yeah, I know what a weird request. I already have my car jerry-rigged to use my xmradio and now I need to play audio in my car off my Kaiser.
I figure FM modulation is the best method.
I found some good reviews on this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&Item=330201084594&Category=86537&_trksid=p3907.m29
anyone have any experience with these/opinions or other methods to play Kaiser audio on car deck (which does not have inputs on back or tape deck).
Thanks
I have this one. I buy it at a local walmart in US.

Hey im trying to figure out how to play my music through my car stereo i have an 03 tauros so theirs literally no cd players i can swap mine out for so i guess that just leaves me looking for an fm tuner. So i was wondering if anyone knew of a good one. Ive had some in the past that sucked and want one were i can change the song without having to look through my phone and a. get pulled over or b. cause a five car pile up. So if any one could give me any pointers i'd be very appreciative thanks.
Crutchfield is your friend
Now you can install any single-din radio (just need to get the correct wiring harness). There are a number of good single-din units that will play music via USB cable (if you have a memory card in your Fuze, it will be recognized as a USB storage device). Or find a radio that has integrated stereo bluetooth .

OR get a stereo with a AUX input, get a microUSB > 3.5mm adapter, and get a male to male 3.5mm cable.
I love the motorola T501/505 series. excellent BT speakerphone and plays music/transmits to radio. i bought one and loved it so much, i bought 5 others for family. not cheap, but well worth the money!!!
Pioneer Head Units
Pioneer makes a number of units that can fill your needs. Some are very reasonably priced. Check with Crutchfield online to help you decide which unit is best for you. When you determine the right unit, you can depend on Crutchfield to help you with the info you need for a successful installation. Sometimes eBay has some good prices if you know what you want and don't need any help...David.
BTW, you can find the motorola t505 on amazon right now for 60 bucks.....good deal...

MOTO T505 works well for me...I have seen them advertised at Newegg etc. for around $50.
Same as most of the others. I have a motorola T501/505. You can also advance the songs with it, and it clips to your visor. It also goes for a few weeks without a recharge. The down side is if you live in a high population area, it can be hard finding a clear spot on the dial for it.
I was getting ready to burn a new Rob Zombie CD but I thought of this and wanted to ask the guru's if it might work!
I did a little research and found a few devices that I "think" might work, but I'm not 100% sure of the bluetooth capability of the A500 (does it have the correct profile to do this?):
TuneLink Auto - http://www.amazon.com/Tunelink-Blue...2?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1305375956&sr=8-2
GOgroove Flexsmart - http://www.amazon.com/Transmitter-H...berry-Smartphones/dp/B003PPGOC0/ref=pd_cp_e_1
Has anyone ever used a type of device like this? Any recommendations on the best one to get?
Thanks in advance for any help!
-edit-
I went ahead and ordered a couple:
The Soundfly BT: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001DDE4VY/ref=ox_ya_os_product (will have it Monday),
and The TuneLink (will have it Tuesday).
I'll post my findings once I give them a test!
Bluetooth FM transmitters? My experience with FM transmitters taught me one thing.... with buy a new head unit with aux in or bluetooth directly. But I have yet to try my a500 via bluetooth in the car, maybe later today

The iconia has the capability, that is sure. I paired it with the bluetooth of a rented car and the music of my iconia played perfectly. I could change songs and volume with the steering wheel controls as if I was reading a cd.
The car was a Peugeot 308, using poweramp in the iconia. 4 hours if pleasure drive in France listening to my music, and with very low battery drain.

Great, thanks! I look forward to testing it out next week to see how it works. I bought two different models and will give one of them to the wife (after I decide which one I like). LOL
I have two of them, and much cheaper than what you paid.
First one i bought was an Alpine EX-10. I got it on amazon for 30 bucks. It allows bluetooth transmission through line-in aux or fm transmitter. there's ALOT of wires though, but it comes with a remote as well and a mic for speakerphone.
The 2nd one I bought, which I am using currently, is the Kensington LiquidAUX. I think I paid like 20 bucks for this and it works great. Very little hardware and cables and works perfect. Has a remote and steering wheel mount. It only works through AUX-Line-In though.
I purchased a new Joying head unit 30 days ago and the mic really sucks bad even after mod's, this is a major deal breaker for me. I am about to order another unit (Ownice 8" model OL-7606) but thought I would ask you great folks first. Here is my set up and must have's out of the box: what unit would be best for me is the question.....
2010 VW Jetta
5 Channel Amp
Steering wheel controls (12 Button)
Back up camera
Must have's
Bluetooth Networking with phone (for the following)
Good clear Ext. Mic ( I live in my car on the phone with customers daily)
Phone
Calendar
Mail
Contacts
TomTom or Garmin (USA)
Then the rest we can work through
stranded android stuff
Thank You Everyone
SteveOOO
PS Joying unit up for sale mic mods done but major echo going on with a low buzzing nose or it becomes baseball practice on utube and sent to joying on what my thoughts are of there units....

WOW No one wants to through their input into this?
I'm in a similar position trying to find a cheap android hu with decent bluetooth. I was looking at an eonon, but found these avinusa units which supposedly have parrot bluetooth - https://avinusa.com/7-universal-dou...android-multimedia-navigation-system-159.html
I own a parrot asteroid smart and it has been a great unit but the software and hardware is dated now. The bluetooth handsfree and voice command are awesome though so I'm very interested in how these avinusa units are. If you do get one I'd love to hear your feedback on it or any other unit you get.

I previously had a carjoying and had the same bs. horrible bt call quality even after mods.
I have a AN-21U 2nd gen unit now, built specifically for my car and BT quality is excellent.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/and...nd-generation-4-4-2-android-21u-ouku-t3230587
It does have some quirks about the way the unit handles BT (treats BT as separate device from unit instead of part of the unit), but it's still really good and a huge improvement over carjoying.
All,
I have two of these in my commuter cars. (2007 Saturn Ion/2001 Impala)

I commute around 100 miles a day.
I have been pretty happy with these Binize especially for the price point. I have a rear camera on both.
I use it daily for GPS, radio, my playlist (on thumbdrive), and Podcasts (Stitcher). I expect them to be a low end GPS tablet with an amp and they do that. I also have a ELM327 and the Torque app installed on the head unit.
It took some trial and error to get everything setup software wise and I was meticulous on the wiring (soldered connections/heat wrap/full install kits etc.).
They have been installed for over a year now.
Anyways I have decent size fingers and the side of the screen volume can be tricky especially in the Saturn. So I picked up one of these;

The Remote Control unit pairs fine with my Samsung Note S10+ cell phone. It adjust my cell phones volume well and does what it should . The head unit under the Bluetooth icon under AGAMA sees the X09 Bluetooth device but does not Pair as my ELM327 does. I have deleted the ELM327 out of the Paired Devices to see if that is the issue but to no avail.
Is there any application I could download to see what is going on. Is this a issue with Android Head Units?
Are there better Remote Control Units out there to consider?
Also while we are discussing Android Head Units. What Applications or hardware do you have on yours that you find interesting?
Thanks
Chris
Included is what I am seeing...
I have same approach to those head units - low end tablet with BT, gps, mp3, video and reverse cam cappabilities.
But according to your problem with BT connection. Im not sure if bluetooth in those radios is fully functional as in other devices (for transmit files, tethering internet etc) or its just like head set - limited capability only to hands-free talk via cellphone.
But if you use it with ELM (or other CAN decoder), than it should work with SWC also...
Maybe try without Agama launher? Use stock software for test
I think that there are better options for steering wheel control. At the back of your radio there should be two additional wires, marked as KEY 1 & 2. They are designed to be used with resistance-based controls.
Do a refund with that you already have (with BT) and buy this:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Remote-Control-Button-Car-Audio-Steering-Wheel-Wireless-Bluetooth-Universal/302763993342?_trkparms=aid=1110006&algo=HOMESPLICE.SIM&ao=1&asc=225074&meid=f4ff115cb3864f40aac6e56b787db63c&pid=100623&rk=5&rkt=5&mehot=pp&sd=264013200753&itm=302763993342&pmt=1&noa=1&pg=2047675&algv=DefaultOrganic&brand=Unbranded&_trksid=p2047675.c100623.m-1
or
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Universal-...rand=Unbranded&_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851
But before that make sure that you have key1 & key2 (or SWC 1 & 2,)
It also uses BT communication, but not this one in head unit. It has own BT module which you solder to harness and sends resistive signals via key 1&2 wires.
Personally I dont use wireless steering wheel control, but instead i bought controller like this
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32997030091.html
cheap, reliable, easy to install and doesnt require batteries to run.
If you need more buttons you can install the second on other side
