The arc launcher that comes with gingerxperia keeps restarting especially in v19.
Also if i minimize an application, it will close by itself!!

Try turning on "Lock home in memory" option in Settings/Cyanogenmod Settings/Performance. It keeps lock home in memory all the time.
Yes, you can use SuperCharger as well (it works on X8 but not sure does it work on custom kernels). If you install it then enabling option that I have mentioned above is not needed.

hi guys..
i noticed sometimes when i am switching the apps by pressing X..the panel app crashes and it asks for sending error report.
what could be the problem causing the apps to crash?
its sickening because restart the phone is the only solution to start the panel feature again
could you be a little more specific on that? like provide us a background on what rom and some programs that u have installed. Some of them might be conflicting
i m using the stock rom that came with the phone..i noticed using facebook panel causes issues such as phone to freeze..and panels to crash.
is there a way to restart panel app without soft resetting the phone?
Maybe you should update your phone to the current ROM and see if it still freezes.
had the same problem myself. i was using tf3d on today screen. den i instaled tf3d panal manager and all was good...
now i use custom rom with tf3d built in, so don hav the problem no more...

there is about a 5 second delay that you have to wait before trying to wake it again. Also be aware that the display widget can turn the screen completely off. while the device is still active so you wont see it on even though its on.

I can only see a black screen :-(

i had exactly the same issue and after a lot of tentative i understand that the screen was off but the phone is unlocked with the screen luminosity at minimun. So if you remember where is the luminosity control (i had on the home screen lucky), you can reactivate the normal screen.
first thing i had done was uninstalling this app...
unfortunatly, after some reboot (to use wm), the issue reappeared and this time i was unable to get normal screen and i had to delete my android folder and get a new one..
a very disappointing experience with this app.

adb shell echo 100 > /sys/class/leds/lcd-backlight/brightness
That will do the trick. You will still need to update the brightness in the settings then.

i'm using cm7 white rabbit on my defy+ and i always had problems with 3g supercharger script.. i hoped the new version would solve my problem but it didn't..
actually i don't really need it, but i'd like to make it work properly on my defy..
so my problem:
i install the script (1. quick) and then reboot. after the reboot my notifications toggle doesn't work anymore (i had the same problem using nitro lag nullifier..)
when i "click" on a toggle, it works but it doesn't change colour.. (e.g. i have screen timeout toggle set to 15/30/1, but when i press on it, the colour doesn't change and even the message is always the same... "screen timeout set to 15")..
it pretty wired isn't it??
any solution? just don't use 3g supercharge?

Sorry for bringing this up again, but I've also been looking all over for a solution. I'm not sure whether it's the 3G supercharger or the Nitro-Lag-Nulifier that is causing the problem (or maybe KAK? don't think so..). I'm sure there is a solution somewhere... or if you could at least point me to the cause so i will know not to use the specific script...
I tried using only some of them again and again, but since this bug is not permanent(it comes and goes) I can't point my finger at it. Anyone?

I hope there is a way to disable the function of lockbutton
i dont know about stock rom but many custom roms have this setting... hyperion, lenox, cm, many... try once

I found this very annoying problem with my LG G6 when I use an alternative launcher and I activate the gesture double tap to lock screen the phone show me a message with write that this option is not allowed !
Nova launcher have a smart solutions like turn the stand by at 5 sec after the double tap ...it's work but not best solution in addition not all launcher have this options...
LG G6 have in stock the options double tap to awake/sleep ... Why launcher can't works with this ?
I really want fix this annoying problem I hope without root ...

I wish I could, but I've never had this problem - I've used Nova for a few years, starting on my G4 and it has always just allowed the double tap function, and no different on my G6.
I'd start though by going into the Phone Settings screen > Fingerprints and Security > Phone Administrators and enabling Nova Launcher as admin. If that doesn't work, I'm out of ideas.
I tried your solution but now there's another kind of problem if I activate permission I can't unlock the phone with the sensor finger print ! It's unlock only with pin
Do you have the same ?
Do you use free or paid version of Nova Launcher?
I use the pay version but I have the same problem with all alternative launcher tsf shell for example...
I'm really the only one ?

Are you sure it isn't just asking you to unlock with a PIN for the first time?
I found this post, don't know if it will work not using Nova right now Quote: Go to gestures and click double tap to lockscreen and then choose root. It does work. If your having problems or dont have root, choose to set it as an administrator.
I already set like an administrator but it doesn't work ...

No it ask me everytime I lock with double tap
I found another strange thing .... When I lock phone with double tap on status bar all works perfectly..when I lock it doing double tap in other point of screen it doesn't work ...
Only remaining ideas I have then are to clear the data and the cache of Nova, then uninstall it (as well as any other Nova related apps you have like Tesla, Nova Prime etc). Reboot the phone, then reinstall Nova from the Play Store, then (if you have it) reinstall Nova Prime from the Play Store too.
Press the Home button (circle on the bottom of the screen) and when it asks you which launcher you want to use, select Nova and open it to then go through all the settings. Make sure you allow any permissions it asks for, and follow through with the set up. Then, once that's all done, make sure you make Nova an administrator as per my earlier post.
Hopefully that'll work!

I read on the web that this annoying problem it's made because a security level introduced nougat that not allow to app to lock the screen ...

Give a try to cm launcher and lockscreen. They provide better lockscreen and more customizations.
