Does anyone know why the profile pictures are so low Res? Especially on cyanogen mod builds and stock android builds, sense ones have higher Res pics. Any way to fix it?

yeah, i was just thinking about the same thing. anyway, i don't know what is the casue, but if you use photos from facebook for htc sense, they high res
Yeah definately. I just wish it was the same for stock or cm builds. The low Res pics make my phone look like a dumbphone, not a smart phone

Just got this app from the market place. GREAT app that lets you place a CPU monitor anywhere on your screen. Highly customizable: colors, pixels, fonts, etc. I placed mine on the bottom of the screen (portrait) and changed the colors to blue theme to match my homescreen and made the background transparent. With this app you can see how hard your CPU works over time and can see how open apps effects your battery usage, It cost $2 but worth it. Runs perfect on the Atrix. The screenshots don't do the app justice. I wish the dev would make a similar app that does a spectrum analyzer.
Old news I already posted this type of app cpustautus search it

When my phone rings from a call, and i connect the hands-free plug so i can listen better, the goddamn phone hangs and denies the call!!! And i gotta wait for the person to call me again... wtf!! Im expecting the phone not hanging the call and let me use my connected accesories as i please...
Even my ooold nokia 5800 could easily do that, and my xperia arc can't? wth..
Also, i'd like more desktops, with the stock rom [so please dont start suggesting mods and the like], 5 desktops are not enough.
Camera button to control music when the screen is off.
The percentage of the battery inside the battery icon in the notification bar.
Independent battery widget.
Removing the Sony Ericsson synchronise service since it's no longer useable.

But surely that's the point of having an Android phone. The manufacturer supplies a base spec then the user can add to it with apps and modifications.
What about XDA premium you posted from, surely that's bought and installed?
Music control in the lock screen works really well with Poweramp.
Keith
Lol dude all the companies provide that for their users beside I love the Sony Ericsson player and I hate AMP , one more thing I don't buy applications I always get it all for free like the xda here.

Hope they keep the SE UI and reduce JPEG compression for even more awesome pics.

Accordingly to a a thread opened on Xperia Neo (V)/ Pro SE forum, a QuickDial (T9 entry for contacts parsing, "Sense contacts-Like") feature will be implemented in ICS upgrade. So ARC will benefit too.
Beside that, an overall improved calendar widget and app could be a plus. Moxier is not a big deal, easily removable, but will be even more useless under ICS.
ATRAC support...

Why do you post a new thread, if there already is a similar thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1348978
fix all the fails , lose signal , reboot , etc , and more fast .
- speed dial (like HTC's)
- scrolling notification toggles in the status bar
- music controls in the lock screen
I'm not asking the moon i think

You should start buying the apps you use to support development.
And Android is all about apps.
You can customise your phone to the fullest by finding the right apps for you.
SE and all other companies provide the minimal amount of apps to keep the phone running, the rest is up to you.
You can't expect from a firmware to include apps tailored to your needs because simply your needs are not the general rule.
Lower jpeg-compression and higher bitrate for videos!!!
And maybe a more flexible/adjustable lockscreen!

I'm using the Darkside Sense 3.5 Rom and everything just seems a little too big. Is there a way to make the screen resolution higher so that it so the icons don't look so clunky?

but if u change the density some apps will look to small or off set like the camera app and the all app drawer will not cover the whole screen . u should try the black ice port if u want a smaller cleaner look with out these problems . but be advised the market will remove a lot of apps regardless .
with sense i usually go with a density of 180, but some apps will be a lil off, and not aligned, but if you want, try a aosp rom and use density app. you will have a way cleaner look.
OK, so I want to use pictures I've taken (or downloaded for that matter) to set as my homes screen wallpaper WITHOUT cropping the picture (or without significantly cropping it)?
Right now when I try and set a picture from my gallery using the TW gallery it forces me to crop it, AND it forces me to crop it in PORTRAIT mode only...when I scroll (using Nova launcher, scrollable wallpaper enabled) it scrolls and shows black bars. So I downloaded and installed the .apk for the stock gallery, which was slightly better as it allowed me to crop in landscape mode, giving me more of the picture.
But, get this...if I'm using KIES Air and looking at the pictures and choose one to set for the wallpaper it automatically adds it, no cropping, full screen...What gives?
tl;dr
I want to use pictures from my gallery for wallpaper, without cropping (full screen), without KIES Air, and to be scrollable.
Thanks dudes.

Gr. Thanks for the tip.
Really was hoping to not need to install another app...not that I don't have the room (ha!), but that's just annoying that I have to. I assume, since the 'issue' persists with the stock launcher that this is an ICS thing?
Have you tried 'scrolling wallpaper' app from market. Its basically a LWP that lets you set any picture you want as a scrollable wall paper. You don't have to crop anything.
