Since yesterday i am unable to download the free app of the day from the amazon appstore app, has anyone else faced this issue yet?
I used the fakenamegenerator.com workaround, i can see all my previously acquired apps, but i get this error " Amazon appstore is not yet available in your region" when im trying to download the new free app.
Should i downgrade the appstore to a previous version? my current version is 2.1.0

You need use a proxy or ssh with USA ips to purchase on PC. When purchase done, you can download it with amazon app store on ARC.
nah i wish to use it only on my phone.
There is no way to use it only on ARC now.

I'm currently working overseas, I was able to download Apps from Amazon before. But now Amazon detects I'm not in US so a message pops-up "Amazon Appstore is not available in your region".
I've tried several methods posted on XDA and other website but it's not working.
- Anyone knows of a successful work around?
- Can someone start a list of daily Free Apps APK, so I can grab the ones I like?
TIA
If you have the phone registered to your account you can just go to the amazon app store via your computer and "purchase" it that way.
I don't think anyone can post the apk because it might be considered piracy since you didn't "purchase" it for free and you don't own it.

You can try setting up a proxy for your phone. That might make it think you're in the U.S.
Hi,
All I've done so far is install free apps. What happens if I buy an app and install it on my current tablet, but then at some point sell the tablet for a newer tablet? Can I re-install the already-paid-for app if I use the original google account used to purchase it?
There doesn't seem to be a function to download the apps and save them as an install file, so you can back it up.
If anyone's had any experience with Amazon App store, how do they handle this? For Amazon, you're using your Amazon account, so it doesn't matter what google ID is used on the Android right?
If I have two tablets, is it possible to paid for program and install it on both tablets? Either with google app store or amazon's app store?

Answer to both is yes, at least for the Android Market anyway - I've never used Amazon's app store.

If you have rooted your TF you can install Titanium Backup and use this to backup any apps already installed, including their data.

Android Apps from the Market are all handled by the users email account and not per device. As long as you link your new device to your gmail (or other) account then it should sync with that device (I think).
Had no dealings with Amazon Market so I cant comment on that sorry.
Mark.
Android Market: Just log in with your Google credentials and you can redownload the apps.
Amazon: Same thing. You'll just have to verify its device one time via email or something.
I use Android Market & Amazon App store on both my my Nexus S & TF101. No problems.
But yes, I totally agree with Titanium Backup. It'll make things easier! Especially with game saves.
I run my family's fleet of android devices and can confirm that you can install Purchased Apps from the Android Market on as many devices as you want at once as long as the MAIN Google account is the same. I havent been able to test yet but it appears that Honeycomb now allows multiple accounts inside of the Android Market and I would assume that you could then install purchased apps from a secondary Google account now as well.
As for the Amazon Market, you can install Purchased Apps on as many devices as you'd like as long as the same account info is used. I use the Amazon Market to install purchased apps on all of the devices I manage because it allows me to do so without having to give access to my contacts, emails, and other items that a Google Account would sync.
I have put AOKP_p4wifi_milestone-4 on my 10.1 Galaxy Tab and everything is working except for the camera as expected. As part of getting my apps back i need the Amazon market app but after I install it I cannot log in to the market. I verified that the id and password is correct and I was wondering if this is a known problem?
I keep getting an error saying 'There was a temporary error signing you in. Please try again in a few moments'. Has anyone else seen this?
never seen that. I've been on ICS for over 2 weeks and use amazon store daily.
I just did a device reset and reinstalled the Amazon app market and it is still no go. What version of the app store are you using? The one I just got from Amazon is 2.2.0.
did you go to settings applications and clear data

As the subject states, since I upgraded my N7 to the latest JB 4.2, something messed up the Amazon AppStore authentication.
Every single apps I got from Amazon AppStore now require login to the Amazon AppStore before the app can be used. Otherwise the qpp will quit.
I also noticed that now I have to login every time I want to access Amazon AppStore itself, as if it doesn't remember my account.
Anyone have this problem?
Oops, this issue has been reported...
Mod, can you delete this thread?
I have uninstalled Amazon Appstore from my rooted NST. Didn't use it much and kept puting up errors.
Now my Opera browser won't run. I get the message that I need to rinstll the Opera Appstore and sign in to Amazon.
Tried to reinstall the Apk form amazon and get parsing error.
My other internet apps work fine.
Does Opera have a deal with Amazon? I installed the Opera browser from google.
How do I fix this? What is going on?
Ugh, markets, whether "Google Play" or "Amazon Market".
Even the free apps from Amazon Market requires you to have continued registration.
Opera Mobile is free but coming through Amazon Market it has claws in it.
You'll need to uninstall and download directly from opera, then re-install with adb. Make sure you get the correct version as the latest may not work with the nook touch version of android.
