Miui problem? Evo helpppp

So for some reason the latest time i flashed back to this rom my Home Button is non responsive? Has anyone had this problem any tips i cant seem to get this fixed =/
Also my lockscreen is non existent? is there some settings i missed im sorta new to MIUI so please any input would help....

Haven't ran miui, but I would check to make sure it wasn't disable by any kind of setting, or reflash the rom.

You should go to the MIUI thread (in the Evo Development sub forum) and ask there.

Well then wipe wipe wipe wipe. Wipe everything (data, caches, dalvik, etc). Then reflash the rom and see if that fixed your problem(s).

That was my first thing to try and i've been on the boot screen for a good 5-10mins now =/ Any suggestions?

Are you flashing the latest version of MIUI? Or restoring an old backup?

It's the latest version but it's also a back up...

Try wiping and flashing the latest version from scratch. If it boots, and the home button / lockscreen work, then you know that it's a problem with your backup

Strange problem with Market after installing any custom rom

Well guys im facing a strange problem after flashing any of the custom rom im not able to download any app form market . but in Leomars75's rom after changing the default theme from the kitchen app im able to download the apps from the market . what could be the reason n the solution to this problem ?
Also i have tried clearing cache n data but it doesn't help ..
Can anybody help ?

Not much experience with the sgs2 but have you tried getting sgs tools/toolbox with working market set up then switch to the one you're having problems with and use the market fix?
You may want to look around some more and see if you can find out the extent of sgs tools/toolbox compatability with the sgs2, it should work no problem but I don't want it causing more issues for you.

What is the exact error you are getting when installing from Market fails? Does the app download fine then fail during the installation part?
Have you checked logcat logs for errors when your installation fails?
I used to have problems installing from market, this was on a different android phone before. Turns out that a temporary file in .android_secure folder was present and needed to be deleted.
If your problem is similar to my situation before, then the following links may help you:

Maybe your problem is related to the new market , I had the same just after flashing Litening or CheckRom .
I resolved the problem by installing the old market ( which i found to be smoother but it's personnal preference I think ) .
And it can also be because of SIM issuer code of your country , you can resolve this by trying other code via Market Enabler ( available on the market ^^ ) .
I had some networks drop while using market but that was because fast dormancy was enabled ( obviously my country doesn't support it ) .

ohh thnx mate i think the problem is with the google talk as i need to log in into it but when i try to open that app it gets fc

hey bro thnx for the post but my problem is related to google talk .. to download app from market i need to log into the gtalk but the app is fcing ... do u have a working gtalk apk ?

Edit: not sure if you tried yet but have you simply tried clearing app data and cache in the settings menu under applications for gtalk and market both then trying them again?

which 1 should i download and how to install ?

If you want completely stock, but rooted, get the rooted one, otherwise get the non rooted one.
Install it the same way you installed CM7, flash the zip through the recovery.

Yes, the rooted one is exactly the same as stock, except it has the added benefit of allowing superuser access to apps that require it.

Install it exactly how you installed CM7.
But yes, I never used it, but you should be able it install it using Rom Manager

Only flash stock sense froyo rom like rempuzle or kwbr.

I have no idea what gapps you're referring to - I know of a "market updater 3-0-27" - for gapps/Gingerbread you should be good to go with "gapps-gb-20120406-237-signed" or "gapps-gb-20110828-signed"

remember that you have to flash them via recovery. I'd also suggest to wipe cache and dalvik-cache

i installed it and it's working fine but when i tried installing facebook or whatsapp it showing "downloading cannot complete due to error"

hi mauro thank you, before this i tried the new pika b930 1.0.3 but it rly sucks D: cant even start it, stuck on bootanimation for very long time all times, ui system always crash, cant use it at all, rly, dont know if its cos smth went bad in the installation, uh and only 2 langs, but then i tried yours and all went for the best thank you
a question if i can, if i set the density back to 200, will some apps in the market be not compatible anymore? (is for that you changed back to 240 right?!)

for pika 1.0.3 you have to install it over the 1.0.1 without any wipe
it works then

Temple Run not running in this ROM. anyone facing the same problem.

Tried this rom for some hours.
I went back to b928 because is more fluid, but everything was working.
I didn't tried tvout.

I think it's only a Mauro's bluff! I can hear only audio, but that's the same behaviour of all other roms! (I didn't try Horse, I'll never return to Froyo!) so I think return with Frozen Pika...

oh i try with music, but i think this is a problem of gallery but if you go to app installated you look tv-out

Backup everything starting from your contacts and do a wipe

I have "Rom Switcher" this app can makes your phone have app to 4 Roms
And try to update OTA, if the problem didnt gone, download the latest cm and flash it via Recovery after wiping data & cache

Is updating OTA is dangerous to the device? is it deleting data like instlling the rom by Recovery (wiping)?

And if are afraid of anything just download the update and move it to the sdcard then flash it via Recovery

I try to update it now.I have downloaded it OTA and it asking me to install the update by recovery (it will reboot to recovery mode).
if something happens and the device doesnt work could you help me?

nothing happend. i will try to wipe it tommorow. dont you have this problem on your cm11 rom? the device says WPS FAILED.

Idont have any problems with cm11, but I didnt try the wps function.
The problem on your cm11 is the whole wifi or just wps?

The nightly on cm site are official -_-
Though nighly are not stable.
