Problems with /data partition - Solved!

I have a rooted stock ROM 32GB Transformer with CWM 3.1.0.1.
Last night I was trying to use Tapatalk when I kept getting FC's. I rebooted the tablet thinking nothing of it and when it came back up, everything was FC'ing. I tried a system wipe and get the following error.
When I connect with ADB, I start with "#" but cannot remove the offending file. I mounted data as read/write but do not have access at /data/system/dropbox
Does anyone have any ideas for me on how to clean this up?

***Update - I loaded stock recovery and performed a wipe there and I am back.

I believe there's a new version of CWM that you can install - maybe try that?

[Q] Cannot Purchase Apps In Market [Taboonay 2.2] [FIXED]

I'm running Taboonay 2.2 and I can't purchase new apps from the market. I can download free apps, and apps I've already purchased, but when I try to buy a new app I get the following error: "An error occurred. Please try again."
The problem only effects this tablet, not my phones nor the android web market.
I have tried wiping cache, clearing market data, uninstalling market updates, doing a fix permissions, formatting system and data and re-installing taboonay.
Is anyone else having problems? Anyone know of a solution?

I believe it is an older verision of the market.
You need to update to fix it.
search in Taboony's thread - there is a fix in there somewhere.
I had the same error on that one....All is good on thor's

I did a forum search through the thread but the only market issue I could fine relates to the market showing the phone version, and not the issue I have. My market is currently 3.4.4, which is the current version, and I have tried downgrading it multiple times.

Fixed by renaming /system/app/Vending.apk, and copied in a different version.

I always get this message when installing a ROM on my D805 (except the AOSP).
this message comes right back to the start of the initial configuration, and not leave it!
someone has gone through this?
OBS: can I install any ROM D802 I have this same message!

how do you go to stock rom, is it purely stock or custom?
try factory reset lol. will lose all data.
wipe the app that fc data\caches.
in recovery fix permisions, only if you have a recovery on phone. if you do have update it
on aosp its not there.
Do you do clean installs

The only one that actually helped me out is deleting the lg setup*.apk from the flashable zip.

Yes I always got this when installing a new rom on d802. was really annoying and i had to uninstall the setupwizard.apk and odex from system/app. i returned my phone to stock original then rerooted and installed blackpearl and this has gone away however.

Thank you, excluding LGStartupwizard.apk had worked to install the ROM.

Error installing superSu v.2.67

After installing the supersu v 2.67 zip file through twrp, i booted my device and opened the installed app. And the message attached appeared...
The device is note 4 N910 c running 6.0.1

Don't wipe dalvik and cache, if you wipe them you have to flash SuperSU again, and always use the latest build, which is 2.74 as of this moment.

I just flashed the v 2.67zip file with twrp and nothing else. (Did not touch any dalvik nor cache)
Can you let me have the link of the v 2.74 zip as I only find the app file.
Wonder which step was not right there...

I have also read that some bugs/leftovers from previous trials may prevent the app running correctly, and therefore I have to flash a kind of cleaner..
Can you please comment and advise??

NEVERMIND guys, already solved the matter; with reflashing a newer version of SuperSu, v. 2.71.

need help installing custom rom

im trying to install a custom rom on my mi 9t. its not the first time that ive done this, but now its all gone wrong. I have unlocked the device, flashed twrp, and got the rom/gapps ready to go, but when i go to install it i get 2 errors, "E:unhandled flag: wrappedkey" and "E:unable to decrypt fbe device". and just to make things worse, i came to the brilliant conclusion that the errors were from the old rom interferring with the new one that i was trying to install, so i deleted the system partition and wiped my os.
feel free to call me as many names as you like, so long as you also provide some help aswell haha.

If you have twrp I stalled, then you just need to factory reset in recovery, format partition, flash dmverity, flash ROM and optionally root. There is nothing you could do wrong if you choose proper ROM for your device - each ROM has instruction what you need for it to work properly
