it is only for gen2 as it is based on cm.
it seems to be fantastic i just it for an hour but went back to cm7.1 as i had to go out and i didn't want any mess.
http://android.modaco.com/topic/350247-romgen2-lewa-os-android-237cm7-based/
see the progress above.
it is not developed by members at modaco but by lewa tech(china).at modaco people are trying to correct and add new languages to it as it is in chinese(english is there but there are few spelling mistakes).
overall its a nice rom.

change name to lewa os rom(gen 2) general.
it is updated every friday and lewa os 1 was recently released which is a stable and first release.
It's a nice ROM. totally different customized. It's look like MIUI. & It is based on CyanogenMod.
Damnit...
Really wish I could try this rom out. Always feels like I buy the wrong phone.
thx for the news about this rom never knew about will give it a try soon
looks like the new rom that is being translated send imei numbers and gps location to the developers for some reason its not a bad os and you can stop the sending of data by using titanium backup but still im sticking to cyanogen mod 7.

Ti Backup -> remove Moblick Agent -> no more data reporting? Why didn't I think of that. Thanks Kannibalism
no problem mate how did you find the new rom ?
I been using this rom for the last few days, and i have to say im impressed.
About the data collection, i done some google searches on the umeng company and it seem that a lot of applications and other roms are sending information to them.

It's pretty cool... the whole angry birds thing is nice, given i'm really into cheeseball themes like this
The ROM isn't as good as CM in terms of performance, but its definitely more colourfull.
But there are issues with language and the battery only lasted a day or so with 2 hours of wifi and music and an hour of angry birds.

I think it would be nice to have a List of Roms for S2. I found nothing so I start this one. I think this will help everyone who search for a Rom and it will help the Developers to see which Projects are there and see their Progress. My Problem is that I have not enough time to handle this alone because I work 60h a week. My idea is that we all work together.
That this works we have to follow some rules.
1. Only Roms no diskussions
2. Only one Rom per Post
3. Update your Post (new Version etc.)
4. Look if your Rom is allready there

I honestly hate to do this, because I know how we feel about post like this. I recently just bought a nook color with CyanogenMod-7.1.0-encore installed on it. I went into the Market to install a app & it crashed on me. So my question is, is the rom old, what is a good stable rom? Again I'm sorry for this post, thanks in advance for your response..

I don't have a personal opinion as I haven't used a successful rom myself, but after an unstable rom did a number on my NC (to which I have yet to fix), I have spent hours upon hours searching through these forums for answers and I am constantly seeing people suggest CM7. As for what was wrong with your nook, chances are the rom was already having issues when the previous owner passed it on to you, but without knowing what all that person did, there's no certain answer, just guesses.

CM7 is stable. You may want to use Titanium Backup to back up your installed apps, do a factory reset with CWM, and flash the newest CM7 ROM, which is 7.2 Stable. It was just released this weekend and you can find it at cyanogenmod.com. Also flash the latest gingerbread gapps, which can be found at goo.im. Then use Titanium Backup to restore your apps.
So can I just install it through Rom Manager?
Yes. Wipe dalvik and you should be good to go.

I highly recommend CM 7.2 mirage... Can be found here:

It's fast, stable, has lots of configurable options, and has been my daily driver ROM on my nook since early December. Plus the developer is attentive and puts out new updates fairly regularly. Check it out and you won't be sorry!
Q&A for [ROM][G900V][NI2]EXTREME SYNDICATE v2.1! READY NOW!
Some developers prefer that questions remain separate from their main development thread to help keep things organized. Placing your question within this thread will increase its chances of being answered by a member of the community or by the developer. Thanks for understanding and for helping to keep XDA neat and tidy!
Hi all. Is 2.1 using Android 4.4.4? Why isn't it using NE9? (Diff between that and NI2?) Are there any known bugs to this release? If so, could we expect a 2.5 release semi-soon? I'm scared to flash due to other people's troubles so far but have been eagerly waiting an update! This has been a near-perfect ROM for me who likes minimal and stripped down. Making it even more stripped down starts to make me worry though. Haven't any experience with mods other than viper4android. Is that HX camera mod better than the included camera in ExtremeSyndicate 1.5?
Sorry for newb post.
there isnt much dif in ni2.. just a newer version.. it is more debloated but you dont really need to mod anything.. just simply install/push what you want to the phone

That is correct. Find a Android keyboard apk and place it in internal storage or on sdcard. After you have flashed the ROM use the "My Files" app included in the ROM to install the keyboard apk. That is how I understand the process. I'm not sure, but trying to install the "L" keyboard might not be a simple as installing an apk. I think, but not sure, there are some supporting files that you need for the "L" keyboard to properly function. A simple, no frills keyboard may be a better option until you're up and running and then try installing the "L" keyboard or other keyboard from the play store.

Good to hear. I'm not sure about the dark theme, we'll have to ask elliwigy. As far as Google Calendar not syncing, elliwigy removed more "stuff" for this build, he may have eliminated a file needed for sync.

+1 on what BigBot96 said. Your ROM is exactly what I had been wanting for years. A lean, fast, great battery ROM that provided all the basic functions of a smartphone without all the BS bells and whistles. No matter what you do, there will always be someone who wants something different than what YOU want. Let potential users of your ROM know up front what you offer and if that doesn't "float their boat" they can either not flash your ROM or they can add what they want. Let them know up front that you don't offer or support a "buffet line of options". They can like it or, well, leave it and go flash something else.
I miss this rom! For all my devices, with all the roms I tried, this was my favorite. If I could build a rom (which I can't), I would have built something almost identical to this one. You stated you stopped developing because you were busy, tired of trying to debloat more and tired of getting flamed. I accept your stopping as version 1 was to me perfection, and I agree, it would have been so hard to improve upon it.
I tried a couple of other roms. While good, they were not nearly as perfect as this one. I think I'll go back to version 1 to see if I can figure out what is missing from version 2. Then it's back to glory for me. Thanks for all your hard work. I've been busy traveling that I didn't take the time to tell you thanks man. Happy holidays. If you build another rom, can you post a notice here. All the best.
version 2.1 was updated to ni2 but before i could theme n work out some kinks i shut it down.. i was working on the opposite but ran into some issues with 5.0 apks not working.. I will be posting a new rom as soon as we get 5.0! i already have a working list of what to debloat (based on disecting the g900f build) so you will see me again! In the meantime, I have been learning to code since ultimately I want to create apks for various things

I never did understand why people expected stuff to be added back into a ROM when it's main purpose was to be "lighter" with each update makes no sense to me lol. Anyway, I'm running V1 and it's simply awesome! I just rooted and installed V1 on my wife's phone today (she actually ASKED me to root it lmao, I about fell over) but I would really like to have the flashlight toggle that appears to be included in V1.5. Is there an easy way to get the flashlight toggle? Is there a link somewhere for V1.5 (I haven't found one yet)? Can I dirty flash it over V1?

I found some issues:
- This ROM is a little lag (But I dont care 'cause I love MIUI ROM)
- System use a lot of RAM (this is a big problem for me, sometime my phone reboots automatically)

Some feedback after one-day use:
1.Ram issue is still there.
It seems difficultly for you to make u8800's Rom when you no longer own it.
2. This Rom auto-send international message (maybe to China) and not appear on Message App, I lost a little money from my account (0.12$ per one). I knew that when I asked my operation service center. (My phone sent 7 message in total)
So I think that I cant continue testing your Rom, I'm so sorry.
Once again, thank you very much and have a great day.

Nice to see that more people become active on kernel and stuff for Nokia X2, keep up the good work!
But on your github page i see you asking people to keep your authorship, it is reasonable and right, but yourself you making squashed commits without respecting original code and commit authors.
This makes you kind of double-face, please respect others authorship if you want
