I have sygic and it has a beautifull grafhics, what about the other gps apps? Which is the best?
Inviato dal mio GT-N7000 usando Tapatalk
hay mate for navigation, the best ive found is copilot i really wanted igo but it doesn't run at the resolution sadly..
Ndrive works fine on the Note.
i can confirm sygic is working very well

The real question is which of these offers the best routing/maps.
There are lots of criticisms of both Navigon and Sygic on the market. Does anybody have any comments or thoughts?
I have copilot on my HTC Desire atm but am thinking of upgrading. Copilot is ok, but sometimes comes up with stupid routes.
My friends with TomTom's always seem to come up with something better.
Navigon, copilot and Navigon all working fine.

Hi guys, so mi friend has SAMSUNG GALAXY S, and his phone "can do" something that my xperia can't: use MT to rotate map in google maps.
When I try doing that on X10 it only zooms in/out.
So my question is:
Is there any way to get rotate option in google maps or are we stuck with pinch to zoom?
The tilt function works fine on my x10 and google maps. You cant be doing it right!
Sent from my FreeX10 using Tapatalk
the tilt should work but th spin rotate feature doesnt work for some reason...
same here, maps auto-rotate works fine, maybe you are running some outdate software/rom
Update your google map to 5.1. You can rotate the map on x10.
Sent from my X10i using Tapatalk
i have 5.1. I am not talking.about auto rotate, I am talking about using 2 fingers to rotate map. If anyone can do that please upload video.
Sent from my X10i using XDA App
This action is not possible on our x10 due to the fact it lacks "true multitouch" so we can only zoom in/out and tilt the view in g.maps by moving your 2 finger up/down side by side.

Works in Google Earth, but not maps.

Hi I'm wondering whether the Vega has multitouch problems like the desire and nexus one, also has anyone played games like Nova and how does it run and is it playable with the multitouch.
Sent from my HTC HD2 using XDA Premium App
What multitouch problems are there on the Nexus 1 and Desire phones?
Can't speak for the Vega exactly but the Mobii is limited to 2 fingers, a 3rd one will stop all touch processing.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TkGuMUjWt1c&feature=youtube_gdata_player in that video if you look at the nexus one when the points cross it snaps in to place but on the wildfire it doesn't

Can't reproduce this behavior on a PoV Mobii 10" with Corvus5 (with Multitouch Test).
Do you think you could make a video of it
Sent from my HTC HD2 using XDA Premium App
Strange, while making the video it went wrong just like the N1. In the middle of the screen it's very hard to reproduce the problem. At the edges of the screen the chances of crazy stuff happening increases.
Sorry if I got your hopes up

are you using modaco r8?? I have the same problem with that rom. Try corvus5 or cyanogenmod 7, multitouch works like a charm in this roms.

The EXACT same thing that happens on the Nexus One happens in the VEGA, when the two circles align in the same axis, they "boder" each other. To play games, like Brother in Arms i use the left-up corner for movement, and to right-down corner for camera. If you look for a TOTALLY game experience dont go ahead.

Has anyone else run super gnes on their 7?
I can't seem to access any of the settings without a force close. Maybe its an issue with 4.1? Thanks for the input!

Is yours actually working now? Mine continues to just crash to the home screen without any errors, no matter what game I try to load. I've uninstalled/reinstalled with no change.
Sent an email to the dev with logcat, waiting to hear back. It continues to work fine on my phone (LG Optimus One P500, CM9), but it's kinda hard to play anything on a 3.2" screen once you've been spoiled by the 7" gloriousness that is the Nexus.
Do you guys hook up controllers to play? I've been playing some contra with nesoid but having some difficulty getting used to the touch screen dpad
I use an iControlpad. http://www.icontrolpad.com/ It was expensive but works great and has a thin profile so it sits in my bag nice. The phone clamp is removable.
I've been using sixaxis with my nexus 7 for all sorts of emulation and gaming purposes. I'd highly recommend it, especially if you own a PlayStation 3 already! It has run well on my 7 and my nexus s since the update in the topic post. I even got to play through Chrono Trigger: Flames of Eternity on it! Good times.

But the phone clamp fits on Nexus 7? I want a hands free solution to nN7 becomes a portable, it would be great.
It leaves the faces off the super smash bro stars like link. Its slow on Mario 64 and laggy.

You should probably email the developer and ask for a refund. How much did you pay for it again?
Try using 720p instead of 1080p.
I wasn't mad at them I know its free I just hear people say how great it is I just thought I was doing something wrong.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
Some games are just fine ,others are unplayable, I'm happy with it though. Free is free.

The faces being blank in smash brothers is specific to one of the video plugins, try another one, that fixed it for me.
And for laggyness, try reducing the render resolution, this makes a big difference, the N64 isn't going to benefit from 1080p anyways
Sent from my MB860
Seems responsive enough, even on Goldeneye. But I'm displaying at 720p on my old 37" Vizio. My non-techy girlfriend is having a ball playing ZeldaoT.

+1. Just can't map controllers 2-3.
n64oid is better
So the video camera app is pretty useless due to the horrible auto focus on speed, so I need a new one - any recommendations that works well with the G2. Has to be able to record [email protected]

Try ProCapture. I've used it for a long time, it's even better on the G2 and does [email protected] Just tested it and focus seems to be fairly good.
I have the paid version, but they have a free one to try before you buy.

Install lgCamera from the Play Store. It's the best replacement I've found for the video issue. I've been using the free for a bit, seems to work so I'll likely shell out the dough to buy it outright.
I've tried several apps (Lenovo Super Camera, Focal, a few others whose names I forget) and none of them worked as well for me as the lgCamera did. Good luck.

Unfortunately it cannot record 60fps.
Tap to focus
Does anybody know of a video camera app that has tap to focus rather than continuous autofocus?
