G2 incoming calls start with speakerphone on - G2 and Desire Z General

Was wondering if anyone else has had this problem. It happens on all calls, have tried rebooting.
Currently running mixdroid miui.us. any suggestions or tips are greatly appreciated. Dislike having coworkers hearing my convos, almost got in trouble for this at work haha

Me too. It is annoying to say the least. My phone has been like this now for 5 days.
This always happens when I have used the navigation application and it goes away at some point although I don't know how. After looking for solutions I have found the following possible causes:
Navigation application used, phone thinks it is docked(?)
Lint, dirt in the USB port
3rd party charger causing it (USB port issue)
Possible solutions (none of which works for me and I am not going to flash it because of this)
Clean the USB port
Use HTC original phone charger
In Settings: Turn of docking mode
In Settings: Disable speaker activation when flipping/turning phone
Remove battery and SIM-card & memory card
Flash the phone

I had this problem.
It went away, and I dont know why.
Maybe if you go setting>sound> unchecked quiet ring on pickup, pocket mode and flip for speaker.

Thanks guys, appreciate your suggestions, will try them out and report back

I've got the same issue with MIUI. sometimes it'll happen 5 times in a row, then it'll go several days without happening at all. I can't find any common theme as to why it's happening/not happening

Oddity with my XV6800 not ringing/responding

Hey gang, great forums you have here as I've found some alarm fixes in searching that have been great. However, I have another more generic issue I can't get a straight answer on via search.
The major problem I have is that some days it'll never ring and instead acts like it's asleep until I push a button. When I do, I'll suddenly have 4 voicemails and a bunch of notifications. This happens more frequently when plugged into the charger but also happens when it's disconnected sitting on my desk. Oddly enough, I don't think it's happened in the cradle on my hip though. I've come to grips with it being an inferior alarm clock but I can't deal with missing calls and notifications for hours.
My question is, should I address this as a software problem or is this a known bug/issue for these phones? Before I update my WM (have had bad luck in the past) I wanted to get the expert opinion. Thanks in advance!

Call Waiting Issue

Hey all!
so, I've got an odd issue that I've been seeing pop up lately on my MT4G. Not sure if it's just a settings issue or?
If I'm currently on a call, and someone else calls in, if the 2nd call goes to Voicemail it kills the 1st call as well.
Phone is rooted, and currently running CM7 Nightlies (#90)
Again, not sure if it's just a bad settings issue, or a bug in the ROM or?
Anyone else seen this or know how to resolve it?
Thanks!
I'm seeing the same issue on RoyalGinger 2.1.
I've noticed that the issue doesn't occur if you select to send the call to voicemail before the 30 seconds of "ringing time" ends.
Also, the device seems to drop the network entirely, and has to re-register with the network.
I've already replaced the device (for a different issue). So I've seen this on two separate devices. In addition, I put my SIM into another Android device at the same location and it worked as expected...
I think it's a Rom issue. It only happens to me on certain roms

Help with audio during calls

I have looked at a few posts here and I seem to be having the same problem as many people on cm7 however I'm on stock ei22 (upgraded modem last night to EL and that didn't fix). The phone was working fine then I had the dumb idea of using my epic on uscc. Anyways as far as I know all settings (m.ip and such) were reset back to sprint as we decided to stay with them and I have done several dialer resets. The main problem is when I call I can hear the person but they can't hear me. The only way to fix it is to hang up and imediatly call back then its all ok. Its like this for every call I make (inbound seems uneffected. Any ideas of a check box I could have missed or messed up or and zips to fix this?
I have the usual tools I can work with such as cdma ws, qpts qxts etc (typing from memory so I'm sure these are. Not right letters but you get the idea)
Thanks for your time.

LG G3 call sound issue

Hello
I just bought the LG G3 and I have a strange problem where every time I try to make a call, I get no sound in the earpeace, and instead in the status bar I see a small icon representing a headphone jack. If I try to switch to loudspeaker it works, but not with the earpeace. Can someone please tell me if that is a software issue or a phone defect??? Thanks in advance
P.S. the phone is running the latest stock firmware and has undergone several factory resets
I had a similar issue. Can't replicate it on demand either and don't know how to fix it.
Never plugged in headphones. Happened about a day of usage after taking the phone out of the box. Completely stock.
Had the phone replaced for another issue and the replacement did the same thing after I'd say 2 days or so. No particular reason. I was on the phone with someone and out of nowhere I couldn't hear them but they heard me. Checking and un-checking speaker didn't do anything .

Phone call problem

Anyone else find that every once in a while you'll call someone and won't be able to hear anything and they won't hear you until you call them back? Happens when I call out from time to time. Very frustrating.
Tried wiping dialer data. Also tried reinstalling app updates from the play store, no change.

If you're on sprint I've been having the same issues.

I'm actually on ATT, which means it's probably not carrier related. Wonder if anyone knows of any alternate dialers that would work? Could see if it's app related or driver related.
I've done this but found my phone was on mute. Next time it happens check to see if that's the case. I think maybe it is easy to hit with your face?
I had the same issue but it would work with some numbers and not with others. I found a setting under the caller that was turned on for hearing aid support. Once I turned that off, it seems that my issues have gone away.
10 hours into the phone (got mine this AM) and I like the device but still not a fan of the camera, even with the Google camera port. Some things essentially (intentional) seem half baked or not thought completely through.
I just downloaded the MS Launcher and I have to say, I like it a lot. I'm considering keeping that the stock launcher.b
Same issue, my face it's the mute button all the time.
Happened twice in a day, I had to reset everything and still same if I restore all apps from back and/or if I connect my phone to car bluetooth --> safe unlock.
