What did you root it with? Rooting shouldn't do that. I have one classic way: reinstall rom.
hey bro i rooted with superone click and i have already reinstall the rom and nothing again!
If you have re-installed ROM and that hasn't made a difference I am guessing its a hardware related problem.

hope you didnt mess with image folder couse there is nothing you can do now that the pink screen is locked. just put the dload folder of a stock rom on your sd with a card reader or something and then put it back on your phone and push +,-, power buttons s you can install a stock rom. Everything will be deleted and you will lose everything but thats how you re getting your phone back
Thank you guys i am going to try your way but do you know where i can find the correct rom to install?

From your backup?
i havent any back up to install it! any other idea?
You can follow the procedure described here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1369296
The ROM is on the first link.
You should also check which X5 version you have. X5 "Vanilla" or X5 + (same as X5 Pro).
The ROM's are different.
hey bro thanks but i have already done it but it didnt work!
ALSO AN IMPORTANT THING when i am pushing Volume + and Power on Button a menu appears to me and there are some options there just like reboot phone, apply update AND TOUCHSCREEN FIRMWARE UPDATE(IMPORTANT).
if i decide this option the message that appears me is :
--Update the tp firmware...
e:Update failed!.
one of our probem what can i do about this???

I don't knwo where to post this exactly so here it goes.
I installed revolution 2.09 on my rooted HTC HD without any problems.
Run perfectly. Then today I installed a ROM of a theme from this forum as well called media 1.3 with rom manager.
After the reboot my phone only shows a the text android with a slight moving glow over it. It does not repsond to anything any more. I removed the battery but the same thing is happening.
Did I brick it? What can I do?

im just downloading the rom for you now so i can extract the framework, if you pull your battery out, you can either plug in your charger while its off, this will bring up recovery, or while its off, hold vol down and press power, that will take you to bootloader, and just pick recovery from the list, now when in recovery, if you navigate to the mounts and storage menu, choose the option mount usb storage, you can now connect to a pc as a disk drive and copy stuff to your sd card
im having trouble uploading attachments to xda at the min dya want me to upload it to megaupload for you?
AndroHero,
Thank you for helping me out. I didn't know about the vol down press power option which allows you to acces the sd card and intall a new rom. I had the revolution rom 2.0.9 already. It's installing as we speak. Much thanks for the tips!
To early hooray. I choose the option with the revolution zip for a complete install. After the install I selected rebouut system now. Now it stays on the white HTC screen with the text HTC quitely brilliant. Flashing every 3 seconds or so....
What to do now?
Everything is resolved. revolution is up and running again. I had to un the fullwipe.zip and that did it!
THANKS a lot for all the tips....again

Did you do a full wipe before re-flashing your ROM? even if you did just repeat the process , full wipe /cache, /dalvik-cache, /system and then re-flash the rom fingers crossed it should work

Could it be possible that you installed cwm 3005 and tried a restore with that. I had the same problem. Went back to cwm 2.5.x and then restore worked.

I think there will be a lot of scare because of this CWM 3x...
Same happened to me the other day, stupidly accecpted the update prompt from Rom Manager, did my backup and went to install Cyanogen 6... Got stuck at HTC logo next boot.
Thankfuly, had Leedroid 2.0 on the SD, too, and that one flashed properly
Thing is that when I try to downgrade the Recovery to 2.5x I get an error and really can't be bothered with ADB pushing stuff around, so using Cyanogen 7 for the time beeing
Anyhow, CWM 3.x is likely your problem, easy to fix ^^
Wanting to change my theme on the Samsung spica I had theexact problem on cyanogen mod. Had to redo the whole rooting and installing the Rom again to get to work.

yes, is some script...back to recovery 2.x
hi guys .. i have HTC Desire HD it was working very well on version 2.3.3 then i decide to downgrade it to 2.2 so i can get root + recovery by following this guide :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1152233&highlight=downgrade
i followed the instruction EXACTLY as it was posted after i get to bootloader and i made the update the phone restart and died for almost 5 mints then it switched on HTC logo and keeps vibrating for 2 mints then it works normally .
each time i switch it off it needs 5 mints to turn on after that it keep vibrating as i have said even i cant go to bootloader mode (by pressing volume down + power ) but only with terminal command or by using Ultimate Multi Tool .
by the way :- my phone is 2.2 + S-Off + recovery .
Install rom manager and flash recovery again. Then try and flash a new rom.

I think the problem is that you are using stupid fonts on the forum haha
Erm, try and use a full wipe script, look in the Android Revolution thread.
Probably a corrupt bootloader, maybe try flashing it again?

no need to use those words man ,,, i tried full wipe by using this FULL_WIPE_1.5_EXT4_.zip
wipe it, Reflash and maybe re-root!
re
Just the bootloader...
I had a similar problem when I tried to root and flash ROM's on to mine.
In the end I started the whole process again. I went right back to the beginning as if my phone wasn't rooted. It seemed to work, I don't know but maybe first time round I made a stupid mistake and was a little more careful on my second run.
Anyway, I would suggest re-rooting your phone, then flashing a ROM again. I know it's long but sometimes it's the only way!
Good luck!
To op.
I would recomend using ROM Manager from market, and from there, flash Clockwork Recovery (CWM).
I don't know what recovery or what rom you have tried, but i could point you in the direction of a CM7 rom (Cyanogenmod) or something like this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=840040 . That might do the trick..
Hello, while I was testing 2.3.5 witch was great except that the mobile network was not woorking at all. So I decided that I needed too downgrade. And when I was browsing the phone I accidentally found this way.
This has not been proofed by anyone else I think.
Disclaimer: I do not take the resposibility for your device.
1. Put the dload on the root of SD-card (I used 138sp4)
2. Then go to storage in preferences. Head too the bottom then choose "upgrade SD-card". The phone blacked out, started up and installed 2.2
3. The phone boots up in recovery because of many errors. I choose wipe data/chache and wipe chache and reboot.
4. The phone rebooted and I am back to 2.2.2 from 2.3.5.
This method keeps the start-boot-picture (does not know if the other sulutions keeps it).
Sorry for my bad grammar on some of the words. I just wrote them down and did not have the time to fix them.
Hmmm...interesting....maybe I should try 2.3.5 even if I have the Atmel screen. :/

I have atmel screen but I like it because i wear gloves and the screen is so sensitive that it responds thrugh them.
I was forced to downgrade from 3.2.5 to 2.2.2 for the exacly same reason and i tryied that same way you did and i couldnt do it, i got a message saying something like "there are no upgrade firmware inside the SD card". So i used the root & replace boot and recovery files to downgrade what was a sucess. Got the same issues as you with the boot but the "wipe data/chache" from recovery resolved it.

The decision to distort the battery. Insert, connect the USB to the phone (on the other end connected to a computer), press and hold keys + - food, and wait a few seconds, as soon as you see a red flashing light, unplug the data cable, you can start sewn.

Hi everyone,
I just got my Motorola Bravo today, and it's my first Android device. The stock OS (Eclair) is fine for me, but I want to try something new (i.e. CyanogenMod 7.
2.0).
Well I could access to the recovery mode, and the phone told me to press the camera button to select options. As you know Bravo doesn't have a physical camera button, and I couldn't press Ok button on the screen. I found from somewhere else that power button can be an alternative, but unluckily it made my phone reboot and nothing changed.
So do you have any idea?
Thank you

Do I have to care about the bootloader version to not brick my phone? When I get 2nd-init recovery 2.0 on the phone, could I just upgrade using update.zip file on the SD card?

Its not so difficult, no problem with flashing the SBF file with RSD LITE, almost everybody here have done that before.
Then root and install defy 2nd init, I think its not in the market anymore.
Download it from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1032212
then copy CM7 file to your SDCARD and install it.
Finally I got the Cyanogenmod on my phone. I can tell it's way better than official Eclair & Froyo rom.

Turn the phone on by pressing vol down button along with power button.
You should see an exclamation simbol and a little android image, then press vol down & vol up buttons together to see options.
Select wipe data/factory reset
Reboot and that is all!
I'll try to keep it short, just a few days ago my phone started to boot to CWM Recovery mode every time i turned it on, and I never installed anything or heard about this 'CWM' before it happened. (It says on the recovery mode 'Version 6.0.4.5' if this helps). It is also in Chinese language :/
My phone has been rooted for a few weeks and has worked perfectly until now. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
So Is my phone screwed? Or can I fix this?
P.S. I heard flashing/installing (or something like that) new ROM can fix this, so I've downloaded a custom S4 ROM onto my SD card incase I need to use it (It's just the entire ZIP file with everything in it)
(EDIT: The top of my volume buttom is slightly jammed, could this be making it behave like this? ( Its never turned up my music automatically though)
Thanks in advance!
