Does anyone know if there is a cab for swype that can add Portuguese to the tmobile version?
Currently the Tmobile Swype comes in spanish, french, english and german.
however, the swype site said that their device is available in portugues. Being that I travel a lot this would be very helpful switching between the languages.
Does anyone know if there is a way to have the atrix in swedish? I know there is a scandinavian keyboard, but can you switch the atrix to Swedish. I see the choices on the stock phone are English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese.
If the bootloader is unlocked and you got an ATT Atrix you can flash CherryBlur 1.2 which is based on european software that includes Swedish, Norwegian and Danish.
Sent from my MB860 using XDA Premium App
But if we are still AT&T stock FroYo 2.2.2 then it won't be able to until the OTA update that unlocks the bootloader OR we flash a new ROM (KennPenn or CherryBlur)?
Hi guys.
I' used the search tool, but found nothing not even close to this, so I decided to open a new topic to ask: Is there a stock ROM for A500 with Portuguese (Brazilian) language?
My Acer A500 is completely stock and was updated to version 7.006.01_COM_GEN1 in the last acer update, but this ROM only has the Portuguese (Portugal) language.
I know Acer has lauched the A500 here in Brazil, but I have no idea if they have made a translation to pt-br, or if they're selling here the pt-pt version.
Can anyone enlight me?
Thanks in advance!

Right here (it has Portuguese language):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1290318
But if you're not rooted, and don't have CWM installed, you can't flash it.
Thanks for the reply.
I've also tried the stock Acer_A500_7.006.01_COM_GEN2 update (not your file) and it didn't have the Brazilian Portuguese, but only the European Portuguese. Do you have this version on your tablet? If so, could you check whether there are 2 "flavors" of portuguese language?
If there's only one Portuguese, it's most likeky the European version. You can tell them apart by checking the "settings" icon on the menu. In European portuguese it's called "definições" and in Brazilian Portuguese it's called "configurações".

The choice I have to switch my language to is spelled "Portugue~s" the ~ being above the e.
Not sure which Portuguese this is?
Yeah, it's the same I got here. Unfortunately, that's European Portuguese. I'm guessing Acer was too lazy to lauch both versions...
Thanks anyway for the help!

No problem. I just learned that there are two variations of Portuguese
It's always good to learn something new!
The two variations are like English-US and English-UK. People who speak one can understand perfectly what a speaker of the other says, but some words and expressions seem kind of awkward.
i bought this sm-g9006v from amazon it came with several languages included spanish but after upgrade the rom it only has 3 languages and no googleplay
