no picture after install cooked ROM - Galaxy Tab 10.1 General

hi guys,
I just rooted, and flashed my Samsung Tab 101. with Ganborou cooked rom, but then I figured out there has been no picture whatsoever in Market Store, everything is just text and no picture of the app at all. if using IMDB app, I don't see any picture also. Can't really figure out what's wrong.
This is my first time rooting Does anyone get any idea?
Also, just wonder, how secured a cooked rom is? not sure if I logged in with my details, will any dude able to access it compared to a stock rom?
thanks guy

you got a link to this rom I never heard this rom?

Go ask in the forum for that ROM rather than creating a new thread.

Ohh its a 3G from not a wifi that explains why I never read about it.

Some kind of ad-block that is messing with you? Did you ask in the rom thread?

Android 2.2.2 and CM stable

Does anyone know if CM 6.1 is going to be updated to 2.2.2 to address the MMS fix? Seems like it would be a very simple update for us to flash?
Probably not due to cm7 being out

Well it was released for the nexus as a small update. Wonder if it can be flashed right over?

There isn't anything that's the exact same, but we do have a few different 2.3 roms. You should try CM7 (obviously) or we do have royal ginger and fauxs asop. I'm sure you can find a honey comb theme around here somewhere too. Also, you should try handcent sms, the have a few different looks you can try out.
ok well i just found out that the rom install on my wifes phone is for the I9000 Galaxy 4g.
is there anyway to port this to the mytouch 4g?

I'm sure its possible, it would most likely be buggy tho. Prob wouldn't be worth it. Download a Asop and play around in the themes forum, I but you could come up with your own stuff.
Also my fav Rom is royal glacier try that ;-)

Has anyone come up with any ideas on the subject?
P.S. I am using the SMS app Chomp but one I get a message and delete the message I will get the same message may 2 or 3 times. Any ideas?
Sent from my HTC Glacier using XDA App
I believe everything was already explained to you.
About ChompSMS - try to uninstall it and see if the problem is related to it, or it's your phone.
There are honeycomb themes for CM7 that you can use instead, it's not worth porting over the SGS software at all- there are many HW differences that would cause issues. Even the sense ports to the galaxys are buggy already. Go look in the xda theme section for the honeycomb themes.

It's a leaked version of 2.3.4, and the main reason it's such a big deal for the SGS2 is that it's meant to deal with a few issues that some users are having, mainly to do with battery life and the "Android OS" taking up so much of it.
It's actually not in a fit state at the moment and most people are staying away from it.
2.3 in general is working great on the tab, so don't be too eager to get a newer version. It probably won't make any noticeable difference.

Not sure why you say it is not in a fit state, I have been using the stock 2.3.4 since release, and it has no more issues than 2.3.3, if anything it is better.
It does not seem to fix the android OS battery leak, although that is apparently a samsung driver issue anyway.

It's mostly done (and it's awesome), only non-working thing right now is the camera. There is a non-technical issue that needs to be sorted before we can release anything for Tegra2, though.

I'm giddy with excitement.
So what does that mean for us zoom owners?
Sent from my Xoom using Tapatalk
That since they are both tegra 2 it is possible we could get it ported over
Sent from my SCH-I510 using XDA App
Also to me it means that they were able to get the Radio enabled in ICS for Mobile Data, whereas it's still being worked on w/ the current ICS builds for the Xoom.
And hoping once it's up and running on the Galaxy Tab the port time to the Xoom should be minimal.

I'm running it now.... its probibly the best pics rom I've tried. The toggles are awesome and very original and you hide and show them with the quick settings button in the drop down. No dialer lag. No lag at all. Pure awesomeness

wouldn't download from my phone either, I had to do it from my computer.
I've been running this for a couple days now. And its freaking awesome. One of the more original roms that are around. I really like the toggles in the notification. Took me a minute to find them tho. I flashed this twice before I figured it out. I haven't had any issues at all. Except for the occasional browser crash but I've got that with every ics rom. To download on your phone try requesting desktop page, or use opera mobile. I'm hanging on to this one for a while. If only I could get the on screen buttons.

I typically use Pete's ROMs, because I like the vanilla experience. I've heard some good things about this ROM though, so I'm considering it. How "vanilla" is it?
As a gauge, I think CM7 is far too "bloated". No hate, just personal preference.

Since I have seen the Nexus devices confused in this thread I hope this helps.
i9020T - SAMOLED GSM with AWS bands for T-Mobile's 3g.
i9020A - SAMOLED GSM with ATT's 3g bands.
i9023 - SLCD GSM sold in some European countries.
D720 - SAMOLED CDMA and WiMAX for Sprints 3g and 4g networks. The D720 is the only Nexus S model to carry the 4G tag as its the only nexus s with 4g.
Hope that helps clear the confusion.
