I wanted to ask you 2 things about the official Cyanogen:
1) because they lack the live wallpaper?
2) lacks the effect "Standby TV"
use cm_shakira_full-20.zip
Don´t use the official CM, use GingerDX.
anyone? where you can download the live wallpaper for official CM?
+1
+1 for the official CM Live Wallpaper if there is any

is there a custom firmware similar with stock one with no modification and has live wallpapers ?
Wildpuzzle is the closest to what you are looking for. It has all the features of stock and has support for LWPs.
but is it stable ?does it have bugs ?
Of course it is stable. I have used it before switching to CM7, and had absolutely no complaints. As for known bugs, I dont think there is any. If you wish to use Wifi hotspot + OC support, get kernel 0055 from OLD Wildpuzzle thread.
Hello guys I open this topic / poll to do a survey on how you would like a ROM, now there are hundreds in the space of all types and is easy to fall in copying. The rom once you have chosen the type will be updated twice a week, except for the lack of news ROM sammy.
First question:
Which base to use?
Remember OpenToAll :laugh::good:
What I would love is a CM10 ROM with a Touchwiz framework or whatever that would let me run some Samsung Apps as SCalendar (SPlanner) or the new Samsung keyboard from XXLSJ with swype/slide to write which works awesome.
But I know it's not really possible...
all the features of latest xxlsj, stability of touchwiz, speed of aokp plus some features like nav bar etc
Oh no.... A placeholder...
Hope you guys can help me answer 2 quick questions I have:
I.) I just got my Oppo Find 5 today and installed the latest MIUI ROM (Recovery and Rooted) and was wondering if you can simple update the ROM via the MIUI app that come pre-installed. Is that possible?
II.) Between the Color ROM, MIUI and PAC ROM, which do you find better and why?
My take:
MIUI
Has lots of features that I use like VOIP integration, blacklisting, permissions etc. but is very laggy when it comes to opening folders.
Color ROM
Very snappy, but it's missing a lot of features that MIUI has
PAC
Haven't installed it yet : ( Does it have the feature of MIUI too?
Thanks
Hi, I went to the official CM download pages and I only see a 10.2 nightlies, which is what I am currently using.
However I am seeing a lot of 4.4 AOSP roms, and I saw the official 4.4 stock image from google too.
So I am just wondering......is CM out already?
Quite frankly I dont use any CM exclusive features. ALL I am looking for is battery % and AM/PM on the clock, no I wont use apps to show battery % they are way too ugly I cant stand it.
If anyone have any work arounds using stock, or can recommend any rom with said features, please leave a comment
I wanted to know if cm engine can be ported since yotaphone 2 rom is not heavily customised.
Sent from my YD201 using Tapatalk
also I wonder whether it is possible to make the port the CM or miui firmware on our device? Even like the kernel source code is.
I´ll also interesting for a cyanogenmod or miui or oter costum rom for yotaphone 2, but i don´t find it. Can someone port cm etc. for yotaphone 2?
OK so we never got CM for Yotaphone but can we still play around with the stock software? Would be great if stock software were able to be modded with black background. The more black and white themed software we could get the better and easier it would be to use the back screen. The more contrast the better.
Please check for example SlimRom's "The real dark slim" theme. That would be perfect for two reasons: black uses less power on AMOLED screens and black and white Android theme would look perfect on back screen.
I tested to do a modded firmware (apps removed, some fonts tweak ....) with this guide : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1801690 , the firware generation is ok but the current TWRP can't flash it.
So if we can't found a way to flash it, it's useless
