something like this
first case
extract
resize (with imagemagick) to 320x569 (maintain aspect ratio)
crop pixels up and down, new size 320x480
edit desc.txt to adjust to new sizes
store in zip (no compress)
second image
extract
crop 110 left and right
crop 240 up and down
edit desc.txt to adjust to new sizes
store in zip (no compress)

DId you try Manila editor from the diamond thread? You need to rename tmobile.theme to tmobile.zip or .rar and extract all the files in one folder apart. Maybe you can´t view all the files but the manila editor recognize that files. Only you need to copy the graphics that you need.
Yep. I have tried it. And it works except for the t-mobile white background ??
Could anyone please post that background here ?
looking forward to the theme, would be very nice

if u use pic & video viewer on ur phone select a pic to set for ur today screen background and set transpencery level to 100 u will get a white screen
dont forget to change all ur text colors or u won't be able to see them
But that's not my point . The thing is I don't have that white wallpaper as on screen above. The one I have ripped from TMOBILE.THEME is distorted and pixelated. If anyone have it please post it here. The theme looks cool so far:
- I have orignal pink clock - animated in flash
- Original buttons and big buttons when scrolling.
Tomorrow I'll post some screens.
Is this any good to you?
Thank's but if you take a look closer at the screen above you can see that this is not exactly the same wallpaper. Thanks anyway.
so wait.. whos making it everyone or just u?
I am making it. I already have first page pretty much similar to original one. But I would appreciate if anyone could help me with getting original background.
Hey everyone. Thought I'd give this a shot and created these boot animations of a stylized Aurora Borealis.
It's meant for dzo's Aurora ICS ROM, hence why it says Aurora in the middle on some, but you can really use it anywhere you like it (as long as your screen is 480x800 pixels). I've licensed it as CC-BY-NC license, so use as much as you like.
Installation: Rename the file you downloaded to bootanimation.zip and use a root file explorer to move it to /system/media.

Previews for v1, v2, v3 and v4.
Updates
10. May 2012: I've managed to make the animation both smoother and chop off a whole second. I updated versions v2, v3 and v4 (complain if you'd like me to update it as well). They're the same speed, but more fluid and the files are a bit smaller.
Can you put a couple of pictures??
Mh, there are two preview GIFs. Maybe it's the host, I tried a new one. I've changed them to imageshack, hope you can see them now
Hello riDDimann,
Very nice bootanimation, I currently use v2. Well done and thanks
Maybe you could consider making one with a starry background (similar to kostasvr's bootanimation)?
@zephyr1988: Possibly. I kept the background simple for space reasons, but I've since found out how to lower resolution and it shows (v2 is smaller even though it has a much more complex animation). So there's some budget left
Edit: It took me some time (to realize that the horrible banding was introduced by PNG-optimizers), but I've made two more versions. Both without text and a starry background for v4.
Check out the first post, I've made some changes I bet you'll like

I don't really intend to make more versions. that would just clutter up the thread. But you can always unzip the archive and crop the images to fit.
I could upload the SVG source, but I don't think you'll get much out of it. At least at the time I found no tool that could export animated SVG, so I wrote one myself and it's not quite ready for release.
Cyanogenmod 'KitKat' edition
This is a two-part animation, the first part (not visible in the preview) scales the logo up continuing with the 'preview' part looping
Download from here
Installation instructions:
copy the file to /system/media
set permissions to 644 (rw-r--r--)
Please thank this and comment if you like it to keep the thread alive

Wow! Awesome! I tried to do something with the original logo, but I can't seem to install it on my Nexus 4. I hope yours will work on my Nexus 5 arriving tomorrow.
:highfive: Very sweet work!! I've found the 480x800 version works smoothly on CM11 12/27!! A suggestion, would like to see "KitKat 4.4.2" where "ANDROID" is, and have "ANDROID" at top?? Still a pleasure to use instead of stock!!

The Best of Google HD Bootanimation
Pretty Bored, So I create this simple bootanimation to replace the stock one, plus the filesize is quite minimal.

Do you push it right? Replace the stock bootanimation with this bootanimation. You might notice the filesize will be differs when you push it.
Works fine here, cheers

it seems like the logo is not well centered in some frames if you look at the gif you will see that it "moves"
however... Great Work!!!!
I like minimalism
edit: try this:
I added also more saturation... and corrected some little imperfections

Inspired by the theme recently shared by @Ben Ling, here is the pattern-lock screen...with Lego!
To do this yourself, you can download the icons attached to this post and put them into the appropriate drawable-?dpi folder in your decompiled framework-res.apk.
Or, if you're not comfortable with decompiling apk files, just flash the attached 'Lego_PattenLock_Flashable.zip' in CWM (not TWRP). This zip will push a file called 'android-res.apk' into your 'system/vendor/overlay' folder.
By using an overlay apk, it means that your framework-res.apk isn't touched. So you won't lose any of the mods you may have done to it. Pretty cool, no?
Oh, and this zip will make a flashable backup too! Just in case you don't like the changes. Also pretty cool.
(Or, if you use Tickle My Android, why not just let the tool do it for you? I've just updated it with these icons!)
Enjoy!
buddy rock hard.... keep up tha good work but i like tha transparent mod!
Outstanding! Any ideas how to remove the "Draw your pattern" text from the lockscreen? I tried reducing the textsize variable in keyguard.xml [framework-res.apk -> res -> layout -> keyguard.xml] but no effect.
Thanks for this mod!
I'm on 4.4.2, Galaxy Note III.

Have a look in your strings.xml.
Excellent thanks @Ticklefish ?
I had to rename drawables folder to ZUltra friendly res but besides that all good. Thanks again.. (transparent too, my new favourite)

^^ xhdpi - I'll need to resize the pngs at some stage too (didn't bother this time when testing)

No joy. I spaced out the "Draw your pattern" and "Wrong pattern" fields to test but the text is still there? Any other ideas of places to look?
Thanks for the info BTW!
