Well guys im facing a strange problem after flashing any of the custom rom im not able to download any app form market . but in Leomars75's rom after changing the default theme from the kitchen app im able to download the apps from the market . what could be the reason n the solution to this problem ?
Also i have tried clearing cache n data but it doesn't help ..
Can anybody help ?
Not much experience with the sgs2 but have you tried getting sgs tools/toolbox with working market set up then switch to the one you're having problems with and use the market fix?
You may want to look around some more and see if you can find out the extent of sgs tools/toolbox compatability with the sgs2, it should work no problem but I don't want it causing more issues for you.

What is the exact error you are getting when installing from Market fails? Does the app download fine then fail during the installation part?
Have you checked logcat logs for errors when your installation fails?
I used to have problems installing from market, this was on a different android phone before. Turns out that a temporary file in .android_secure folder was present and needed to be deleted.

Edit: not sure if you tried yet but have you simply tried clearing app data and cache in the settings menu under applications for gtalk and market both then trying them again?

I've just rooted ad installed cyanogen mod 6.1.1 on my wife's phone. So far everything works perfectly except that I cannot install anything from the market place.

Which kernel do you use?
Try other aviable kernels- some have problems with native AppsOnSd.
For sure FrozenLake kernel wirks good (download on samdroid.net), Xmister's had problems with this. Can't say how other behave- I didn't test them.

If you are still looking for the keyboard, go on to the forum post and scroll until you get past the whole changelog then it says old versions. I think it's v.3, says next to it that it supports spica.

Which version of rom you're using?
Did you wipe everything before installation???
The last one (ROMs based on the latest Desire HD Sense 3.0 platform (GB 2.3.5)(Energy_XX.XX.2011.HD2.EU.SDEXT.zip or TMOUS)) and yes I did WIPE everything before installation but when it asked me to choose SWAP ram i chose 0 might be that the problem or is unrelevant with the camera?

I haven't this problem with the last version. I dont think this is a rom problem. Try to restart 2-3 times and fix permissions. If that doesn't work reinstall the rom.

which kernel are you using ?
I am using MAGLDR1.13 I think it says 1 Feb 2011 or something.

Try to reinstall the rom. Wipe all and reinstall from Magldr to the end ...
... if that doesn't work we gonna ask NRGZ28

Well i tried everything so far and I re-INSTALLED the default ROM from the official site of HTC but the problem is still there, it must be a hardware problem but dunno why it looks like a THERMAL mode could be something from the settings?

If you want completely stock, but rooted, get the rooted one, otherwise get the non rooted one.
Install it the same way you installed CM7, flash the zip through the recovery.

Yes, the rooted one is exactly the same as stock, except it has the added benefit of allowing superuser access to apps that require it.

Install it exactly how you installed CM7.
But yes, I never used it, but you should be able it install it using Rom Manager
Only flash stock sense froyo rom like rempuzle or kwbr.

I have no idea what gapps you're referring to - I know of a "market updater 3-0-27" - for gapps/Gingerbread you should be good to go with "gapps-gb-20120406-237-signed" or "gapps-gb-20110828-signed"

But it has occurred errors while using rare camera and can not see the Storage option from settings. Are you using cm10 build 4 from get.cm? I'm using that one and I use angel camera for rear camera to work..

rare camera still not working, Everybody have that issue but u can try installing 3rd party camera apps that might work for you..
for video files mine work well in MX video player. try installing that..
storage option meaning external sdcard or internal card.. or both.. it work both in humberos build with card patch.
try reading in the development thread. it will help u alot..

Hi, why don't you try CM9.1? It's a pretty solid build IMO, the rear camera works, just don't tap and hold to focus or it will crash. Regarding browser issue, try to use Maxthon or Dolphin browser, i personally use them.

Is there some reason the keyboard is missing from this install? What is present on the system looks and feels great, but I can't get this thing on my wifi network or even log in to Google services without a keyboard.

I have just installed the SAPIR CM10 KANG nightly build dated 6th Sept.
As above the rear camera crashes and if you mess about with the keyboard settings from the pull down menu it crashes too.
Other than that, so far, it is very very good. I don't know about battery life yet.
I tried the CM 10 Unofficial erezak ROM dated 3rd Sept but it would only do voice input, no option for keyboard.
The SAPIR build with Apex Launcher is running very well.
It didn't rebuild my apps and data, I came from AOKP build 38 pre MTD.
When I initially installed the erezak ROM and it updated CWM it went into a bootloop. Hard reset. Boot into Recovery and start again sorted it out. It took two full wipes and installs to get over another endless boot situation. It was the same with the SAPIR build too.
All in all I'm very excited to have a JB device to play with. My i9300 is begging to be updated but I don't really want to install CM or a leaked build just yet....

You should get the Sept 11 build of ezerak, camera is fully functional now, no crashes whatsoever... Regarding keyboard from pull down menu, never had any problem with it. I use SwiftKey 3, hacker keyboard, IDE keyboard.

IMEI has nothing to do with mobile network connection. Are you referring to data connection or voice/sms?

I had this problem, I spent hours trying to get a working modem.bin file, re-downloading ROMS and applying with no success, turns out my pay as you go tarrif for the month had ran out.... d'oh! 5 mins online topping up my account fixed it. Did I feel stupid, you bet I did.
So if your Pay and Go tarrif, go check, for piece of mind.

I had installed this rom 2-3 times, and every time when i try to recieve calls, the speakers won't give the voice (don't know why) i mean the speakers are working fine but the main problem is in the rom i guess, its a bug.
I didn't got to know how to flash gapps perfectly without "unfortunately......" error? I had flashed nano gapps 6.0 but :cyclops: :silly: :silly:

Some had trouble downloading it from Baidu.thus I posted a temporary direct link.and the only bugs I faced were the signal not showing correctly which is annoying but doesn't matter at all and copy paste(I guess (guess)it'll work if we used a third party app!after clicking on a link in Chrome and pressing share and choosing a note app it worked so it could easily be fixed by being a little bit creative)Google play and aptoide work correctly but u need to install an installer app and the rom is smooth.all my apps working with no force close except instagram that I sometimes get a force closed but it's the modded version so I wonder if it's because of that but it's not frequent.in altogether it's a fairly stable testing version.

As i said previously that if i flash gapps nano after installing rom into twrp and then restart, i face tons of force close
However, after that, every time the google play sevices has stopped error comes in front of me !!
Signals are coming, but when i receive calls , i cannot hear anything from speaker nor my voice reaches the other person... Thats the major issue

new update didn't download in adm browser , currently i am using old version with some bugs , did anybody give alternate link.
download and install the latest version but still have the call issues , lock screen pattern problem , data not working in roaming condition even roaming allowed , still network manualy select problem , internal memory goes around 1gb , currently i am using bliss rom , compared to all other roms mokee rom is best for me .

About rom.....
Every thing seems to be okay but some issues with root ...
no sim card is also can be fixed.
there is no play store also.
rom is totally china-based
