I have a Trophy which has received the Nodo update via Zune. It is a SIM-free version, so has no carrier branding. Since I have had the phone, I have been unable to select UK English as a keyboard language - I have German, Italian, Spanish, the three French choices and English (US), but no English (UK). This causes problems with auto-correct and spelling.
I am wondering if this can be fixed by flashing an appropriate ROM. At present I have 1.20.401.00 (FW 2250.09.12000.401). Previously I had flashed the 7389 HTC Europe ROM - that did not enable any additional languages.
Incidentally, I did raise this as a fault with HTC - their response was to return the phone for service but they could not confirm whether this was a general fault or even if returning the phone would mean I would get it back fixed. As it would mean days without a phone I didn't bother to take up their offer because they couldn't guarantee me a fix.
Good evening, I have a HTC T-Mobile myTouch 4g that came with the new language in French and English. More Wi-Fi but also did not work. Or brothers wanted to see if they could help me solve my case. I hope someone can grab a ROM that has the original in Portuguese language. Because PD15IMG.zip installed the Rom and continued with the same flaws and Wi-Fi the same languages.
Hi, for those looking for a ROM for MT4G that supports Portuguese language (PT-BR): I installed the Virtuous Unity v1.31.0 in my MT4G and it has Portuguese and many other languages. Very good!
PS: Before that I've tried to use the Locale app from the market, but it didn't work on the stock ROM (just partially translated).

Hi guys.
I' used the search tool, but found nothing not even close to this, so I decided to open a new topic to ask: Is there a stock ROM for A500 with Portuguese (Brazilian) language?
My Acer A500 is completely stock and was updated to version 7.006.01_COM_GEN1 in the last acer update, but this ROM only has the Portuguese (Portugal) language.
I know Acer has lauched the A500 here in Brazil, but I have no idea if they have made a translation to pt-br, or if they're selling here the pt-pt version.
Can anyone enlight me?
Thanks in advance!

Right here (it has Portuguese language):

But if you're not rooted, and don't have CWM installed, you can't flash it.
Thanks for the reply.
I've also tried the stock Acer_A500_7.006.01_COM_GEN2 update (not your file) and it didn't have the Brazilian Portuguese, but only the European Portuguese. Do you have this version on your tablet? If so, could you check whether there are 2 "flavors" of portuguese language?
If there's only one Portuguese, it's most likeky the European version. You can tell them apart by checking the "settings" icon on the menu. In European portuguese it's called "definições" and in Brazilian Portuguese it's called "configurações".

The choice I have to switch my language to is spelled "Portugue~s" the ~ being above the e.
Not sure which Portuguese this is?
Yeah, it's the same I got here. Unfortunately, that's European Portuguese. I'm guessing Acer was too lazy to lauch both versions...
Thanks anyway for the help!

No problem. I just learned that there are two variations of Portuguese
It's always good to learn something new!
The two variations are like English-US and English-UK. People who speak one can understand perfectly what a speaker of the other says, but some words and expressions seem kind of awkward.
does anyone have brazilian portuguese language for sph-p100 Sprint
in a rom or add on if in rom needs to be 2.3.4 thanks
So here is the situation. I bought my Xoom in Brazil and flashed with a stock US 3.1 to get the update to ICS. Everything went smoothly and got the upgrade to ICS as desired.....but since i flashed with the 3.1, i got only 3 languages supported: english, spanish and french. Is it possible to add all the supported languages that come in normally? Or at least some of them? How?
Thanx
Cheers
