Not entirely but I plan on switching to the Touch Friday if I can get my hands on one. I will still be hanging around and helping as possible. As long as I have people willing to test I can still help out without the phone.

i sold an epic for over 250 just the phone and charger and of course the sd card that it came with no box or anything!

$150 to $225 would be about right

Depends on the capacity of it, but unfortunately they aren't worth that much anymore. If you are going to sell it though, do it soon before the new tabs start hitting the market and it will be worth even less.

Agree. Given all of the above and saturation in the tablet market, the seller would be extremely lucky if he got $150.

Yeah right before Christmas I checked Brest buys trade jn calculator. It was around 150, now it sits at 70. Craigslist of coarse is going to be more, just thought it was funny. Might gift this to my girlfriend s little brother

Based on your tax situation, gift it to charity and then take off $799 on your taxes.

Just looking at completed listings on ebay, they are selling used for $275+ typically.

i wouldnt go lower than $250. the lowest price i've seen at a physical retailer is walmart @ $330 for the 16gb. best buy (as far as website) only carries refurbs for $299 for 16gb. no new ones to be found.
even with a quad core 7 incher from asus at $250 looming, $250 for a used a500(10-inch tablet with at least 16gb and full size usb) is a good deal

Is this why Asus is all over the prime forum telling owners they are sorry for all the wifi bluetooth and other issues.

I'm not sure if this is where I should post this, but I guess it kinda applies to this forum.
Anyways, this company apparently has really good deals. But I'm sure if they are a real/reputable company. I mean according to the post, the have brand new devices. Like a Galaxy Note for $300 and an iPhone 4S 16GB for $280. I think these deals are too good to be true, but if they are real, I want to buy things!

Personally, I'm leaning toward yes on this question given the history of the Galaxy Nexus. However, I wanted to get the thoughts of others here on the forums. I really want to wait, but I'm finding it hard.

Well the gnex started at $649 and eventually went to $399 on the play store. The n4 and the n5 started even lower than that at $299 and $349 respectively. There is a big difference. I'm not saying you are wrong, just trying to get us to consider all the facts.

Nope, the same treatment will be needed for all previous Nexus, which Google ACTUALLY does, but not carrier-oriented procedure.
But taking in mind that the Nexus 5 will be the first on be more than a full year on the market, the drop of price will definitely go for it first than anything.

I doubt it will have price drops this year, i have been in contact with a supplier and he says its a premium price with those specs, motorola has been strict with specific details till november.

Wait a couple of months. A lot of people with will use their $200 upgrade and flip the phone on EBay for $500 to $550. You can find a brand new LG G3 for $400 on EBay and that phone hasn't been out that long.

The fact that it has high end specs mean nothing when it comes to phone holding value over time. Google will never drop the price via the playstore but as the previous guy said, many users who will get it via contract subsidy for $200, will sell it for $550 new on ebay.

Wont that result in you buying a phone that is tied to someone else's contract and whatnot...?!
Ive never phone a phone from those circumstances so i would assume that to be the case and you would have to go and check to make sure its clean and ready to go. seems like a lot of time/work...but idk

There is a risk that the phone you buy is blacklisted. I normally check the person's feedback and look at their EBay rating. Most people that have a long history of selling stuff on EBay want be looking to scam you.

Until people buy the z play and the unlocked version you will never gain enough support to get them to work on a root method.

I wouldent. Spec downgrade is to much and those specs at most will only last a year. Not the mention the build quality is lower then the z and the force. I picked my force up from best buy out the door for $527 with the jbl speaker mod. So same price as the play and a better phone.

I got the force for 650 with projector ...That pretty good against the play version?I bought jbl speaker and a battery pack..And commuter otter box and 3 other backs plus the droid mod carry case
..The thing is it keeps freezing up on my WWE Supercard game and rebooting itself..It only does that on that app..

How are you guys getting these deals? I'm paying the full price... over time... but have until tomorrow to return my phone (within my trial period)... and I could switch it out with a deal like this! Best Buy?
Actually I think I see it... shows $200 gift card back from BB plus the JBL... guess I could turn the JBL and the $200 into the lower price and/or the projector! I may be upsetting a Verizon store guy tomorrow!

I would return it and take bb deal...I'm getting a $200 bb card too .....Thanks for the reminder..I got a projector and bought the jbl speaker...The phone they sent me had a $800 tag on it so I got a killer deal...Learn long ago not to buy from the cellular company itself....All Verizon offered was a 50% discount on a mod if you bought one...

Because dev teams love nothing more than a group of people pestering them to support a phone they may not have or have any desire to work on. No one is getting rich by finding root access on a phone. Most of the devs do it for free. I wouldn't push anyone to do anything.

Think you are looking into a little to much. If the KingRoot method doesn't work it gives you an option to request support. And that is what I was getting at. Not to pester them about it.
