I have draft an email to Samsung Open Source to release the latest kernel source for Galaxy Note 2.
This time, they act fast and the kernel is released here:

After I purchase the LTE version, I would start the kernel development Thanks.
(Seems there is already a post mentioning that: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1926280 sorry for duplicated post)
Dear Samsung Open Source,
I have recently purchased the Galaxy Note 2 (N7100), can you release the latest kernel source code for it? Thanks very much.

Hey, i found the download links for Samsung GT-I8190 (all versions) source code
Open Source Release Center - GT-I8190
i think this is a important thing so i wanted to share it, hope this isn't posted before !
wrong place
it is a useful piece of information. But not supposed to be in developement section.
Just last week, Samsung started to roll out Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update to the Galaxy Note GT-N7000 and now have even released its kernel source code (This was quick!).
The Jelly bean kernel source will allow ROM developers to improve their custom ROMs for the Galaxy Note GT-N7000.
You can download the source codes here at opensource.samsung.com GT-N7000 (Galaxy Note)
via SamMobile
thats very good news!
