ZSJP8 Hong Kong ROM can work with the Super Optimized JPM-JP6 Kernel

I flashed ZSJP8 Hong Kong ROM and then applied the Super Optimized JPM-JP6 Kernel V3.2 in this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=811660
It works!
The Quadrant Score is now about 1900 to 2000 with 337M RAM available.
I have tested it for two days. So far there is no problem. The phone is flying....
Thanks for laststufo and sztupy for their contribution to the existence of such a beautiful tweak to the stock ROM.
Have you tried version 3_4 their latest optimized version?
Where can you download JP8 - fast?

Stock Kernel firmware 2.3.5 best battery life

Stock Kernel firmware 2.3.5 best battery life.
I Did a test, on 2.3.5 on the xxki3 and xxki4 , with the speedmod kernel s2-k2-16 and de Siyah kernel 2.1.1 and mu battery life is much better with the stock kernel.
What is our opinion. Did the test with the same setting and after a clean install.

[Q] Franco Kernel with stock?

Stock with Franco:
Will it work? Will it give the same benefits as CM 10.1?
Will OTA work? If I sideload OTA will I have to reflash kernel?
CM 10.1:
If I flash new ROM/update ROM, will kernel stay?
Thanks,
Yes the kernel will work. The kernel and rom in CM10.1 is obviously different to stock and francos so im not sure how they compare - try both yourself ?
Im not sure about OTA. I would just flash a AOSP stock ROM every time there is an update just in case if you want to stay on stock.
If you flash a new ROM no the kernel will not stay you have to flash the kernel again as CM10.1 (like most ROMs) comes with its own kernel that will overwrite your current one.
I've been wanting to ask this about faux's kernel since I'm having the (very common) msm_hsic_host wakelock issue. Since we're on the subject: does anyone have a suggestion for the most stable, closest to stock, AOSP ROM?

Android Oreo Stock Kernel

Does anyone know what stock kernel Android Oreo runs? I've upgraded to the latest stock build but I've been reading that Google has mandated that kernels should be at least 3.18 or higher and my device seems to be running 3.10.7
3.10.73 is right maybe 3.18 is for a different device?

Kernel for 7.0 firmware?

So, due to decreased battery life, i decided to root my gt9287c. I am now rooted under stock firmware with some debloating. I am now looking to install a custom kernel that supports 7.0 stock. Any recommendation? Thank you
