my problem is that i installed ics on my x8 with stock kernel because i thought that if anything happend i can use xrecovry now i have bootloop and xrecovry doesnt open i used seus and pcc both of them says that i have the latest software and when i try to use flashtool to instal any costum kernel it always says that flashing aborted so can anyone help me with this problem

Is there anyway to update the x8 from 1.6 to 2.1 (official ROM) other than the pccompanion and seus methods?
Flash it with Flash Tool, you´ll find a guide in a thread called "How to rescue your bricked phone" because most people use it when they are already on cutom ROMs but did some **** so the phone won´t even boot.
I haven't updated to 2.1 atleast once. Means it's fresh 1.6. I can't reply there in the thread you proposed since i'm low in posts.
So my question is , can i use flash tool as an alternative for pc companion and seus.? Means i can download the firmwares listed there and flash it using flash tool as mentioned there?
Of course..you download the firmware you want and you flash it!
I wouldn't say that x10flashtool is an alternative for seus (and pc companion) because it just flashes the firmware you have in that folder..I mean it doesn't download the new firmwares like seus! but I might be wrong!
Hey i got a Problem.
I tryed to install Android 4.1 second time on my device.
First time it ran perfekt but i had to remove it because gaps didn't work.
After i removed it i got a new Buildingnumber it changed from JVI to JW1 but there were no kernel to root my handy again.
So I tryed itt with my old rootkernel JVI.
But Odin stopped working and now my handy can't boot, the only thing that works is the downloadmode.
Every time i want to start it there is a telefon, a pc and a ! on middle of both.
And maybe it's important, i'm on Linux and i used a Windows virtuelle maschine to controll Kies and Odin.
I hope you can help me

what do you mean with what Rom are you using? i don't installed any rom i only tryed to root my handy from now.
i don't installed any Rom i only cleaned my handy last time i deleted android 4.1 with darky room and installed the original firmware from Samsung

That's called forced download mode. You need to flash a kernel with Odin. Pm me if you need the link for Odin. Search xda for a kernel. Also on a side note, for gapps you will have to flash it twice. Once will not be enough.

You can flash any ROM using odin as it will do the root for you. If you are a noob then try this link it has full detailed instructions and is a great starting point from which you can build on [flash over]

If you are having no luck with Odin, try using Heimdall.
1..Download Heimdall from www.glassechidna.com.au/products/heimdall/, preferably version 1.3.1 as 1.3.2 isn't quite as stable.
2. Download a firmware from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1196179. The link also contains a decent guide by Aorth on how to use the Heimdall frontend to load i9000 firmwares.
3. Before following the guide, install the correct drivers to use with heimdall by putting your phone into download mode, unpacking the heimdall application zip and running 'zadig', (found inside the drivers folder). Under options, remember to tick 'List all Devices' and untick 'Ignore hubs or composite parents'. Install either 'Samsung USB composite device' or 'Gadget serial'.

Clockworkmod is a recovery. What firmware did you flash exactly? Did you check the MD5? What did you use to flash (clockworkmod, odin etc)and what steps did you take to flash?
you can install Roms with Clockwork right? why it brick everytime i use recovery mode?
I installed the Samsung Firmware 10 times now i think.

I have an Lg optimus L7 with the firmware 20a and CWM 6.0.2.8 (installed following :http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2214717 )
Problem: Wanted to do a factory reset, handy restarted in Recovery, clicked on the fastory reset button:
But now i wasnt able to choose "Yes" only "No "was available
As a consequence i tried to flash with kdz but did not worked / only rebooted in recovery or stuck on emergency picture
Then i tried lg updater but he always stuck at 4% installing and says "communication error! pls try again"
I did not found any idea how i can fix it. I hope one of u can help me
btw: i tried with the kdz the following:
3GQCT DIAG/ Emergeny + v20a /v20d (rootet ones+ v20d original)

There many treads here with your error.Search ....First must install last driver on lg,then remove battery and push volum down then conect USB CABLE.If everything is ok your phone will be yellow and with emergency writh on screen.Now ope kdz update program and with windows enabler on serch rom you whant to install select diag and update.Sorry for my english and sumary steps.

Yes, if you scroll down apear a lots of No then you find a yes in CWR and do factory reset.What version of CWR do you have installed :touch or non touch?

did a facotry reset but device is only loading recovery( CWM v6.0.2.8)

Try to flash a rom from cwr.For exemple i use this rom.Download via pc ,remove sd card from phone, copy rom on sd card ,then insert sd card in phone.Boot in recovery ,after that install rom:

Think the reason for it was that i flashed the normal stock v20a and not the v20d or so but I`m not quite sure..

hi all , i was on stock , i installed cwm recovery and installed a custom rom whch wasnt good , i wanna to go back to stock but when i open lg support tool n flash tool and select kdz file and sofware update starts so i get this error , i format my phone , re installed windows but same problem , is it because i dint remove cwm recovery or what? i still ve cwm recovery n i dno hw to remove it , someone please help , thnx

Did you flashed a rom for F320L only? What rom u flashed? Install windows xp then try reflashing?

i flashed the hk v1 rom at first , then i flashed vdt-v5 and now currently using that one , and now im trying to go back stock but cant , you can see the error , i installed xp last night , downloaded all the drivers , but i was gettin some error like ''LGE ANDRIOID NET MTP DRIVER'' is not installed and it caused me the issue , i seached allot about it and installed some mtp drivers but the same problem so i came back to windows 7 , but rememer i flashed stock firmware thruough windows 7 before too , it worked and at that time i never used custom roms and cwm recovery but after flashing custom roms and installing recovery im having this issues..

By Mistake I Did The OTA Update Usiing Software Update From The Device. After Updating I Just Get The CWM Recovery Screen On Booting. I Tried To Flash Some Backups, And CM9 Also But It Didn't Worked. I Also Tried Flashing Stockrom Which Also Failed! Finally I Tried To Flash The Firmware Using KDZ Updater But When In Emergency Mode I Flash The KDZ File It Says Phone Was Not Found! I Think It is Because My USB Debugging Is Not On And I Cannot Do It Also Coz The Phone Is Not Booting Up.
Please Help Me Guys What To Do!! Please Help ME!

I think You are bricked ur device
try reboot your phone while flashing kdz. this will detect your phone. if you can enter emergency, it not dead
