Dent in touchscreen

I just dropped the remote of the tv on my X7500 and now there is a small dent in the touchscreen. The LCD is not damaged. Does anybody know whether there is a fix for this, eg can the touchscreen only be replaced, or is it part of a total module with the LCD panel?

As far as I know it is possible to detach the touchscreen from the main LCD.
The touchscreen is a thin film surrounded by a metal frame which clips over the edges of the LCD (like the top part of a board-game box!). It is fiddly to remove without the right tools and is furthermore connected by a small ribbon connector.
It may or may not be cost-effective to buy the touch screen - I have a big scratch in mine and would like a new screen, along with some other bits but I don't know where to source components.

Broken LCD

Hello all,
My Touch HD slipped from my hands and ended-up flat on the screen... the screen does not have a scratch, the digitizer still works perfect, but the LCD underneath is broken, so I get a black screen. I can still access the Touch HD via my PC thanks to MyMobilier, though (so why do I complain, huh?!!)!
I ordered a replacement LCD in Hong-Kong (thanks ebay!), got the HTC Service Guide, managed to remove the antenna cover (tough!) and dismantle the whole thing. But NOW I AM STUCK with the 'bezel', i.e. the cover, screen, digitizer, LCD, and metal plate with bolts all apparently glued together.
Anyone faced the same problem? Anyone knows how to separate the LCD from the screen and digitizer?

weird behaviour on hd2 when charging

Hi, I bought a cheap clear rubber case from eBay . I notice after I put the case on , I am unable to control the screen when I'm charging. Remove the case and it works again ? Anyone has seen something like that before ? Is this due the capacitive screen ? The case wrap over the edges of the screen though. Thanks !
For sure the rubber case is touching the screen so your HD2 can't recognize both your touches and also the rubber case touches, other than that I can't think of anything else that might have happend!
does the skin cover up the proximity sensor in the upper left ( you should see 2 circles O O when you hold the phone at a slight angle just to the left of the earpeice grille

[Q] Tiny white object under the glass screen?

Bought a Galaxy S4 on ebay a few weeks back. Didn't notice it at first, but when I sat down to apply a screen protector and wiped the screen clean, I noticed there is some sort of a micro object, like a white dot just under the glass. It is not a dead pixel, because it is there when screen is completely off, and when I tilt the phone and hold it at an angle I can see that LCD under this tiny dot is clean.
What the heck can it be? I doubt the seller changed the glass screen and wasn't careful when cleaning the LCD, but I suppose it is remotely possible since the phone has a nasty scratch with tiny chunks of plastic chipped off, on the bottom right corner of the silver bezel.
Anyone had a problem like this with their screen? Any way to fix this short of removing the screen?
Could be dust under the screen. If I was you I'd get it replaced if it bothers you. I dont think there is no way to remove it other than removing glass to clean it and reapply which I advice against.
