[SOLVED] T-Mobile RAIDO and RLI

I need a T-Mobile RAIDO and RLI as the ones im using now are just not working and i cant get a signal

What ROM are you using?
The set up in my sig works perfectly. If you're using a sense based ROM then you will need the HM equivalent RIL.
But then I've tried 3 radio's and all were ok, the current one marginally better but you'd really be hard pressed to notice.

but i had the issue before i installed that rom.
I had this problem after i debranded and downgraded the rom.
Ill try and install the radio you are using if i can find the files

RIL_12.54.60.25_26.09.04.11_M2
With the

Can you link me to the IRL and radio you are using so i know i have ones that work?
Im gonna try some different roms and see if that sorts it

I just installed LeeDrOiD HD V3.0.1 ROM and ive now got a connection to tmobile.. thank god for that! was begining to think id killed it

You are using the same Radio.
The RIL I have is no good to you as you have a ROM with Sense and I have an AOSP ROM but it looks like you have the right combination already.
If you want to try an AOSP or sense free ROM then the RIL link is at...

RIL's ending in HM are for Sense only (as a rule).
RIL's ending in G are for Sense free / AOSP ROMs.
NB If using a Sense based ROM that has had the Sense Apps and widgets removed I'd still use the HM RIL's.

You need to click on "Go Advanced" but if it doesn't work don't fret.
One thing I will say about the latest Radio (and it is just rambling) is that it seems to resort to 2g rather than use a poor 3g / HSDPA signal occasionally. Could just be location or I just never noticed (I have checked to make sure it set to "WCDMA preferred").
Not really an issue as the only place I noticed this is at home and 99% of the time it connects immediately to wifi.

Ah i see. got it.
I have wifi on at home and ive not been out with it yet so i dont know how the 3G is.
Ill be out tomorrow and will see what is dose.

It works, but GPU accelaration isn't working, along with camera/Wifi/BT like said in the first post.
With some work, this could be interesting.

Following Thread. Hoping for a more stable release, since we can't exactly provide feedback since developer is not an XDA member.

I have upload a "little" record of this ROM running on my u8800. I think this rom has maked to u8800pro, but runs on u8800. I tell this because in Setting section, in "CyanogenMod version", is written "10-20121015-UNNOFICIAL-u8800pro", i'm not sure... :\

Yeah but thats an easy fix, just change that in build.prop

This one seems to work ok but even though network seems to be working, mobile data is not, so no Internet connection whatsoever... :crying:

Fixing radio problems on your JB rom on i9000

Hi, my name is Steven
I run C-Rom's JB on my SGS I9000 and loving it.
There's just 1 little problem with all the JB roms i've flashed
There is no way to get a fm radio working (not a radio via stream but via my fm thing in the phone + earphones)
I've been looking every where for a stock jb radio apk or something like that.
I tried the SpiritFM radio, but it didn't work (no sound or anything)
THEN, i found something on a forum.
It said that you have to go to kernel app, in this case semaphore.apk
scroll down and check the box of "Radio FM - load radio FM (si 4709)
After having done that, the spiritfm radio still didn't work.
Ok so far, no progress.
I went trying stuff to get it working and i got it.
Here's what you do
- Open SpiritFM radio
- Push the option button on your phone (you'll get a pop-up menu)
- Go to "Setting"
- Go to Band, and select your country (or continent or w/e)
- Go back to "Setting"
- Go to "Debug
- Go to "FM Chip"
- Select your chip (instead of automatic)
------- If you don't know your chip, just try EVERYTHING (restart app after changing Chip)
------- Mine was "Sam SiLabs (Gal S+)"
And SJABANG!! you have radio.
(At least... I did)
Now.. i do not know if the semaphore setting change has anything to do with the radio working, but it won't kill you to try
I hope this will help people with the same problem.
I have included "semaphore.apk" and "SpiritFM radio unlocked"
I wanted to add a link but i'll just add the file instead (xda wont let me do a link yet)

It really works! It's great!
The only thing I've changed in settings is the "Band" according to area where I use it. Also it needs to have superuser permission granted.
It's the only FM app I've seen yet working on CM10.0 :thumbup:

Could install the FM radio in KOREA version

Hi all,
I copy the FM radio APK from the G2 (HongKong version) to the G2 (KOREA version) and install it , but it fail.
Anybody could tell me how to do it ?

do you know the radio chip?

It won't work. The Korean version has not enabled the FM hardware, possibly in exchange for the Korean DMB TV Tuner.

it should be compile the FM.apk in the rom, I think. I tried instll the apk, it show can't install but not work. So, I think the FM could work in KOREA version

[Q] Calls and graphics problem

Hello,
it's my first post here, my English is regular so i think you will understand me
I'm using Reincarnation Rom based on CM 7.2 and percy_g2's [email protected]#2 kernel.
There are my problems:
1. I can call people, but nobody can call me. They are hearing normal signal but i don't even see they called.
2. When SIM card is put to the phone, i've got that black curtain after entering PIN(in attachment) or sometimes i see 4 parts of desktop but in bad places.
I hope that anyone knows why these things are happening.

1. which version r u using ?? make sure it is the updated version !! the older version may have some bugs of calling !!
2. all i can see in attachment is the pattern lock screen !! nothing else !! so please say clearly what is the problem..

1. Version of caller app or what? If Rom&Kernel im using newest versions.
2. It's a gif, you need to open it to see.

They r hard to b fixed ... so i wud suggest u to change the rom ..... Try Hyperion ....Its stable fast and bug free

I've had Hyperion, it's a cool ROM with some good features but i like to have polish language.
Anyway, i reinstalled stock firmware, installed percy's kernel and PureKat v2 ROM and everything is working perfectly, thread to close.
EDIT: Tried installing CM7 a few minutes ago and it's also working perfectly, so reinstalling stock rom and then flashing CM7 is the solution.
