I have notices something about my phone before and after update
at first if i switch on my 3G the phone becomes very hot and reboot .
Now if i open any application with 3G or Data or if it becomes hot ..then it reboot ..
My only option was to freeze my phone for a while in the fridge to cool it off but it is only temporal
Help me!! is it a software problem or hardware problem ....
any great suggestions
because now i can't even go data or 3G for 3 mins ... then it keep rebooting and rebooting
Please help ... it was unlocked when i bought it in my trip from France...
Now i can't go back just because of my phone ... Please help me

I had the exact same problem before. I toke the phone to Vodafone repair center and told me it is a hardware issue and require to replace the main board and it will take too long to fix and just gave me a new phone , Now I have no problem at all
You may install stock rom and test it. If still meet so, i think have ptoblem with hardware. Bring to guarantee

I have a problem with my Leo, seen several times on the forum, but with a little thing more.
so,
_it freeze up often (with battery drainage, full when i go to sleep and shut off when wake up)
_soft reset alone
_i must do many (and many) soft reset when it freeze up, because it freeze on start up.
_and when it's happened, the part below the battery is hot!!
i've test many rom, with task29 whenever and hard reset after flash, and on every 1st start up, freeze...
Do you know this problem?

is it the ram or processor? (or both lol)
if possible at all, just get a replacement while you still can.
I have the same problems more or less. More specifically it freezes randomly ONLY when using the internet (on GPRS, 3G, I havent tried it in wifi), and when it does it gets hot on the part under the battery (really, what part is there?).
Anyway, I send it to the service (couldn't get a replacement), and they checked it but they found no problems
Oh, and i have tried e v e r y t h i n g I could in order to find out why that happens. With SD, whithout SD, Stock Rom, Custom Rom, ,Different Radios, Nothing Installed, you name it, but the problem is there. I am not sure though if I can connect the problem to my SIM card, or the gsm network in my area (doubt it though since I was using my old TP2 flawlessly), but I do not have the knowledge to even guess if that could be the possible reason of the problem.
HTC will ask you to use the stock rom and try if you still get the problem , if so, then your phone might be a defective one. go to HTC and ask for a replacement.
flash stock spl and rom and go for htc ,if hard reset didnot solve these issues then it is a defective device

my leo is SFR branded, so I must go through them and with SFR rom.
to get a replacement, it will be hardly.

If you've had it more than 7 days (including the time it took to get to you if you ordered it from the SFR website) they won't give you a new one... They'll send it off to be repaired which can take up to 14 days. I know... I had to do it twice in the first month until they finally fixed my microphone problem...

HI, after 2 repairs,i finally have my hd2 !!
1st time, software uptdate...so nothing
2nd time they changed the motherboard.
Test for 2 days before change the rom lol

After all the waiting my phone came back with working signal.
But after receving one misscall or one call my phone freezes and i cant call anyone anymore, so i turn it of then turn it back on the phone doesnt work anymore!till after 2 hours of removing the battary, the phone shows the sony ericsson and enters, but i get an error saying: " sorry processer system is not responding. " so i have to remove the battary and wait at lest 5or6 hours so i can turn the phone on again but the same problem happens over and over is there anyone who knws how to solve such a problem?
i feel my phone got a viruse of some kind that is effecting my processer so is there a way i can completle remove the system from the phone and reinstalle it ill try to root my phone and see if that may help me in any kind but i really need help on this thank you all for you help and time for reading this...

Have you tried re-flashing via SEUS?
i have tried it like 20times the phone only turns on with a black screen that is lit with nothing on it and freezes... the phone only turns on after 2 hours as i said and gives me the error, and after 5or 6 hours turns on but if i get an miss call or call the phone starts to lag and freeze and not respond right...
all the simple first things i tried i want an extream make over for my phone so that it works....
to make it more clear the phone after one month of use this happend flashed it on seue the phone worked but with no signal in it so took it and got it fixed so now the signal is great but the phones softwear is not booting up in any way only after removing the battary for a long time so i need a complete system restor or i need to see if its a processer or just go back to my lame x Sony ericsson X1 and be one sad sony custmer. so please i need this help.....again im very thankfull

Hello dear droid pro users, i bought a droid pro from ebay and just received it yesturday (Live in Kazakhstan, central asia). The phone i received reboots every 5-15 minutes with no particular reason. Here's what i tried to do, non of it helped:
1) Factory reset the phone from the phone settings - did not help
2) Hard reset by holding R and M button and swithching the phone on, then going to a reset and erase cache procedure - did not help
3) Updated the software through internet connecting the phone - did not help
3) Swithing between global mode/GSM/CDMA modes - did not help
4) Unmountind SD card and working without SD (maybe SD card was bricked) - did not help
5) Unmounted SIM card and used without network (thought it was conection issue) - did not help
6) Tacked off the battery for 1 hour - did not help
7) Did all procedures step by step done in followind post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=923552 - did not help
Does anyone know how to solve this problem, or i just thow the phone away Thanks in advance

I think the initial run of phones was so-so quality wise. I have a reboot problem as well that seems to be linked to either the GPS subsystem and/or the charging subsystem.
Probably call Verizon at some point and ask for a warranty exchange.
One interesting point is that it does not rebbot when it's charging. Could a battery replacement solve this problem? Or it's the phone's power management problem?
I doubt that in this problem to blame the battery. In any case, flashing the device does not hurt. If firmware does not help then the problem is really in the gland.
I blamed the battery too, and found this kind of rare battery from someone else and tasted it... did not help. After several fission ROM'ing and flashing with no results, it's 98% problem of the phone hardware.
i had the same problem with my motorola droid pro verizon ,what i did was i went to verizon and told them about situation they send me another device also pre owned (phone is on warranty) and replaced phone has na issues everything works just fine . no reboots , no power off, no hangs .i tried everything like mentioned i 1st post did not help. i think is a hardware difectived or phone has a virus on it ...

My problem is the battery, it always turns off when i use it. I need to wait at least 15 minutes then turn it on, to only use it for a few minutes. Optus (Australia) wouldnt fix my phone because it was rooted. How can I return the phone to its original form. or how to fix the phone if you had same problems. do you smell burn ... is your battry tooo hot ... i had a problem similar to this and discover it was a failure from factory .... (motherboard chip problem).. and second time i experienced this was a custom kernel (3.62) ...

jz repair using sony ericsson update service, then it will become unrooted GB again.. then send to repair.. i hope this can help u..

I have Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 ( Unrooted 6GB) bought 3 - 4 months ago ,
i was using it yesterday afternoon , after couple of hours i thought to Put phone on charge it was 36% , But when i pickup my phone it was restarting . i was confused , when booted up after 2 mins use then restarted again , i noticed little bit lag becasue i was googling the possible reason of unexpected Reboot.
then it kept restarting after every 4 to 5 mins of use , i thought its the button so i open the case but everything looked fine . then it started to reboot right after bootup , i thought its a virus , i was able to wipe data and reset 2 times , but still same rebooting issue , now i carefully checked my phone buttons , everything like new , and i take care of my phone very well . I AM VERY SURE BUTTONS ARE FINE , but phone is behaving like power button is being pressed whole time .
things got worse i woke up midnight i looked at my phone still stuck on restart continuously, and next reboot it booted up for couple of secs and showed me pattren lock but called emergency number ( Emergency Call Button Under Pattren) , i was not able to cut the call but i keep trying then again re boot , i didnt sleep because of this phone vibrating rebooting and sometimes calling EMERGENCY service even when i removed sim and SD card , i can't remove battery so i let it keep rebooting, now battery died .
guys i am sorry for this long description but i am in big problem and stress . i am youtube lover and some social media , games like pubg sometimes . my phones is rebooting even if i go Boot Menu , after many tries i was able to reset once , but same issue ,
Please help me , waiting for replies i am online , any more questions please ask i will try to reply as soon as possible , i dont know rooting or custom roms . i never did , Please Guide me to go threw this mess . I SHALL BE VERY THANKFUL FOR THIS .

Goto Service center
Sounds like power button contacts have shorted out somehow, though very less likely. Better go to a service centre instead of wrecking your brain over something which you probably can't fix.

i will have to send it back to India . but my friend buttons ? do you think there can be any other reason as well . Like virus which effects ROM stored in memory so even when we factory reset , problem stays same. BOOTMENU as well all phone is doing rebooting again and again till it rains all battery .

I'm not too sure about what exactly had happened to your phone. I can't say much if I don't see it myself. This is a very uncommon and peculiar problem because modern phones are less vulnerable to viruses. So it might just be a fault unit which you have received.

Ok i will plan to send it back to India . I bought this phone from Indian Website because this model wasn't available here in Canada.
When my friend ordered it . He told me about 99 RS extra for some kind of protection . I said pay that as well . I have the original bill . My friend have copy of that ask well.
Any idea where it will get repaired ? I mean send it back to FLipkart ? Or Asus customer service ?

try to get a replacement. Since you said you bought this phone 4 months ago you might not be able to exchange it. Other option is getting it fixed at an asus service centre and they may do it for free because it's still under warranty.
