INSTALLED FROYO SENSE CLEAN ON HD2? I CAN'T FIND ADHOC NETWORKS, thank u for ur heko
So, I have been pretty frustrated about roms can't connect to adhoc wifi. (ex. iPhone tether).
These are all the roms that i have tried.
Typhoon, NDT Ginger, NDT MIUI, stock MIUI, NexusHD2.
Out of all these roms, only NexusHD2 can connect to adhoc wifi (iPhone tether).
weird thing is, all those roms says adhoc wifi works.
NexusHD2 is great, but I really need CM7 which is does not have.
Call anyone list me some roms that can connect to adhoc wifi?

im using HTC HD2 with CLK.
applied wpa patch to all of the roms also.
I have searched and read everywhere, cannot find the right way to make my TmoUS HD2 tether thru wifi!
I've tried 3 roms, Boyppc-Shiftpda, Cyanogen Mod and Angeldeath's rom, it works on none!
tried Barnacle, Wifi Tether, inbuilt, didnt help!
I mean is there a specific trick that makes it work?
Please help!

I have the same problem ... I have a HD2 and I am using [CWR]_BOYPPC-CM7_HoneyComB_V41 ROM but Wifi Tether doesn't work !! I ve tried many things without any success.
Is there anybody who have a solution ?

Hello, it seems that nobody else has this problem !! after few days looking for a solution, I found a new Rom and now it's working great.

Which rom is it. I have a similar problem where only barnacle seems to work.
it is this one : TyphooN CyanogenMod 7 Nightly v3.6.3 [2.3.5][A2SD][tytung r12b1]

The NDT Sense 3.0 Pyramid v6 said WiFi tether working, there's this 3rd party wifi tether included in the rom, but when connected, shows limited connectivity, anyone aware of the solution for this problem?

I am currently running:
HTC Wildfire
Android 2.3.4
CyanogenMod-7.1 for Wildfire :: (V7.1-RC1)
and since I flashed this ROM, I dont seem to have wifi anymore? I get to "Obtaining IP Address"
any assistance would be great since I'm pretty nooby at this still
