CM7 Bluetooth isssue - EVO 4G General

Ive been using CM7 for a couple of weeks now and I use a bluetooth during the day. when i disconnect the device I loose all audio. notifications and in call sound, can't hear ringing or if anyone answers. only way to resolve i can find is to reboot.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You

I'm having the same problem also, I switch off CM7 and my bluetooth streams one time then I have to restart my phone to get it to work again.

Hey, I think I found the problem. Flash a different Kernel to it.

The only time my Bluetooth does that is when I have my wifi or Wimax on other than that its solid on Nightly 255.

Try different kernels. I've found that even though I continue to use the same build (ShubCRAFT 1.5), when I swap kernels I get differing results with the BT headset.
Media Audio tends to work whatever, I've had no problems with that, but phone audio is a different matter.
I've been using michyprima's r11 kernel lately (noAXI) and that seems to just about work but I do have to make a call and press the Bluetooth button immediately initially to get it to work.
Even then, it's flaky, as when the phone rings and I press the answer button on my BT headset, it brings up the Voice Dialer dialog over the top of the phone app and doesn't answer the call. I've resorted to only connecting BT to media and not using it for the phone.
I appreciate that doesn't solve your problems - I've simply decided to try each and every kernel until it's fixed! I'm sure the wonderful devs here will get round to fixing it soon but I think they've probably got other things higher up on the priority list right now!
I'm using a Sony Ericsson MW600 BT headset btw.
hello sorry for my English
my jabra bt hyperdroid on 1.2 works, but sometimes there is more sound for the march to re-I does not restart it by pressing the restart button, but I removed the battery!
For me works like that
success
I forgot to tell you that I deactivated the sound of media

[Q] Trouble With Bluetooth Cyanogen 6.1.2 RC2 on Mytouch 4G

***I am a n00b***
I have searched cyanogens forums as well as xda and google and have not found the answer to my situation. I am hoping that anyone can lead me to the answer.
Basically, I have already rooted my Mytouch 4G and flashed Cyanogen 6.1.2-RC2 onto it, successfully and on the first try. I went around installing fonts and different themes even android market 2.2.7 all this works like a charm.
I have only come across one issue that I have not been able to find the answer for on any forum and I have been looking all day. When I try to pair my phone with my bluetooth, it won't find anything after scanning. There were only 2 times out of around 50 times that I got my bluetooth headset to show up, when I did, it said "cannot establish communication to jabra so-and-so". What I would like to know, I read that it has to do with the firmware or something. And browsing around, people said that it was fixed with a nightly build. I attempted to extract a .bin file but later found out it was only for the G1. I don't understand that, can anyone help me out? either explain what to do or do I have to wait for an update? Thank you so much!!
It may be a communication error with the Jabra..... I have a Platronics 320, and mine works perfect with no problem.. would you be able to try with another headset?... I have the same rom as you...

I have a jawbone...i will try that one, ive been reading more and more about this, i thought there would be a patch out or something to fix it but i'll try my other bluetooth...err...blueteeth lol. Thanks for responding back!
No problem... Let me know if it works with the Jawbone... I am pretty interested to see if that is the issue
It's not the ROM. Check your earpiece pairing instructions. Spent so much time, reflashed, etc. _ pairing a Jabra but I was using a Samsung pairing procedure.
If we have same Jabras, turn it off then press power continuously until it shows on bluetooth scan, then pair.

Yeah I will... its so strange because there are times I'm trying to pair and the closest I ever got was it said incorrect pin or passkey...which as I know from selling phones at tmobile for almost 4 years is 0000. but the problem is, there's no where to put in the passkey. I tried menu long pressing and nothing..btw I'm using a jabra stone 2 just got it for christmas so I'm sad if I can't get it to work. Thanks for all the support

So it worked....putting the headset in pairing mode was hard to figure out without instructions....I had to hold the bluetooth button down for like 40 seconds

My Bluetooth connection is REALLY BAD

I have searched the Desire hd section for any Bluetooth problems, but seems that im the only one with a problem????!!!
My Bluetooth conectivty SUCKS with any headsets!
i have tried 4 diffrent headsets! and all "god" ones.
But i get the same result, as soon as i move i get lots of bad sound (Donw know how to explane, but like a Tv sound without a signal)
and i have to have the phone at a maximum of 5-10 cm so i can get a "good" listning sound.
The person who talkes with me have no problems.
I tested with 3 diffrent Nokia BT
one of them is bh-606
Jabra Bt as well.
I have the latest firmware. But lots of apps in my phone? can that cause a problem?
Try settings/energy saving function/ deactivate bluetooth. (Turn off)

Hmm Thanks but that only says that it will close Bt connection while there are no calls active?!
I can alsaw add that my Wifi Connection sucks aswell. tried it with 3 routers. and if im not in the same room so the connection is not even detected! But if im in the same room i came upp to 18 mb download with a speed test app. So the Range seems to be a problem both for the BT and Wifi.
Update your radio. Find how to by reaching.

isnt that the latest radio?
The settings/energy saving function/ deactivate bluetooth. (Turn off)
Didnt help
And i really dont wanna make a hard reset and reinstall all my apps and settings! and i dont have root so i can make a backup of all that.
1,72.405.3 is rom, not radio
look in the development forums, in one of the stickys there are the radios listed
but u'll need root + other things to flash a new radio

Plz Any help here?
Need to use BT units while driving + at work and i cant!
Edit:
i did a little test today with a Stereo Bt unit!
then bt connection works well!
so it seems that the problem is a software issue and its only with mono bt units!!!
Yet a nother sieries of tests!
I have now concloded that its the Mono Bt units i have problems with, and that its a software issue!
I used the BT in my car, and the sound works without any problems..
And i tested with a Nokia Stereo Bt, and same there, even upp to 10 m i have a clear sound..
SO it seems to be only with regular mono Bt units i have this problem!
Any tips?

[Q] JVP 2.3.4 Bluetooth audio hangs

Continuing JVP build issues:
I am heavily using bluetooth hands free in my car. With JVP build after a couple of phone calls over bluetooth, the bluetooth just hangs. The icon shows device connected even when no bluetooth device is around. In any case it will not use the bluetooth handset. Turning bluetooth on off will not solve the problem, only rebooting the phone.
Anybody else has this problem?
Same here

Try to stop the pairing and pair it again. Works here, better than restart the phone...

Same here... Unpairing and pairing again did not work, even with bt device off. Had to reboot every time. Went back to froyo because of this.

Are you all on stock Kernel ?
I was on cf-root 3.7 with all tweaks disabled. But others have reported the same thing on stock.
same here...
cf root 3.7 also...
Yep getting the same in my car :/
Not too disappointed because i know it's pre-release firmware.
Hoping that it would be fixed in the final release.
Another reason to post such problems here, since we all know Samsung devs are reading this
Can anybody with this problem confirm that it remains even with stock.kernel?

Bluetooth connectivity problem

Hey guys. I'm hoping one of you can help me. I'm having issues getting my Bluetooth to work. I'm running SHOstock in the stock slot on safe strap. I never had a problem with the phone connecting to my headset using my old stock ROM. However, it has never been able to connect while running SHOstock or Google play edition ROMs. My phone will see the headset but when I try to pair it says incorrect pin or password, but it doesn't ever give me an option to enter a new one. Any help is greatly appreciated as this is a feature I really need.
