No...not yet, i am in the same boat as you, non of my Emulators are working for the 2.3.2 update. but there is an alternitive to a 'Psx' Emu for the android 2.3.2(gingerbread) that every body is hyping about. it is called FPSE for android. it was just release, they say it is compatible with 2.2+ and the fps is much MUCH faster then psx4droid. it is around $5 ,you are able to find it within the android market.
i am thinking on getting it but i am still bum'd that i paid for psx4droid, and now i gotta pay for another psx emu just to keep up with the ROM updates :/

That's just the way it goes these days. As soon as you pick your device up from the store shelf, it's outdated before you get out the door... Especially with phones becoming more and more like computers...

i have used fpse for winmo hope it is better on android was not impressed with it on wimo

FPse does not work
Neither PS1 emulators work with gingerbread. they both ask you to load a game, then when you do the program crashes out. Very sad but hopeful and update to PSXdroid comes out(one the includes a joystick)*hint hint*

Maybe if you checked the original post date, you could see why it's not working on cm7 rc4 . Hopefully by now they've updated and it works fine, because I know rc4 wasn't out in feburary.
Not to be hating, but I just find things like that amusing

yay your headup makes my day
just downloaded FPse and works gr8 with crash bandicot warped. Emulation is a bit slow, but still decent. About your 5$ issue feel free to stick on aptoide, got a few releases on baazar for free.
Thx for the info on this emu, works great on galaxy ace ginger xxkpe

works fine on all roms i use, even fpse or n64oid never had a problem here

No, not yet. It's supposedly being worked on by the same team that did the PSX emulator.

That is awesome! I would pay $30 for this app. Yongzh has said he is working on it for android. He created many of the current emulators, and in my opinion, the best ones. I imagine that like the PSX4droid app he made, not all ROM's will work on it, but even if I could run just a few of my favorite classics. I am thinking GoldenEye, MarioKart 64, Starfox 64, and Zelda.
These emulators, plus an AOSP rom with bluetooth fixed, wiimote controller app. That would really pass time at work, on a plane, in a hotel, on vacation with the inlaws. I can't wait.

ZodTtd, the dev of psx4droid, is in the middle of making one.
A few days ago he posted on twitter saying that he is experiencing a bug where nothing shows up on the screen. I'd imagine once he solves this, a few tweaks will be made then he will probably hand it over to Yong Zhang for him to work his magic (control overlay, settings etc)
This is exactly what happened with psx4droid
Maybe would should start a bounty to help move this along.
15$ Here
-decent fps with no sound
-bluetooth gamepad support
I don't have any java experience, but I have reasonable experience in other programming languages. When I get the time, I may take a look at porting it. If the full source code is available, should be hugely difficult to port. It'll be the optimisation that'll be difficult.

[Q]Are there any GBA, etc emulators for Android on HD2?

So, I've been looking around for a GBA emulator running on Android (since it's my primary OS as of darkstone's SuperRAM), and the only one I've heard good things about is GameBoid, but it just FCs every time I try to open a ROM.
Would anyone happen to know of a GBA emulator that they *know* works with the HD2?
Also, I'm sure some people would appreciate other working emulators if you happen to know of any. Thanks to everyone in advance!

Personally I recommend Droidemu. http://slideme.org/application/droidemu I got it when it was only $4 but it's still worth $10 because it emulates almost everything. It had great performance even on my old crappy HTC Fuze so it should run flawlessly on the HD2. Only drawback is it must be purchased through Slideme; only the free lite version without savestates is on the market.
Thanks so much for the quick responses, guys. It actually turned out to be an issue with my browser when downloading ROMs, so I'm using GameBoid without any issues now.

Getting a G1

Hey guys, I bought a G1 on EBay for 78 bucks ( pretty cheap considering the device has regular wear and tear) and wanted to dominate the thing with awesome mods etc. Anyone know a nice stable and fast froyo build? If there is one with Sense I will take that as well and as a side note... is multi touch enabled on these roms? Multi touch like the Nexus S has?
Sent from my Xoom
If you want froyo, you should try out froyo by lazlo, if you want gingerbread, try cos-ds gingerbread
Sent from my HTC Dream using XDA App
Multitouch enabled on most custom roms, from 1.6 to current.
do also check on how to upgrade the spl and radio of the phone if it has not been upgraded, as this would give you extra 14mb of ram which is very precious for the g1. Links are at my sig
welcome to the g1 community and have fun flashing!
So what use is the radio for? Just some extra ram? Anyone got a link for a stable froyo or gingerbread build? Which ever is most stable I will take, if there is a version with Sense then I will take that. Also what's with this 32a and 32b stuff? Are there specific versions of roms? Cause that would kind of suck lol.
Sent from my Xoom
yes, with it you'll get around 110 of ram, which considered as a lot for g1, froyo, go for froyo by laszlo or froyofortrout or ezterry's official aosp ota.
GB, try cosds or ads. laszlo's and the GB links are at my signature. open up the web version of the forum if you cant see them from the xda/tapatalk app. happy flashing!

they are very fast, but this varies with the settings that you use on them. what is the name of the app? i think you can try adb pull it, and push it again. ive never seen the app cz i bought mine pre-installed with another custom rom, lol
Uh here I have a video by Phonedog:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rm777yg4WvA&feature=youtube_gdata_player
Skip a little when he starts talking about Instant Messaging etc. I thought it looked pretty cool and a bit better than Trillian such. I tried it on my Nexus S, and it kept crashing. Is there a way to keep that app? Also I am planning on overclocking the device does it improve performance? I just want a ROM that isn't going to bog down the experience, I don't use live wallpapers and the most I want to play is Angry Birds and Fruit Ninja, can it run that if it's all stock?

the app might not be compatible with gingerbread, plus the original g1 received only up to 1.6 as the official update, but you can always try later on with your preferred custom rom. OC does improve, but personally, im not using it, the default is good enough for me, your needs might be diffrent.
angry bird is playable with this script, but it is not that smooth, but still playable . have not tried ninja, most of the 2d games work well so far. for good gaming experience, your nexus s would be much2 more better lol
hope it helps

Hmmm, would overclocling make the gaming experience any better? I mean I know that emulators work well because they were made on the G1, saw videos of people using it on a G1 as well. I am not going to have my Nexus S for a good week or two for repairs, so I need a device to substitute it.

the limitation here is the ram and also the gpu in g1, it uses adreno 130, which is very old, phones with slightly higher gpu, adreno 200 have much2 better performance eventhough they are only one model newer.

I might just suggest using gingerbread in particular 'ginger yoshi'. I recently also purchased a G1/Dream off ebay and decided to mod it and just tonight loaded ginger yoshi 7.1.1 onto it (android 2.3.3) and it is working flawlessly, before gingerbread i was running froyo (cyanogenmod 6.1.0 magpie) but yoshi's build is so much more snappier.

I know that a lot of the emulators disappeared a bit ago.. however asking people to do a search for "Where are Tigers" would likely give off articles on Southeast Asia or India. ^_^ (real tigers, instead of Tiger emulators)
I used FPSE then purchased rom fetcher: playstation, to download marvel vs capcom
i highly recommend rom fetcher for people who dont no how to get roms the traditional way or cant be bothered

Is Tiger Arcade being pulled from the market? Daaang....
EDIT* looks like all the Tiger apps are gone....
All Tiger Apps here:

They are free, there is no need to hide.
Be warned though, latest version of TigerArcade (which runs Marvel vs. Capcom perfectly) does not have save states, and the old version with save states does not work.

Absolutely doubtful. Sega, who allegedly had yongzh's emulators pulled, has not announced any plans to release anything for Android. I'd point at Gameloft who has certain interest in the XPlay but just don't want competition for the new games from the emulated ones.

If Gameloft wants to push out something original to compete with what we'd be emulating, they're more than welcome to.
Based on their other near-IP-theft jobs, I think they'd be the best candidate to try re-creating MvC... or some 2D fighter that brings mobile phone gaming out of the touch-screen-limited ghetto.

PsXperia Patched By Sony In 2.3.4 Update

Hey Guys,
You may get new features on the 2.3.4 update..
HD Video Recording, Auto Brightness Switch etc
But Sony have patched the games laucher so PsXperia no longer works.
Sony think they are smart, but surely PsXperia will be fixed in due time.

If they just dont show up in the games launcher then its not a big deal.

So does it work or not? I've hear both cases. Also, someone get a logcat of it when trying to run a game. I'm afraid it's not going to be easy to "fix" if they truly wanted to stop it. Someone's going to have to do a lot of work.

I've reboot a few times and it's not working for me.
My post count isn't up to 10 yet so I cannot post in the official PSXperia release thread.
Anyway, I have been using FPse until now, today I have tried PSXperia for the first time and want to thank yifanlu for a wonderful bit of software, it is running Mr.Driller G much better than FPse and that's really all I need to be happy with the software.
Furthermore, I am running 2.3.4 OTA which was updated from a rooted generic HK 2.3.2 -> 2.3.3 installed on a Canadian Play via wotanclient. I never tried PSXperia on 2.3.X but it's working fine in my 2.3.4 - actually I should add, the application flashes a quick message and quits immediately, but upon starting the application again it runs fine. So maybe it's just stock 2.3.4 having problems?
edit: DISREGARD THE ENTIRE THING ABOUT THE ANDROID VERSION. I just checked and realized I am on 2.3.3 after all - strange since I thought I had updated to 2.3.4. Sorry!!!
Interesting. Can anyone confirm this?
Sent from my R800i using XDA App
I think PSXperia is still no longer in development. so we won't be able to play psx games with psxperia on 2.3.4
My sincere apologies, I honestly thought I was on 2.3.4, but it turns out I have been on 2.3.3 all this time. I must have gotten myself confused with updating another device. Sorry to get everybody's hopes up, this was my mistake.
