hi there this is my first post.
can any help me here im going out of my mind.
before i flashed my phone everthing worked great.
flashed the phone to lots of different cooked roms but al is same.
phone workes great with cooked rom but 1 big problem.
everytime i try to connect to the internet is says.
there is a problem to the gprs service in your registered home network.
im on vodaphone and i get 500 me data service a month.
i tried putting in settings but can access the net.
can any1 help me thx in responce
Looks like you will have to flash a radio rom too.
Look in the HD2 rom development section. The radio roms thread should be stickied near the top of trhe first page.
I apologize if this has already been discussed. I couldn't find a solution when I searched the issue.
My problem is exactly what the title states. I can't get tether or wifi to work on any ROM since updating to 2.2. I used toast's method of rooting prior to 2.2 and I've always run Damage Control ROM until RC1 was realeased for Cyanogen Mod. I'm currently running RC2 and this is the only issue to speak of. Any insight on what might be causing this is greatly appreciated.

hello all
i have moved to my stock rom from cm7 recently...
i am happy with my stock rom but i can't connect it to wifi.
when i enable the wifi then my phone does not find any wifi network...
i have tried some third party app...but no result

I just tried ROM:
[23.JAN.12] [cLK][MAGLDR] Android 2.3.3 Sense 2.1 NAND (Desire HD 2.50.405.2)
and i cannot run wifi hotspot functionality.When hotspot is started it reboots phone (soft restart), after that hotspot cannot be started (error) until hardware retart is done.
then all over again
I tried with wireless thether versions 2.0.6 and 2.0.7, no luck.
with 2.06 lapotp connects but cannot get internet acces (limited conectivity).
any advices ?
I started this thred only because 10 post rule, normally i would post into ROM's thread
any help would be appreciated.
btw. ROM looks and feels very very nice - expect problem described.

I cannot get Wifi to work, I can see networks but cannot connect: message cannot connect to network.
Mine laptop connects without an issue
Can anyone share any light on the matter, as i cannot post any question to developers thread.

Hi all,sorry for my english.
I recived from USA a HTC mytouch 4g with network lock but rooted.
When i recived,software wanted to make some update but stop at the middle of updated,
Phone was network unlocked via websites who provide this future paying a fee.
Ok,i dont like the problem with that fail update,lets change the rom.
After i changed the rom...wifi dont want to work enymore,dont wanted to turn on.
Seeing this problem..ok,lets chnge to other rom. New rom works but wifi still dont turn on.
Now i have installed .[ROM][4.2.2]CodeFireX 27.02.13 Builded from SOURCE (taked from here,from this site) but wifi dont want to work,no ip,no mac address.
Im a noob but i can provide info if is needit.
P.S. i dont remember the first rom name,i know that haved some problems with that update,maybe becose phone was in other country or the rom haved some problems from first time..

Since you have had regional & network issues, maybe try rebooting without the sim card and see if wifi works. If wifi works when the sim card isn't inserted, then maybe you have this regional wifi problem http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2569937
If it doesn't, I don't know. Maybe try a different ROM. I'm using SteppNasty aospx (ICS), and it has working wifi. I can't remember which jelly bean ROMs have wifi issues, but I know Albinoman CM10.2 works. I feel like most of the ROMS I've tried have had working wifi, so I am thinking it isn't likely a ROM issue.
I did have a phone with a bad wifi chip before swapping the motherboard, hope it isn't that.

Nothing works.
After i have tryied 2 roms: gfx_glacier (somethig with FIRE) and Chameleon wich bouth dont have "internet pass-through" option..im moved back to the Android Revolution HD Glacier 7.0.4 who is for HTC Sense if im right but i still have internet over usb cable but with same problems:
- WIFI mac address - unavailable.
And offcorse changed my android version from 4.4.0 or something (how was with Chameleon) to 2.3.5 with android Revolution HD.
About wifi problem....maybe is a abd? (if im right) problem but i dont know how to use the command from pc over the phone,something about a ".ko" file...
Other thing that i notice is the problem finding roms who work with kermels. Some works,some dont. When you think you find something to download..the link is dead or expired.
Dont want to be rude,but some people must to upload kermels and roms to same thread becose a noob like me can have problems to understand which work with who
