mysterious 1.0

first & foremost...this is the coolest rom ever....speed....graphics(awesome)....but with only one problem...i cant use internet with usbcable...any suggestion...i ve been using before flashing....

Hi, I've been using Mysterious for a few months, but last week I switched to Gullums new Diamond rom (faster and cooler than Mysterious in my opinion).
Anyway I cannot remember about the internet via USB bug. I will flash back to Mysterious tonight and will test it.
I'll let you know when I finish...

I m sorry i was oversmart configuring the vpn servers and all that ...i deleted all account and it started working...but it hangs time & again while browsing......thank u very much though to reply so soon..

I´ve posted this questions an hour ago in the MDJ Build Thread, but due to the fact that i´ve tried darkstone ROM within the last minutes and my problem also occurs here too, makes me think that this is a fundamental (radio, winmo, whatever) problem and it belongs here! I hope my doublepost is forgiven

Have you checked your APN settings? Google is your friend for finding the correct settings, and that's usually the culprit for no data.

If in doubt about APN's then delete them and restore from default (menu button) that works for me.
Mind you I still get annoying dropped connections all the time, but thats a know PPP(?) error.

Yes i´ve checked the APN settings...everything is correct here. One interesting point that I forgot to mention is the fact that according to the settingsmenu there is a connection...but neither browsing nor any other webbased application works.

im having the same issues as well tried. ive run madejee sense clean, and bluetopia roms and had the issue with both. apn is setup. data shows connection but will not connect to internet or anything

i just updated to the latest kernel
that seemed to help data
maybe a good idea to try?

nope, like said in the first post, i´m on the newest recommended Kernel (S6)

you tried changing your startup.txt to conn_type=rmnet over ppp??

got same problem with CleanSense from MDJ and all s# kernels
did my own thread but no one answered
Data conection works for me only on HyperDroid 1.7 but battery drain in there is a big 'no no'

TMOUS data package: try call 611 to ask for a change to android data package.

Did you set up Data Connection in Windows Mobile?
Are you in Flight Mode in Windows Mobile?
1st: Try to establish a data connection in Windows Mobile then boot your Android Device.
2nd: verify your APN settings in Android
3rd: don´t set the phone in Windows Mobile to flight mode.
4th: try a different Radio ROM

I just ran the FroYo 1.6.S3.1 build and I'm having the same issue.
This is the first build I've had a problem with, both Mdeejay_eVo and Mdeejay S4 worked fine.
Where can I dl the latest kernal?

I have have flashed a new Radio yesterday (2.15.50) and now I´ve realized, that I can´t set up a connection under WM as well! Now I´ve flashed on Duttys WM ROM...same issue, no Internet Connection.
Any ideas??

Same issue here... I tried the operator's settings but same and same issue always.... I'm on mdeejay revolution 1.6. I suppose nobody's got a fix ? =/

I dont know if that help but i think someone could check differences between Hyperdroid 1.7 build (or kernel inside) and for ex. CleanSense and S-type kernel from mdjs

Edit: ok i found a difference : on all latest ppp builds cant get data connection, rmnet builds works like charm.

im having the exact same issue. im using an energy rom for wm.. wich i love. and just loaded froyostone sense 3.2 and it shows i have a connection but everything says i dont. im realy new to this and this site has helped me learn things that i didnt think was possible but im stuck now

Problem with Custom ROM

Ok here's my problem i installed this ROM :

And my Problem is when i try to connect to internet via facebook app oder Market app it wont work... But with for example normal preinstalled brwoser is working fine.
Someone maybe got an idea?

Use v0.15 Floyo! It's smooth, stable, and except video recording everything works for me.

How to read already in the current thread to the ROM have some users a WiFi problem.
Is there a workaround until a real fix will be?

Wi-Fi problem...
I have Wi-Fi issue with this ROM too. Entered WEPKEY but it keep saying "Obtaining IP address from xxxxxxx(network name)". Then Wi-Fi disconnect for a second and reconnect and repeat same process.
Any help?

You can try static IP for it.
I don't have this issue on my Phone but I will check and fix it on next version

THERE'S NO PROBLEM WITH WIFI
its all about what u do when u first install the rom............
when uve flashed the rom,let it boot,when set up wizard appears,DO NOT SETUP GOOGLE ACCOUNTS OR WIFI.......NOTHING,keep on clickin NEXT,NEXT,NEXT,when it goes to ur home screen,reboot,this time,set up google accounts and wifi etc,THEN REBOOT.................should work perfectly then

That's weird, WiFi is working fine on my TmoUS, but I still cannot use the wifi tether, the one provided in the ROM (third party) activates the wifi but gives me a limited connectivity on my laptop!
There are no LAN settings as such, can anyone help me out with that?

With static IP, the HD2 connect with the router, but it can not connect to INET.
I tested different kernel. without success ...
I do not think it's the kernel.

So my Wifi problem is solved.
It was because of my Powerlan. This is connected between my router. A firmware update solved the problem.
Many thanks to all involved users.
Perhaps this Information knowledge will help one or the other users.
BtW: It was not a general problem, only with newer ROMs

I had a Wi-Fi problem with version 6.0SE. Then I removed it and flashed version 6.0 regular edition and Wi-Fi problem solved. So far I love this ROM (thanks 'langthang'). I haven't try newer version yet but definitely will try when it's stable because HD2 is my everyday phone.

No one can confirm the working wifi tether?

im now using v7 and also had wifi issue and bluetooth wouldnt start. I changed kernal to Rafpigna 2.0 OCGB (links on the op for v7) and can confirm all now works like a dream making v7 very stable and useable rom

Wifi Problem in Frayo

Hello all please help me
i have moved my rom from cm7 to stock rom (RUU...exe)
now i am not getting wifi connection from my laptop, but i can get wifi connection from any router device from anybody...
please tell me the process to fix it

p.s. re install of the rom usually helps.

Try to update the radio. Worked for me.
