green camera not working

Hi !
I installed this rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1781658&page=10
And the camera doesnt works.. any ideas? I have the green lens and installed the green lens version of course.

Do you have a green lens? Have you installed the green lens version? If yes on both, report it in the threat.

Android 4.2 Gallery Working on Cm9

Hi to all as title says i have downloaded the Android 4.2 gallery & camera app from this link http://forums.androidcentral.com/ve...-roms-hacks/220830-jelly-bean-4-2-camera.html
Gallery works like a charm but camera Fc´s and i'm looking if there´s a dev who´s interested in trying to get it to work, i can't because i'm a noob
almost forgot, with root explorer insert in system/app and change proper permissions reboot and enjoy

[Fix] [MIUI10] camera upside-down

So apparently in a few MIUI10 based ROMs there's a bug
with the Camera2 implementation.
Just download this zip file and flash it via TWRP,
it will rotate your front camera back to its right angle

If the upside down happens ONLY with Gcam, I would not mess with it.
BUT
if you're experiencing EXACTLY this bug, it's affecting ALL your cameras apps, since it's a system/etc/camera setting.
Then, this patched file will fix them all!

this camera issue happens in every camera app whether its stock camera or third party,,,

i used command adb sideload <filename.Zip> and flash.
but nothing happened.

Front cam is still upside down
Nvm, fixed it. I changed the front cam degrees to 360 instead of 270. Lol weird

I am still having updside down issue after the patch. Any suggestions?

Whatsapp selfie camera takes upsidedown selfies, I just noticed. All other cameras seem normal, Gcam included(orientation is ok after processing). Mount angle is already 270 for my front cam, I might have changed that specially for Gcam when i upgraded fw to MIUI10(.eu)
LE. changed front cam orientation to 360(was 270) and got the stock cam selfie upsidedown(probably all other cameras), so not an option and seems this is the stock setting for my fw.

I've used that already - no effect

Hi i've flashed the zip on Havoc 2.4 but now I get the frontal photo rotated with any camera app. Before was just the GCam with the photo shooted. How can i revert it?
Edit: with root access open this file

Change the MountAngle to 360 and then reboot, this worked for me.

Any good Gcam for stock Rom?

Currently im in stock ROM rooted but i can't find any gcam that works good with my phone. The version i have is the fu24 one which works but not as it should for the focus side.
Suggest me a version down below for the stock ROM.

I don't think the focus on any GCam works on the stock ROM after a update. There's a kind of fix where you need to set the image aspect ratio to 16:9 for it to work. You lose a few pixels but hey, at least the camera finally works.

I've heard that yes, they work perfectly on custom pie ROMs.

so switching to 16:9 ratio, Gcam wont have Autofocus issues in stock pie Roms?
Also is trick is for gcam v5 or v6 or both?

Correct. I'm using my GCam on 16:9 on my Stock, no modification Pie ROM for a while now and have absolutely no issues. And yes, this fix works for all the GCam versions. I have both v5 and v6 and autofocus works on both.

Sure! I can't upload over here because of the file size I think but I'll give links.
I use this one for Night Sight and for RAW (the front camera doesn't work in it): https://f.celsoazevedo.com/file/gcamera/MGC_6.1.021_V1.apk
I rarely use this one for HDR+ with a longer shutter, and the front camera works too: https://f.celsoazevedo.com/file/gcamera/GoogleCamera-Pixel2Mod-Arnova8G2-V1.apk

This is the best one I have used so far. If you drop back cam to 9MP the autofocus issue goes away. I'm using stock androidone pie on MiA1 GCam_6.2.024_N7P_test1.apk

I gave up... Installed PE with A10 everything is working way better than the stock ROM also found a overwhelmer gcam that doesn't crashes at all.

Hmm so I need to clean all my data right? Ok I will think about it.. I can install this rom like update to stock? I using recovery twrp to update - I have root and unlocked.

It's a bit more complicated than that but its not hard to be honest . This is the guide i followed to flash my mi a1 https://telegra.ph/Installation-Guide-For-Mi-A1-Pixel-Experience-03-26 . Take a backup of everything before flashing the ROM if something goes wrong also watch a couple videos before trying it . Good Luck

MI 9t front camera works, but not moving - help

Hi,
I'm on last firmware and Blissrom. Before i was on other custom ROM and it works normally. Front camera it's hidden but If i change it from back camera i see the light so it's working but not moving up.
Any ideas how to solve this ?
