[Q] Wifi tether- GingerBread 2.3 on htc hd2

Please help, I can't tether via USB nor wifi on my HTC HD2 running GingerBread 2.3...appreciate any help.

I have searched and read everywhere, cannot find the right way to make my TmoUS HD2 tether thru wifi!
I've tried 3 roms, Boyppc-Shiftpda, Cyanogen Mod and Angeldeath's rom, it works on none!
tried Barnacle, Wifi Tether, inbuilt, didnt help!
I mean is there a specific trick that makes it work?
Please help!

I have the same problem ... I have a HD2 and I am using [CWR]_BOYPPC-CM7_HoneyComB_V41 ROM but Wifi Tether doesn't work !! I ve tried many things without any success.
Is there anybody who have a solution ?

Guys, people who have their device tethering thru WiFi, please help, I m don't trying a lot of Roms, it just dosent work!

Hello, it seems that nobody else has this problem !! after few days looking for a solution, I found a new Rom and now it's working great.

Which rom is it. I have a similar problem where only barnacle seems to work.

it is this one : TyphooN CyanogenMod 7 Nightly v3.6.3 [2.3.5][A2SD][tytung r12b1]

No sense rom that can tether?

The NDT Sense 3.0 Pyramid v6 said WiFi tether working, there's this 3rd party wifi tether included in the rom, but when connected, shows limited connectivity, anyone aware of the solution for this problem?

From past 10days I am trying to get my Aria connect to ad hoc wifi(from laptop) but ending up with no result . I also posted about this here but didn't get a concrete help.
Running cm7.2 RC0 2.3.7
If any one is able to connect to adhoc wifi please provide the wpa_supplicant file (for 2.3.7) or necessary instructions to modify it myself.
