It's not properly CyanogenMod, but it's Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) for the G1, and CM is buit-based on something like this (an AOSP source code from official android.com website).

Just wondering if any of the ROMS that have been built for the MyTouch 4g are based off of 2.2. Or am I just that much of a noob?
Thanks in advance!
other than CM7 and Gingerbaked which are both 2.3 they are all 2.2.1 or FroYo ROMs
Ok but are they built off of 2.2 or 2.1?

both most likely, developers usually update the rom
I've owned the Atrix since March (first android) and I just recently got an OTA update to 2.2.2 on Bell in Canada, is this gingerbread? I'm fairly new with all this stuff.
Thanks in advance.
No. 2.2.1 and 2.2.2 are group. 2.3.3 and 2.3.4 are gingervread

I need a rom Ics IceCream Shandwich for stock Kernel
that work
well you won't get any that functions fully. but check out devstaff's attempt here in the x8 sub fora.
You won't get! On stock there's just 165mb of ram,in custom kernels 185mb !
I recommend you to stay on gb roms
Yeah, Ice Cream Sandwich on stock is almost impossible to make.
Better to stay on Gingerbread or Froyo.

Back when I had my HTC Sensation There was a Dianxin Rom. I haven't seen much of this anymore, has it been discontinued?
Ask the developer of that ROM.

Last update on that ROM that I saw was 4.0.4. I know because I ported it to the myTouch 4G.
