Gingerbread 2.3.5 - Atrix 4G General

Hi all,
I will like to know how to make my Atrix 4g to look, like the new Atrix 2, as I know it comes with android 2.3.5, I have allready rooted my Atrix 4G, I want to eliminate the H+ symbol, and will like to show 4G/3G, etc instead of the H+, can anyone tell me how to do it or get it to happen?, and if its possible
Thanks in advance

You need to install a theme that has the interface you want.

I've been running 2.3.5 fruitcake without webtop since it was uploaded. Works perfectly.
Just loaded webtop update today, and hdmi webtop hack. It works !!!!
* EDIT ; it still has H+ icon though. Not a concern since the fruitcake is freaking solid. Manually added features from Noattach like 1% mod and quickpanel.

htc touch wifi(would like some info about whats possible with custom roms)

hello i am new to this scene and would like some more info about if its possible with a custom rom to enable wifi on a htc touch(elf) maybe a patch or a firmware. your response will be greatly appreciated.
i have some other question about custom roms but this is not the correct forum
it is a hardware thing so if it doesnt come with it then you cant have it
so il have to get a sd wifi card
The wifi does not work properly on it anyway so I wouldnt bother.
doesn't the Touch (elf) comes with Wi-Fi? or am I mistaken?
it has the chip i thing but sprint disables it.
i dont knwo abt there but in my country HTC touch has Wifi inbuilt and if the ROM has disabled it then iether change the ROM or search there has to a command which will switch the WiFi on as no on is so stupid to make a rom with wifi disabled even when the phone supports that.
so check thoroughly there has to be some command which will switch on the Wifi else u can always change over to another ROM
yeah the thing is that if you change the rom it wont work with sprint
Doh! Here in Spain they sell the Touch with WiFi enabled. I think it's stupid to cap this feature knowing the Touch has no 3G/HSDPA, so they leave you without high-speed internet connection.

The OP is referring to the CDMA version of the touch AKA Vogue and this version of the touch as slightly different hardware and no Wifi. The GSM version AKA Elf has wifi just like yours.

Hero vs. EVO Benchmarks

anyone care to enlighten me how the hell some people are getting 34megaflops on the EVO... am i doing something wrong... ?
I think it was pc magazine that did a mobile network data test recently and they found that here in raleigh Durham ATT's 3g was faster than Sprint's 4g.
The EVO has a much higher screen resolution than the Hero from what I know so that would explain Nanocore. The EVO's resources are being hogged by the HTC Crapware they have the need to install on every damn phone, so once we remove those and get to where the Nexus one is at(Google software only for the most part) then we can do an actual benchmark.

True I hope HTC sees this and gives us options to run their crap or bone stock aosp...
that neocore was unexpected... I guess the hero got a lot of life left in it after all...

I was wondering if it was at all possible to port the Samsung Vibrant's puzzle lock screen to the mytouch 3g 1.2. It looks pretty interesting to have on my phone. Is there a way to get this on my mytouch 3g?

It's a start which is a good thing. Although it reminds me of the sliding lockscreen just themed. I managed to find a fascinate system dump if anyone wants to extract the lockscreen from it to possibly mod it.
Sent from my HTC Magic using XDA App

Hell, I'd love to give it a shot, not promising anything, I've never tried anything like this, but I want that lock screen and I don't mind risking my Eris

You rooted the Xoom, now what?

I know and familiar with rooting, I've done that with my Droid and Galaxy S.
This is a curious question for Xoom owners who have rooted their Xoom. What do you do to it?
Overclock? Do you really need the speed?
Tethering? But limited to the data plan bandwidth?
Custom Rom?
Block ads, investigate /data/data.
I, personally, don't have a need to root just yet. I'm just enjoying the stock Wi-Fi Xoom.
Btw, you don't need to root to tether to your phone. I have a rooted EVO and it tethers just fine (and fairly fast).

what about playing with the system files? Change the bootscreen, change the default sound, playing with the density, change the button definition file, screw up some parameters, change some apps in the system/app directory, play with the notification flash drivers.... ahhhh I should stop now, too... many. ... things ..... come to my mind. Getting a headache LoL
I enjoy just messing around with features/settings we aren't meant to have access to. Tonight I spent a lot of time messing around with the music player after enabling streaming in Music2.odex:

"lightbox_new_window": "New window",

}
(The features don't actually work and neither does the music store)
Add Ad-hoc network connectivity. To tether internet to pretty much any android phone!

[Q] Tiled quick settings for the G2

I'm coming from a Motorola Razr XT910 which I ran AOKP on. What I'm missing most on the G2 is the toggles that I had in the notification area.

As you know LG has replaced this with their own quick settings thingybob, which isn't really bad at all, I just prefer the other one.
So, is this something that can be done through Xposed Framework? I would love to get it back, but I can't find any proper 4.2.2 or 4.3 (preferred) ROMs for the G2 yet. This in itself isn't strange at all as its a rather new phone.
So, any tips on how I can do this? Like I said, Xposed would be awesome if it's possible and some modder is up for it, and I'm sure I'm not the only one thinking that.
+1

You can use Xposed installer and then G2 TweaksBox
And with gravity you can modify them too and add some more.
