I'm coming from a Motorola Razr XT910 which I ran AOKP on. What I'm missing most on the G2 is the toggles that I had in the notification area.

As you know LG has replaced this with their own quick settings thingybob, which isn't really bad at all, I just prefer the other one.
So, is this something that can be done through Xposed Framework? I would love to get it back, but I can't find any proper 4.2.2 or 4.3 (preferred) ROMs for the G2 yet. This in itself isn't strange at all as its a rather new phone.
So, any tips on how I can do this? Like I said, Xposed would be awesome if it's possible and some modder is up for it, and I'm sure I'm not the only one thinking that.
+1

You can use Xposed installer and then G2 TweaksBox
And with gravity you can modify them too and add some more.

I was wondering if it was at all possible to port the Samsung Vibrant's puzzle lock screen to the mytouch 3g 1.2. It looks pretty interesting to have on my phone. Is there a way to get this on my mytouch 3g?

It's a start which is a good thing. Although it reminds me of the sliding lockscreen just themed. I managed to find a fascinate system dump if anyone wants to extract the lockscreen from it to possibly mod it.

Hell, I'd love to give it a shot, not promising anything, I've never tried anything like this, but I want that lock screen and I don't mind risking my Eris
Hello everyone, I have a request to throw in there : See, the Android stock keyboard is awesome, but there's one thing that I deeply hate :
THIS

This smiley button is overly useless, being un-customizable and replacing the return button (accessible by pressing shift and this).
I don't need smileys at all, so I'd like someone to mod this, it would be REALLY appreciated.
Replacing this smiley button by the return button (creating a new line).
I know that SwiftKey has the same "problem", and I find Smart keyboard Pro to be inferior to the 4.2.2 stock keyboard.
I'll consider donating to the person that can be able to do this, and upload it to the Play Store for everyone to get it.
Because it's a big annoyance to anyone using the stock keyboard.
Thanks in advance,
Demonseye.

Thanks. Though I already found the solution to this, using the mms.apk found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2178697
I thought I posted something here too, since I found the way to do it.
Thanks anyway!
Yeah, that's the one I was referring to..

I just flashed Android 4.3 Stock onto my Nexus 4 and before i was running CyanogenMod 10.1.2 I noticed that superuser was built into the settings app in many other custom roms like Cyanogenmod. I was wondering if there was a way to do this on stock android instead of installing SuperSU as an app?
The attachment is a picture of what i mean.

Hence, the reason for custom ROM existence, is doing wicked-cool stuff like this.
TL;DR, nope. Custom is your friend (and only friend) for things like this.

Where can i read more about implementing this into my own custom Rom i am familiar with making roms.
Would it be possible to just have this in by modifying stock ROM?

Yeah, if you know what your doing you can decompile the settings apk and add in a superuser option. As long as it doesn't involve framework changes

is There Any update ??? i use google keyboard and i want to use the stock emoji that comes with it instead of samsung's "they're terrible"
I honestly thought i was the only one having this issue. I still can't figure it out even after flashing to stock and receiving another update for my SM-N900 there is no change.
I was pretty annoyed with this too (still am). I did find a solution to that but it requires root. Take a look here and try on your own: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2618523

Worked perfectly, been looking for a solution. Thanks!
I'm still on 5.1.1 and I used Multi-Window on my old Note devices daily for work. I found a temporary workaround (although it's still a MAJOR hassle without it) and this is the Android M feature I've been dying for. Pleeease, please please tell me it made it into the final release for this device. Did it?

Out of the box, no...But supposedly this is a way to enable it. Someone would have to try that out and report back I guess.

Works ok...

Yeah, I installed 6.0, and tried it out. It works... kind of. It's more incomplete than I had hoped and won't work for my purposes. oh well.
If you have root you can enable it easy with a root explore.
