I have a rooted stock ROM 32GB Transformer with CWM 3.1.0.1.
Last night I was trying to use Tapatalk when I kept getting FC's. I rebooted the tablet thinking nothing of it and when it came back up, everything was FC'ing. I tried a system wipe and get the following error.
When I connect with ADB, I start with "#" but cannot remove the offending file. I mounted data as read/write but do not have access at /data/system/dropbox
Does anyone have any ideas for me on how to clean this up?
Thanks!
***Update - I loaded stock recovery and performed a wipe there and I am back.

I believe there's a new version of CWM that you can install - maybe try that?

I've already rooted this thing like 3 or 4 times and gone back to stock for repairs since I'm flashing for Cricket. Now it wont root. Here's the entire Root CMD:

The first few times I did it, it worked flawless. But now I've tried 3 times, and it just goes about with this error.
Never seen that one, maybe try downloading the root file again?? Just a thought... seems like its not installing superuser properly

Ok, that worked. I also ran it directly from CMD this time instead of clicking Start_Root.bat... Thanks.
same problem
I am having the same problem, I have tried it manually also but with the same results. It seems like the rage.bin loads properly because I get a reply stating so. It hangs up on the changing of permissions even when I try it manually, any thoughts? I did so the Verizon OTA and now when the phone reboots it tries to load some other verizon junk I was thinking maybe the .bat file is timing out can I change the delay in the file?
I posted this earlier, but in the wrong forum so lets try again. I loaded up the latest version of cm7 and a lot of apps like groupon, usaa, and others are missing and cannot be downloaded via appbrain or other markets. I have tried some "fix" file, clearing my cache, wiping my phone, downloading a market APK, and there is no fastboot. Help me out here guys, thanks.

You either didn't wipe something, flashed something you shouldn't have, or didn't flash something you should have.
First, take a backup via Nandroid and anything you must via Titanium Backup.
In recovery, wipe data, cache, and system (Amon_RA 2.3 and ClockworkMod 3 have the wipe system option, older recoveries will need a FORMAT_ALL.zip.
Next, flash CyanogenMod 7.0.2.1 followed by GApps 20110307.
Finally, boot up into CM, and add your Google account. Do not have it restore your data automatically. Open the Market, and see if you can find the apps.
I got them just fine...

Hi,
I have installed TWRP recovery on my OP5 and I have tried different versions of TWRP like official, blue spark etc. But when I boot into recovery and try to flash .zip file from internal storage it shows folders name like some hash code and these folders are empty.

Can someone please guide me on how to fix this issue, I am trying to flash Open Beta 2 OTA but due this I am unable to do so.
thanks
Decrypt data option
I was checking the "decrypt data" option inside the mount storage section of TWRP and once I checked it, this solved my problem. Now internal storage seems to be working fine.
Thanks.
That shows like that when your data is encrypted. Glad you got it working.
Wow!! I logged in to ask about the exact same problem. Even have a screenshot of the encrypted files. No need now. Your solution worked perfectly. Thanks!!
Hi I have flashed the latest OTA now all my files are encrypted when I select the SD card from TWRP.
How did you fix it exactly can you post a screen?
im trying to install a custom rom on my mi 9t. its not the first time that ive done this, but now its all gone wrong. I have unlocked the device, flashed twrp, and got the rom/gapps ready to go, but when i go to install it i get 2 errors, "E:unhandled flag: wrappedkey" and "E:unable to decrypt fbe device". and just to make things worse, i came to the brilliant conclusion that the errors were from the old rom interferring with the new one that i was trying to install, so i deleted the system partition and wiped my os.
feel free to call me as many names as you like, so long as you also provide some help aswell haha.
thanks guys

If you have twrp I stalled, then you just need to factory reset in recovery, format partition, flash dmverity, flash ROM and optionally root. There is nothing you could do wrong if you choose proper ROM for your device - each ROM has instruction what you need for it to work properly
Hi all, I am trying to get my Nothing update to 1.1.3, I did restore image in magisk -->(didn't press reboot), then download the OTA update --> (didn't press reboot as well), lastly I used the install to inactive slot(After OTA) --> (pressed reboot), so according to what I know my phone should now boot into partition A since I am currently in partition B. After reboot, I found my device is still in 1.1.2, my partition A is become unbootable. Anyone got an idea any approach I can do? Thankyou.

switch to partition that boots and do local update to 1.1.3
see how to install via Local System Update wizard
