I have one that I love, called "Real Dice MC Poker" (Texas hold 'em). Microsoft was giving it away free to anyone who signed up for their new "Windows Phone Insider" website (the web compliment to the new Mobile Device Center).
I just checked, and it looks like it's still there. I've tried several poker games on WM, and this one is the one I like the best by far.

EDIT: Tried it a few more times, finally loaded the page with no prompt. Not sure what the issue was but it's all good now

Don't know if this is legal way to get it, but you can just google, the top ten TP2 games, and you know how can you get around getting if for free: list of games that you may enjoy playing on your tp2, as much as I do:
Spiderman,
DOM2,
Prince of persia,
Sonic
x some motorcycle game 3D,
call on duty or something, I have them all saved on my sd card, so it doesn't use the phone memory, all of them nice, and smooth graphic.

Games on the Rhodium are pretty scant. It seems that even the older pocket pc titles have issues running properly, and most just can't work due to the lack of face buttons. Xtract is the only decent game I've been able to get working, other than that standard emulators.

Xtract is really cool. Here and there it freezes for a second or two and continues but I think it's just because the phone is mad because TP2 didn't gte the snapdragon processor...comon HTC...phones have feelings too ^_^

I used to love Kevtris on my XDA Orbit - the rotating scroller was perfect for controlling the blocks.
Have tried it on TP2, and just not happy with any controls any more.
Shame.
What I would really like is a good driving game that uses the G-sensor!

it work really well when I had it on the dash. Also the game Xtract, is lovely on the TP2 no delay at all. nice one JH20001

Where did you find Towers of Glennoi and Azgard defence? I don't want to buy them only to have them run buggy on the phone? They work well?

Towers of Glennoi is free you can even check the site for other games but idk if it's games you'll like. you can even click the "skyler17" on my sig he has some other games there also.

I just purchased the Fake Call app on marketplace. I did not give me a chose when to intall it, it automatically installed in my main memory.

True. Marketplace apps install directly to the device, with no option to install on the SD card, unfortunately.

Psx4droid any way to use on gingerbread?

anybody been able to use psx4droid on gingerbread? i like gingerbread but not being able to use psx4droid is keeping me from using it

No...not yet, i am in the same boat as you, non of my Emulators are working for the 2.3.2 update. but there is an alternitive to a 'Psx' Emu for the android 2.3.2(gingerbread) that every body is hyping about. it is called FPSE for android. it was just release, they say it is compatible with 2.2+ and the fps is much MUCH faster then psx4droid. it is around $5 ,you are able to find it within the android market.
i am thinking on getting it but i am still bum'd that i paid for psx4droid, and now i gotta pay for another psx emu just to keep up with the ROM updates :/

That's just the way it goes these days. As soon as you pick your device up from the store shelf, it's outdated before you get out the door... Especially with phones becoming more and more like computers...

i have used fpse for winmo hope it is better on android was not impressed with it on wimo

FPse does not work
Neither PS1 emulators work with gingerbread. they both ask you to load a game, then when you do the program crashes out. Very sad but hopeful and update to PSXdroid comes out(one the includes a joystick)*hint hint*

Maybe if you checked the original post date, you could see why it's not working on cm7 rc4 . Hopefully by now they've updated and it works fine, because I know rc4 wasn't out in feburary.

just downloaded FPse and works gr8 with crash bandicot warped. Emulation is a bit slow, but still decent. About your 5$ issue feel free to stick on aptoide, got a few releases on baazar for free.

[2011-05-24] Running Tegra-based Games using Chainfire3D :)

I just sold my SGS1 and bought an SGS2. but well, something is giving me... headaches...
Well, first thing I thought: This phone is so new that applications don't support it yet! (*EDIT* The first thing was right. It's all application support issues..)
My guess is... I need to upgrade my ROM. (*EDIT* Wrong. We need to wait, or get a plugin for Chainfire3D.)

The truth is that most HD games available right now weren't designed for the MALI-400 GPU chipset of Galaxy S 2, but instead for NVIDIA's Tegra devices.
These devices use a hardware-accelerated texture-compression algorithm (S3TC\DXTn, n € 1,2,3,5) that IS NOT SUPPORTED IN MALI-400
So the most simple solution is hoping that SGS2 hits BIG on the sales market, so that Devs start to make HD Games for SGS2. IMHO, it will happen soon.
Another solution is to use Chainfire 3D tool and Plugin API to make a conversion plugin.
The plugins are illegal to distribute, but a simple Googling will give some results
Right now, I was unable to produce my own plugin (too much coding involved) and the plugins we've found online crash on most games.
So current step is: Code better plugins, OR, Wait for a better Chainfire3D version (driver)

Updates doesn't help until the games developers realease the working version on SGS II.
The games u see on youtube may be downloaded from games hub...
Somes games on SGS 1 still work on SGS II, u may try the games listed in app and theme section.

Not sure about most of these but I know that Dungeon Defenders doesn't work because it's for Tegra processors only.

There must be some system corruption! SpeedX looks EXACTLY like running it on HTC Magic. Believe me, no textures.

Reckless Racing from the Market works fine on my SGS2. Is this RR Lite, or the full version, and did you install it through the Market?

Dungeon Defenders doesn't work, Reckless Racing does! I hope all developers start making some SGS 2 compatible versions of the existing games this is terrible.

Pretty sure the Tegra one isn't out yet
But I'm interested to know if what The Right Honourable Sir pulser_g2 (to use the proper honorific) linked to allows you to play all Tegra 2 games, or just a decent subset?

! You need to share those plugins! The second I get my s2 I'm going to buy the chainfire 3d app. And possibly donate too. I mean just out of principal what that guy is doing is pure diluted awesomeness.

- My phone IS OK, the problem was, afterall, Application Compatibility. Not the ROM.

Asphalt 6 and Dungeon Hunter 2 no longer work after ICS?

So I got my A500 yesterday, updated to ICS this morning, and downloaded my free Gameloft games this evening. NOVA 2 works without a hitch, but Asphalt 6 comes up with a "Could not Play Movie" error twice then just sits there. Dungeon Hunter 2 just straight crashes when you try to start it. Anyone get these to work? I'm assuming its typical Gameloft crappy programming and an ICS problem.

Hi, for the movie not playing go download Mobo player and the codec pack. Worked for me. As far as far as Dungeon hunter goes I haven't tried it after my upgrade. But if it doesn't work right now you may just have to wait for an update from Gameloft...

LOL Will have better luck waiting to win the lottery! Shadow Guardian has been broken from Day 1, as in the game cannot be completed, they know about it, and still haven't fixed it. It came out last summer.
As for Mobo player, theres like 20 CODEC packs, which one do I need?

i can play Asphalt 6 i bought on Playstore. 3 free games i got are DH2, Asphalt6 and NOVA2. Only NOVA2 can play on ICS, DH2 crash, Asphalt 6 didn't test.

When I installed it I was prompted by the app. It directed me to the market to download MoboPlayer Codec for ARM V7_VFPV3.
As far as updates from Gameloft go. Some things get fixed, some don't. If it doesn't work shoot them an email, explain, wait a week for a response, choose your new other free game and respond, wait another week and when you get that response, download and enjoy your new, not dungeon hunter, game.
Or just do what DOOM12 suggests, or both...

Downloaded the codec and mobo finds and plays the intro but when I try to run the actual game is still gives me the error.
And yes they do give free games which is nice, problem is I own basically every one that I want to play on my Xperia Play including these games, I would just like to play them on my tab as well.

Should I maybe uninstall and delete Asphalt 6 and try to re-install it now that I have moboplayer and the codec? Is there something I need to do to have the game use mobo to play the intro?

The codec will not help the game play. it only helps to play the videos separately.
It's always possible that a reinstall could help though it may take an update from Gameloft before it works again.
I just downloaded Asphalt 6 on to my A500 and it is working for me in ICS. Try a redownload including data to see if that helps.

Lol, you don´t need a special codec to play the game, like I told you, in htcmania forum are the gameloft and EA games cooked for Escorbutopia for asus tft101, that can be played in our iconia a500 tablets because they are compatible.

Nothing I can think of. Sorry. Perhaps it doesn't like something you have going on in your device. Have you tried backing everything up and starting fresh to see what happens?

I'm just rooting it now. I could do that but I literally bought it, OTA updated it, and then downloaded those games, so I don't know that anything could have affected it...

asphalt works for me. it asks to download an extra 5mb when you change rom,that's all.

I have factory reset my A500 with stock ROM a few times now and installed the "newest" version provided by Gameloft support... no joy! WTF this is what you get for buying games! I should really start pirating them if this is the quality you get!
Tried the mobo thing didn't even play the movies.

This theory is right, the version their site is providing is 1.1.6 which is probably why it doesn't work. I sent them an email and told them this, and the guy emailed me back and offered me 2 free games, but never sent me the updated Asphalt 6, (instead he said they are "sending the issue to the dev team") so I'm gonna email again and say hey this is what I want!
