Another? Thats happens because there are no official thread about this.
Greattings
A very quick read through the nightly thread would have revealed the answer. Hardly needs its own thread because the build bot is broken.

Trigger happy.
It's only a NIGHTLY, not a GA.
Y'all can do the beta testing on my behalf,
but I'm gunning for the stable release.

And there is another one in q&a, as far as I know. So this thread is kind of pointless. There are some things not working yet, since it is only a nightly. Those are mentioned in the second post.

I know that story, used this kernel up to 3.0.0 what I mean is that it's tricky to get this kernel since there's no official thread. Just believe that this new version is somewhere and someone is even using it.

Yeah I linked it in the rumors and news thread. I still like individual threads though just in case something didn't get posted in the OP and get lost in the thread.
Do y'all think it might be possible to port some of these features since its still 2.3?
or should we wait for our version?

Uhhh, I can't say. The Value Pack is Gingerbread based, even more so it's Gingerbread, it's not impossible, I don't think it is in any way shape or form and it's all things on the Rom side, not on the kernel side as far as I'm aware.

Hey everyone. I stumbled across a scrolling cache mod the other day and just got around to modding my phone. I'm running CM nightly 35 and it works great. This seems to have eliminated any remaining lag I was experiencing on my phone with no o/c. Here's the link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1411317
Also it appears that the link to the smali/baksmali tool is broken so here it is:
https://rapidshare.com/files/3133579762/baskmali.rar
How does this compare to the smooth scrolling mod for CM9?

I haven't given CM9 a try yet so I can't comment on that. However, Biggoron stated it's basically the same thing.
It literally is the same exact thing earthbound found that the scroll lag was because cm7 left out the higher scrolling cache he thought he came up with it and then the guy or the OP of the link came in and asked that he be given some credit if you look you'll see he thanks the OP for the mod
