I mean it not exist as native ROM. Try to unlock [unlock] any samsung wp7 device or [GUIDE]Unlock/InternetSharing/Backup your OMNIA 7 with branded/unbranded ROM on Mango
and then http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1306415 to install the Dutch language ...
That is indeed the best way to get dutch interface on WP7. This worked for me.
I will give it a try thx!

Hello,
Anybody could tell me where XDA is available in French or how flash an english version into french version ?
Yes,
XDA is available through Bouygues Telecom in French.
Rom version 3.15.06 FRA
Version Radio T313
FRENCH BOUYGUES TELECOM QTEK1010
Yes indeed it's available in France through Bouygues Telecom. I just received mine and the radiostack version is 4.16.00. My question: Where can one download any rom upgrades suitable for this device without compromising the pda, as the telco company does not plan to release or make any upgrade for this device available to endusers? Is it possible to change the OS language and thus get quicker access to a wider selection of applications and rom upgrades ?
Tnanking you in advance for your answers, i remain. Adhoc
Sorry but I don't know. But I hope somenone will answer because I just received mine too.
I suppose that if the hardware is the same we could flash it with an newer English rom (from o2 or ...)
I hope so because if there is no update for the french ROM ...
Maybe there a technical support at bouygues to ask ?
There are 5 different CE builds for the device. English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.
It is up to the network operator to chose which they sell. If you don't like the language they sell tell them.
It is not about the langage it is about to have the latest version for the rom, radio stack... on the qtek from bouygues.
The English Rom are often updated whereas I'm not sure the french rom will be. I prefer to have the OS in english but be able to upgrade my Qtek with english ROM with latest bug fixes instead to keep an older french rom.
The question is to know if an O2 rom, for example, will work on a qtek from bouygues ? Is it the same hardware between both ...?
The radio and CE versions go hand in hand. You need the correct CE version for a particular radio version to run properly. French updates do occur, and usually comprise both a CE and radio update together, they are just less frequent. Development work is done on the English version and the other languages are released with a number of updates and fixes combined.
Thank you about that and the other answers.
But, I am looking for the 64 Mb XDA, which is not available through BOUYGUES, and also non sim-locked... to use it with ORANGE.
I know somebody who has the french version. If I buy an english version, then I backup the French Rom and Radio to put it back into the english XDA I would have, do you think it would be OK ?
If yes, I buy it tomorrow... to relace my odd iPaq with its enormous "jacket"...

Personnally my problem is that I don't know if Bouygue ? (or I don't know who) will update french roms as often as english roms...
And if nobody upgrade the french rom as often as the english I prefer put an English rom on my french Qtek to be sure to have the latest upgrades.
To resume I have to call bouygue to know where I can find updated french roms or find if I can put english rom in my french qtek ...
Hello,
can somebody tell me where to download a french rom for my Qtek 1010 ?
Thanks.
Pierre.

Hi there!
I am looking for an official ROM for the Opal/Touch Viva/MDA Basic.
Everywhere i look people say like "get it from htc.com" or "you can download it from their website".
There are no ROMs for download at www.htc.com!
If i choose germany as country it's even better: it tells me there is no device called touch viva. (I bought the device in germany!!!)
Anyone please can help and tell me where i can REALLY download official HTC ROM??
then, what is this?

What difference does it make ?
doesn't most people in asia have other letters than western countries??
I want english version. (In fact i would like german version most, but since I can't find a newer version than the translated one posted on this board I would stick with english one.)

Hi guys, same here. still looking for a stock german rom. i had mine extracted but the extracted files are not working...
I talked to HTC for a german ROM now.
They told me there isn't a stock ROM in german because there is no german Touch Viva.
For the T-Mobile MDA they explained to me:
"Even though the phone is now unlocked, they (T-Mobile) still own the phone serial number so you will only be able to use t mobile roms, so the best action is to contact them to see if there have a update, if not there is not going to be one available for you to download."
So it seems like HTC does not provide any german ROMs for Opal
i think you can change the language pack... these links might help:

I just contacted HTC and asked them if I can download that file to my unlocked tmobile hd2, and they said no. They said that it might harm the phone, that even though the phone is unlocked , its still tmobile branded software. Sucks, coz when u go to support on htc.com , go to worldwide when selecting country and you'll see a bunch of updates there, Arabic language is one of them.

Nope, it does exist.
The ROM is in English though. Vodafone NL started the sales of the Trophy in january 2011. The (current) ROM is in English, allthough they will probably update the ROM with the Dutch language as soon as it is available for WP7.
Besides of the language issue, the "NL ROM" is the 'only' way to update the branded phone with the help of an executable - since the phone is provider locked.
Ah, is that what he meant. I would hardly call that a Dutch ROM though
Hi guys,
I have a Unbranded Omnia 7 and I updated to Mango via Zune. I couldn't wait for it, so I forced the update with the disable-internet-on-update trick.
Everything works fine, but I can't find the Dutch language to choose as OS language. This was supposed to be in there for Mango right? I can now select Dutch for keyboard etc, only OS is missing. Do you guys know more about this?
Thanx for the info!
It was never made possible through official channels that new languages supported will be added to all phones. Only new phones have it officially.
You can get around that and have Dutch language deployed, but it requires being on NoDo...
You have to modify registry on Nodo to install other languages with Mango update.
I am not really sure why people expect their Windows (Phone) EN getting CZ/NL/PL, etc. translations with Service Pack installation.

Microsoft confirmed that there would be Dutch keyboard support in Mango, then every dutchy ever started thinking that Mango would be in Dutch.
Ok, so I need to go back to nodo and tweak something in the registery? I will do research for that than. I didn't know that the new supported OS languages would only be available on new phones...
Microsoft released only EN WP7 phones in the Netherlands, and said Dutch OS language would be supported (and not only keyboard). On the official MS it clearly says Dutch OS is on WP7.5
That's clearly not the case. At least for some existing WP7 phones.
There were (also) only EN phones on sale in Czechia, but Microsoft was always saying complete CZ translation would not be available, only the keyboard. So, it was a nice surprise you can get complete CZ environment with simple registry mod.
