Does it work on I9100?
Envoyé depuis mon GT-I9100 utilisant Tapatalk
Nope, this is the chineese version. Doesn't work on the EU version.
I think the ROM is Japanese, I flashed the Modem and it's working well.
Will try the full ROM tonight.

so you have a japanese sc-02 ?
and which modem does the package have?
Sc02comkl1
Note that SC-02C has a different partition layout (and may require repartitioning)
FACTORYFS is 100MB larger than I9100 and HIDDEN is 100MB smaller.
Also be aware that build numbers for OM/DCM are totally different than other regions (an OM*** build may have different patches and even be a different android release than an XX*** with the same date code).
After reading Japanese ROM properties, it seems that they don't include FM radio so it's a no go for me.
But the modem seems to be a keeper since, it performs better than KI3 modem used on the KK5 official ROM
Do you try to test your data connection on Bouygues telecom network and see how its performs?
"As tu essayé de tester la vitesse de ton internet mobile?"
Je n'ai que 2Mb en descendant et 1.10Mb en montant (testé avec speedtest)

I never had great performances with Bouygues but it's ok for me.
With this modem, I get 1.8 down and 1.2 Up, 80 ms ping, but the best part is that it's stable for skype and voip (csipsimple)
Tu montes à combien?

That's because there is no radio hardware in the SC-02C. The space on the board is used by the digital TV tuner.

That's cool, so how does digital TV performs? is it free ?
We don't have mobile digital TV in France. You have to pay to have tv through your 3g connection.

Its basically OK as long as you're not inside a concrete/steel building or underground. It just duplicates the free over-the-air channels, but the bandwidth of the signal is only 25% of a SD or 8% of an HD broadcast. (Each TV channel in japan is broken down into 13 segments, 12 of which are used to deliver either 1 HD or up to 3 SD subchannels and the last one is used for mobile "one-seg" broadcasting)
Agreed the modem is a keeper, preforms very well in the USA on at&t Mobility!
Dan
Gonna have a try
Thanks for sharing. Updated!~

which languages are supported?
I updated and had force closes with Gmail and Titanium Backup. I solved both problems by installing again. For Titanium backup I had to remove the patch using lucky patcher and repatch.
Everything else so far seems the same. I think google maps has been updated to 6.5 by default because it didn't overwrite my themed version to version 6.0.3 like previous ROMS.

New power off image from LPS.
Go Launcher and Smart Keyboard Pro crashed immediately after boot and won't start - first time that's happened on an ICS install for me.
About to do CWM and try Dalvik clear.
9.16pm: CWM v5.4/LP7 worked, cleared Dalvik & cache. Rebooted. Now have to wait for "Android is upgrading" message again..
9.22pm: Not liking this. Gmail, Docs, Go Launcher, Smart Keyboard all crashing on startup making it freeze before I can access anything. Haven't successfully got anywhere yet.
9.33pm: It comes with Market, not Play. Uninstalled Titanium Backup and reinstalled, which worked. Scrolling is very strange...
Root is also working!
Not letting me upload them to here

This Firmware is stock and does not increase the custom binary counter.
It is not rooted.
It will not delete anything if you flash it over stock GB or ICS firmwares (it's non-wipe).
You can safely upgrade from your existing samsung firmware using this version.

Mobile Odin won't increase the binary counter.
Only flashing insecure kernels (such as CF-Root) with Odin will increase the counter.
But on ICS, you can use TriangleAway app from Chainfire to remove the yellow triangle and reset the counter.
So, no reason to be worried !

Did other language firmware got FOTA update yet? or remain in the kies update level?
Updated to ZSLPG over kies today. can confirm this is much more responsive. better battery life, mainly under heavy use. so far wi-fi enable/disable issue and sleep of death haven't come back.
have an imported phone that came with HK firmware, was close to just installing a custom rom it after frustration with ZSLPE.

I flashed this ROM but I have following 2 issues:
screen touch is not working for 2 seconds after turning on from sleep
call reception is very poor when I'm on GSM network (call reception is fine on GSM/WCDMA)
Now I'm going to install XWLP7.
Wifi issue still there

brick bug?
Any news about this rom? stable ? what is this csc ? is it multicsc or what? i could find anything on google about it.
I just flashed this. Nothing new... No functions for Note's new rom.
it's just 20 mb update, no revolution.
Hello, is it just me or does 4.0.4 use a larger font size in menus? Attached is a screenshot from Titanium Backup but the larger menu can also be seen in other apps.
I did a factory reset after install.

Yep. I noticed that too. I'm on XWLPU and we have the same larger menu font size...
Direct & High-Speed link for XWLPX:

Valid for 7 days
But no JKay framework for it. I'll have to wait...
Swyped from Outer Space
NeatROM 3.3 is very good XWLPX.
Secure and with many mods.

Hello everybody,
I would want to root my Erisin 8160CG head unit.
My first reflex was to try standalone (apk) "one click" rooters, but no success.
So I think that using USB is almost mandatory for that purpose, but as many other head units there are only USB-A ports and I didn't find any option to turn theses ports from host to devices. However I haven't try yet as I haven't male-male USB A cable (I just ordered it on Amazon)
I think that theses "one click" rooters' success will be limited, but who knows...
My last chance would be to use ADB and a custom rom. For that I saw that there's an option to activate ADB over Wifi on port 5555 (I'll post a screenshot here).
The question is: did somebody here ever rooted this kind of head unit?
As reminder, here my hu's features:

Ho god,
the Android's version is fake :
Hello to all,
I wrote to Erisin to ask them if they can furnish me the "good" firmware...
And they did it
They send me a link to Google drive...
Are you interested ?
I don't try to flash it yet....
Hello everybody,
So I looked metdata file inside "kupdate.zip" (in folder /META-INF/com/android/):
Code:
ota-property-files=metadata:69:356
ota-required-cache=0
ota-type=BLOCK
post-build=rockchip/rk3368_Android10/rk3368_Android10:10/QQ2A.200305.004.A1/eng.ken.20221214.150224:userdebug/test-keys
post-build-incremental=eng.ken.20221214.150224
post-sdk-level=29
post-security-patch-level=2020-05-05
post-timestamp=1671085261
pre-device=rk3368_Android10
What do you think of that ?
Thanks a lot in advance.
That "post-timestamp" translates to Thursday, December 15, 2022 6:21:01 AM

No, I was just wondering, so I checked that and mentioned it.
And then I realized that the fingerprint was about the same date anyway.
So, it's all a month old.
Ok, thanks a lot for your precision.
So, I looked in the head unit parameters. I found something related to Android upgrade at boot. I suppose that's related to unlocked bootloader ? Can you confirm that ?
Unfortunately, it is password protected. I wrote to Erisin if they can provide me the code...
Thanks a lot in advance.
Hello,
so I tried to update my head unit with the "kupdate.zip" they gave me...
First I wanted to veryfy if I can connect with ADB though each USB-A socket: can't connect, isn't detected by my laptop
I discovered a mini USB socket behind a cap, next to the screen: as above.
I unziped the kupdate.zip on a blank µSD, then insterted it on each slot (there are two, each next to the screen), then rebooted: nothing happened.
Erisin don't want to tell me the "reboot for android upgrade" password.
So this a crap.
Really annoying
Nice !
I found the password
I tried 1234, 8888 and finally 0000 and that was it
So, what kind of bootloader is this ?
Hello,
so to sumarize:
I tried ADB and fastboot at bootloader on each USB-A socket: the devices isn't detected by the PC
I tried ADB and fastboot at bootloader on the front micro usb socket: the devices isn't detected by the PC
I tried the kupdate.zip they gave me on the two sd slot, with an usb stick on each usb port, with "MCU mise à jour" button (see #8), at bootloader : it gives "signature verification failed".
It really annoy me !
Somebody can help me ?
So,
I tied to follow these steps to see if I can enable "USB debugging",
as I can I do ADB though Wifi.
I looked into the build.prop:
Code:

Maybe my subject isn't interesting ? Who know ?
But I'm very annoyed with this problem. I just can't believe there isn't a solution.
