[MIUI PORT]Huawei X5 - New releases

Hi there
Well after some work , and lots of off-topic at the other MIUI port thread i've created this to share the rom's that i compiled.
For now i will leave there the MIUI 1.11.11 US version:

I've added to version 1.11.11:
-4way reboot menu;
-The fix released by stockwell for wi-fi problems
For what i've tested all things looks working great.But if you find something report that

Last time when i tried that portugal update phone did not boot... i had to force fully go for firmware update.... hope it wont happen now.

Can you share what was exactly the fix and what needs to be changed at the overlay for it to work?
Was it system/etc/firmware/wlan/qcom_cfg.ini ?

I've replaced the file load_libra with one that stockwell have shared to solv that problem. But i will post there the update.zip .

Somehow the fix wasn't working with your PT version. going to try again with your new release.

Some people report that the fix that stockwell have made works well , you have to get a little of luck to use the right fix from those i've shared .Because people says that the fix number two is working great and so that was the fix that i've used on this rom.

Installed nicely on top of 1.11.04, no errors so far.

Which one do i have to choose?? I think i'm using PT/En version.. Its with Turkish translation

@OzanSRC fix2 had work with me .

Fixes not working
Wifi connects and disconnects continuously......

just flash this version.
soft key lights not working properly. looks like a sensor issue.
sometimes workes sometimes not.
and sometimes the the lioghts come up by themselves and then turn off again without I even touch the device.
Anyone else have same issue or my device is haunted?

I tried all of em but nothing changed.. I have issue with downloads. All downloads stopped at %1 or nearly %50 on market download and game data downloads

Its because your WIFI connection goes OFF and ON continuously.....Just stay on the page where you switch on the WIFI and monitor

Which fix do we need to apply?

I'm staying where the download also dont go sleep but wifi goes on-off :S

DSP Manager FC constantly when playing music. So i just removed it.

i815 CyanogenMod 9 - can't connect WiFi

After fail with ICS (Austrian firmware) i have installed [I815/P6800/P6810] CyanogenMod 9 (7/19/2012) (from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1542911).
It looks and work great. Except that I can't connect to WiFi. My device detects two WiFi networks but it wont connect.
How to solve that?

I'm new in all this "rooting"/"flashing"/etc so I'm going step by step. I tried the link above and proud to say it - I made id btw Wifi is working now!
CM9 on i815 is great!

Good job. We are all new to rooting/flashing at some point but once we dive in, it's impossible to go back.

[How To] Fix Wifi Problems in Aurora

Okay, I been using Wifi a lot lately, and as other people.. in Aurora I been facing Wifi getting "stuck" it just grays out.. and there won't be an actual connection... so, I did research and I installed WiFix Manager
Simple Instructions
Download and install application - WiFix Manager
Give root permission
Click Advanced Configurations and enter your country code (instead of US) - Find your code here or here
Click Change Country Code
Click Check For Updates
Click Install WiFix
Restart phone and you are done
I been testing this for 3 days, I left wifi on for hours and even overnight. Before when I wake up in the morning it would always be greyed out.. now it's always nice blue reception! Let me know if this fixes it for you and if it does and we get positive feedback maybe we can convince dzo to implement this fix into his ROM.
FYI, I am using 4.1a, but I don't see why it would not work in later versions.

Wifix
I get way higher speeds in Aurora ICS 5.0 when using this app, it reminds me of the difference when i installed an Elora wifi-fix on an earlier version of Aurora.
My main problem in 5.0 is the touch screen problems, even after dzo's updates.

have you tried to replace the 1 wifi conf file for an older version?
I know that this fixed some wifi issues for many people including me. I can't remember the file name but it can be found in one the aurora thread in this section, I think.

I think this might be the one (refered to in Dzo's Aurora ICS for u8800 - General Discussion thread), but it has some issues. Disconnect and 3g doesn't turn on auto while out of range. If you have other tips, please tell.

yes thats the one m8.
for me worked like a charm when I couldn't get wifi in some roms.

unfortunately, it doesn't work for me. i have to go back to GB instead of ICS

By the way, wifi works perfect now without any app only the latest version of dzo's ICS ver5 update 9,

bugs/what's new/Gaming Performance on cm11

i just didn,t wanted to bother dev's every time on development thread so made this one!! found that there are many other threads which are asking questions related to only one ROM cm11....so why don't make only 1 thread and start discussion!!!

Wifi Hotspot Not working in CM 11 build 20131214 by Pawitp.
I just upgraded from build 20131211 to build 20131214 and Found that Wifi hotspot is not working. It shows "Error".
I rebooted phone several times but it didn't worked.
Hotspot was working well in previous version
Does anybody faced this problem?
I tried to post in development thread but since I am a new member I was unable to do so.
Now Downloading Build 20131215.let's see if this reoccurs.

same happening in my build too...realized now
latest build might not have that problem !

i asked and pawitp replied that tethering is working in latest build hope i helped!

I just realized WiFi is not working

Wifi is working fine here. Do you use k2wl's evolution kernel?

Yes,You are right.but i didn't flashed any k2wl's kernel
1. I installed the build 20131214 again, wiped cache.
2. after booting wifi was working.
3. I tried to enable Wifi Tethering but again same error.
4. I tried to enable Wifi. But it didn't.
5. I rebooted system and wifi was working.
I am attaching the screenshots.
May be tethering error is causing that.
BTW Thanks for mediafire link for 20131215. Downloading failed 2 times on goo.im link.

strange, I got it working without a clean install...

as far as per my experience... wifi related and any connectivity related bugs r fixed in latest build......and i dint do clean install too...:what:

I am trying to port CM10 for a low cost device Samsung Galaxy Trend S7392. I am trying to bring up wifi but no success. The Wifi Setting Screen always show Turning Wifi On.
To debug I tried to run wpa_supplicant manually and found that it is working fine. Here is what I did:
1) Run wpa_supplicant manually : wpa_supplicant -Dnl80211 -iwlan0 -c/data/misc/wifi/wpa_supplicant.conf -e/data/misc/wifi/entropy.bin -dd &
2) Run wpa_cli : wpa_cli -p /data/misc/wifi/wlan0
>scan
>scan_results
I get a list of WIFI APs available around me. But I am unable to turn on WiFi on my phone anyhow.
Any help will be highly appreciated. Please find attached logcat for more reference.

Try installing a stable build. Not all CyanogenMod ROMs are compatible with the hardware of the device. Sometimes Bluetooth or GPS doesn't work for me.

Yes! I got it working on my S7392. However, I haven't released the ROM yet. If u want you ca compile the ROM youself. Sources are at https://github.com/trivalent/dev

What are the main functionalities that are not working? Does the dual SIM work properly?

Can someone help this guy? Please someone compile the rom and give an link to us for testing and reporting bugs
