What did you do right before it was dead?
Did you change the Radio?
Might be battery related too.
Try to find someone else with an HD2 and swap the battery to try.

You cant, you've bricked it. Only way is to JTAG or replace board as far as I know.

If you have flashed a EU/Asian Radio/stock ROM on a T-Mous device, than it's broken.

If you can get it into bootloader than it is not bricked. It sort of sounds like you might have a dead battery. Try to let it charge are maybe get an external charger for it.
Now as for your problem with installing a ROM you can flash either by USB and computer or via SD card. If you use the USB and computer method then out your phone into bootloader and connect it to the computer via USB cable and wait for Serial in the white bar of the bootloader screen to change to USB and then flash the ROM.
If you want to use the SD card method put your SD card into a micro SD card reader and plug it into your computer. If the ROM you downloaded is a .exe then change it to .zip and then right click and select viewl or explore wich ever one it shows. Find the .nbh file and rename it to leoimg.nbh and copy it to the SD card and insert the SD card into your phone. Put your phone into bootloader but hold the volume down button down until you see searching on your phone screen then release the volume down button. The ROM will then flash.

Check your battery pins in your HD2 to make sure that one or more of them are not slightly bend more than it should be. If none don't appear to be bend if possible compare them to another HD2 to make sure the are in the proper positions. If they are then you might have an internal hardware problem. But don't just take my word for thag cause I am no expert when it
comes to the hardware side of the HD2.
Edit: I just read your other post here is a link to the thread on flashing via SD card. Read the first post for detailed instructions on flashing via SD card
heey thanks man i'll try that as soon as i get from work and see if that helps!

Hello all, i need some help. I bought used HTC HD2, phone was old for about 2 weeks in perfect condition but he had 2.2 froyo installed on micro sd. Phone is not working fine and i dont like android to much so i want to have wm 6.5 as stock has too. I ha t mobile for operator but im almost positive that phone is bought in EU Pls help me to get off anroid and get the phone back to stock so i can have 6.5 wm os. I tryed everything im just not good enough with terms such as radio,SPL ect. so im noob at this. Pls help me somehow.Sorry for my bad english. Thank you
Hi there, I don't know fully how to do this myself (as I personally love android OS ) but I've found a couple of links that should help you out.
http://androidforums.com/htc-leo-hd...oid-2-2-reinstall-windows-mobile-6-5-3-a.html
http://www.jayceooi.com/2011/08/15/how-to-restore-stock-rom-on-htc-hd2-video/
The ROM is basically the 'operating system' the phone uses, a radio controls how its hardware connects to things and as for SPL I don't know either
If you didn't install android on it yourself you might need to install a couple of things on your PC - the links will tell you what you need. Good luck!

What kind of SD are U using? Leoimg-thingy is only working on SD's up to 4gb...larger SD's will not be recognized in tricolor loader.

Nah because you said your friend installed Froyo on the SD, I assumed it was a dual boot with WinMo. What's the OS on the NAND? WinMo, WP7 or Android? And as icke pointed out, you'll need a small SD. If you're lucky, your friend may have the original 2GB SD which came with the phone, so you could try again using that one instead.
If the smaller SD doesn't work, are you sure that you're doing everything correctly? You do have leoimg.nbh on the root of your SD card, right?

Hey guys,
I wanted to play around a little bit with Windows Phone 7 on my HTC HD2 but again encountered a problem with it.
The micro-usb-port of the phone isn't working for a long time now, but i never was needed to fix it (even though i tried ).
At the moment i have an old Android ICS Beta-ROM running on my device and also CLK...and there's were the problem is.
I have no clue how I now could get Windows Phone installed on my device without MAGLDR or how I could install MGLDR without my USB-port :S
It's not very important to get it running, but i want to have tried everything before I give up
So if you have any idea please share it with me...thanks in advance

I had the same problem (steadily disconnecting from my PC and saying "Unknown device")... And I was surprised to see that it only was the cable... try it with another cable before you send it in...
Hey I have MAGLDR already installed and I want to try Windows 7 but my usb port is broken...is it possible to go back to android afterwards?

I have a similar kind of problem, My phone does get detected on windows 8, but the DWI Bootlader WP7 rom package doesn't run.
I think it's a Win 8 bug.
I solved the problem by installing Windows Mobile!
Thanks

I've used it to do all of the above.
