If my screen went into stand by and I try to unlock, the game won't come back. The screen remains black but I can hear the game running in the background. What gives?
Off-topic: how do I change dock icons/apps?
Any one with any ideas?

Unless this is happening for you across many apps, it just means that the developers of that one app messed up. Is it World of Goo?

The problem is with the game. I also have this issue with Samurai 2. Once it wakes from sleep, the O and X indicators disappear. I have to go back to the main menu & then resume the game.
To change the dock icons:
1. Open the app drawer
2. Click Option button
3. Tap Edit
4. Drag the app onto the dock icon you want to replace.
Yes, they're world of goo and frontline commander. These are the only games I've tried so far.

is there an app or a tool that I can use to see how "responsive" my screen is? I just want to see if I have the "improperly grounded" issue

if you haven't noticed a problem, then there either isn't one, or it doesn't affect you. it's when you go looking for problems that you find them. just leave well enough alone!
Ok, but how do you test? Ive seen apps where u can draw lines and stuff but I can't find anything on the market. What is a good app?

The grounding issue can be seen when you put the phone down on a surface ( non conducive) and try to operate the phone. Mine is most severe on the upper half of the screen, like when sliding the top bar down. Then touch the back cover and try it again.

Yeah, I only know it when I'm trying to slide the notification bar down when it is lying on the couch or something. The rest of the screen is fine.
Putting it down flat and trying to pull the top bar down I would say is the easiest way. I have problems with it

The app Multitouch Visible Test in the Market will let you see up to 2 touch points on the screen. I use it for everything I test with.
I picked mine up about 2 1/2 weeks ago. It's fully stock and I'm running LauncherPro Plus with only 2 screens. Here are some of the issues I've noticed while using. Some would be considered bugs, others as design defects.
notifications will disappear with only the clock , wifi and battery showing. when I touch the clock everything will pop up but will disappear again when i clear the screen.
random screen glitches including flashes, screen rotations and lag,
music player will stop for no reason and i have to hit the play button again to get it going, or will stop when i open another app,
CNN news widget will disappear sometimes,
the volume rocker is difficult to engage
market only runs in landscape which is a major pain,
after reviewing a selection on the market, it returns you to the top of the category which is bad if the category has thousands of selections.
these are minuscule issues. honeycomb is new from the ground up so these will be worked out.
anyone else have these or other issues?

I hate this as well. It forces me to think do i really want to look at this app and have to scroll all the way down again? I would look at more apps and try more if i didnt have to scroll and find my place again.
That's like it is in every market app. I think it's a good reason to use the android market website. Since the application always returns to the top.

Bug it!
The only issue I can confirm is the market not returning to your location in the list, which is annoying. Everything else the OP lists seems like random issues with his unit.
Actually those issue are probably happening because Launcher Pro Plus was written for android 2.1, not even 2.2. The Market issue affects all of us.

Ive had some lag...not as smooth as my ipad2. I know HC has widgets and etc going on on the homescreen, but still, it does lag once in a while and its annoying when it hangs for a few seconds.
Volume rocker...yes, its super annoying and shows some places where Motorola did not really think this through entirely.
Market going to landscape...yea its a little annoying
Music player stopping songs...YES I got that a lot...extremely annoying.
Ok now according to the battle bears site this game will not work on the motorola atrix. This is in fact false!
After starting and seeing splash screen, Just hit the power button, go to lock screen, unlock and theres the main menu
Actually, they both worked for me, without any add-ons. What I did was different. I started both games up, and then went to the home screen and other apps while I let both games run for awhile in the background. After a few minutes I went back to each game, and they both let me get to their respective main menus.

LOL even easier then my fix! too easy! Just hit the power button, go to lock screen unlock and theres the main menu but battle bears 1 still crashes every single time you get to gameplay area! Just can't play that one!
When I'm streaming movies from Amazon, the soft buttons on the bottom of the screen constantly stay lit. Does everyone else's do this? Is there a way to turn the lights off?
I guess the Amazon app for videos does not have the necessary code to do that... it's a problem with the app....

I'm not using an app. I'm using Boat Browser to go to the site. I even went back to stock and relocked to see if that may be affecting it. No change. And I notice they never go off even if I'm doing nothing but looking at the homescreen. Do yours go off?
Well, the Nexus 10 Guidebook answered one question. They are supposed to go off like I thought.
After a short time without getting used, these buttons may shrink to dots or fade away, depending on the current app. To bring them back, double-tap in their approximate location.

Might want to parse that guidebook a bit more:

So do yours go off?
And like I said before, they don't go off even when not using an app and sitting at the homescreen.
Can't anyone answer a simple question? Do your navigation button lights stay on or go off?
Someone told me their lights stayed on except when using Netflix. I signed up for a Netflix trial just to test it. They go off when viewing a Netflix movie. I guess mine is normal, just not normal to what I'm used to.

Homescreen - they stay on as long as the screen is on.
They don't "go off" ever since they're part of the UI. The only time they change is when they fade to small dots instead of icons, whenever certain apps are trying to go full-screen, although it's pseudo-fullscreen since the dots remain to show you where the home button is should you require it.

Thanks, I guess I'm used to ICS 4.0.4 on my phone. The light on the navigation buttons will go off after a few seconds of not touching the screen.

You realise that they're not backlit 'buttons' don't you? They don't have their own separate backlight...

No, I've never really thought about it. It could be magic for all I know. I just know they will go off on my phone while the rest of the screen stays on.
The buttons are on the screen. They are not like the ones on your phone.
Odd Blue square in the upper right drop down
Yeah so I'm running a rooted Nexus 10 Stock JB 4.3. You know the drop down menu that alets you into setting, wifi, airplane mode ect? Yeah well the first box with the user name. Mine is blue. Like when you highlight something in windows. Is something up? It's just odd and bugging me.
Also Anyone running Hill Climb Racing have all the engine sound stop about 2 seconds after you start a stage? Tried reinstalling and eve3rything. Nothing fixes this.
Thanks for any help.
I'm not sure what's happening, probably it's the default if no picture was found, I think you can change it going to:
Settings
Users
You
Face icon right after your name
You can do the rest
