Stock Kernel firmware 2.3.5 best battery life - Galaxy S II General

Stock Kernel firmware 2.3.5 best battery life.
I Did a test, on 2.3.5 on the xxki3 and xxki4 , with the speedmod kernel s2-k2-16 and de Siyah kernel 2.1.1 and mu battery life is much better with the stock kernel.

Post your complete setup (ROM, Kernel, Modem) AND scores (quadrant, linpack)

Captivate is my first Android device, got it at launch and been flashing ever since.
We are very lucky with all the amazing developers cooking amazing ROM.
However, right now we have so many ROMs, Kernels, and Modems it can get confusing.
I think most users want speed, reliability and good battery life. So, I'm trying to find the optimal setup (ROM, Kernel and Modem).
Please post your: ROM, kernel, modem, battery life and scores (quadrant, linpack).
Here's mine today:
ROM: cog. v2.3b8
Kernel: SetiroNKernel_120Ver#143.
Modem: JK4
Max Clock (OC): 1200 Mhz
Battery: ~17h of normal use
Quadrant: 1750-1800
Linpack: 16-16.5
Force Close? Never
This has nothing to do with Development.

Most battery saving PDA

anyone know which PDA has the longest battery life? JS3, JS5, JPY, JPX..and many more
From my experience the jpy family of roms are all similar but the wifi and modems they come with has a big part to play.
I'm with jpy but used hardcores update. Zip to change to jpa firmware. I also use speedmod kernel and the latest jve modem which is seriously good on battery!
Be sure to do a factory reset before and after flashing.
Switching to jve modem massively improved idle drain.
Stock JPY, Insanity SpeedMod OC-1200Mhz/UV, ext4, JVE gingerbread Modem,
Eclair modems more battery savers than later modems .
jje
Really? I never found that myself... mind you I didn't stick with them long and it was a while ago...
Stock JPY, Insanity SpeedMod OC-1200Mhz/UV, ext4, JVE gingerbread Modem,
so can I actually flash a eclair modem together with froyo pda?

Rom: Cloudy G3 v3.3
kernel: dorimanx
Rom: Resurection remix
kernel: sweet lamba
Rom : cynaogen v12.1 ( more stable than cm13)
You are going to get as many different opinions as there are users.
For me AICP stock Kernel gives up to 9hours SOT and/or up to 3 days battery life.
Sonedays can be 5hours SOT and 1 day.

Which kernel for I9301I with stock 4.4.2 ROM?

I'm thinking about flashing a modded kernel on my s3 neo to improve performances and battery life
I found in the forum some kernels for stock and i saw the most populars and updated are the Sev3n Kernel and the STOCK v.3.7 UBERT gcc
I'm looking for something for everyday use and that everything works.
Could you help me on choosing pleeeease? ^_^
Sev3n Kernel bro
But i recomand you cm 12,is good, nice battery life and no bugs
Hmm maybe I'll try cm 12 too, the only thing that i don't like is the nfc support missing .-.
I use Renix kernel v3.7 zram,Seven good too, but it have overheating problem in heavy apps.

Best kernel for stock rom

What is the best kernel for tw rom?
I need performance and battery life.
I don't use fingerprint.
stock kernel
For me it's Boeffla Kernel.
What about Sparkplug?
At the moment i'm, using smartpack kernel. Working stable. You can un dervolt and set the RGB Level. Useful for Nightviewing.
But if you don't need any extgras i would prefer stock kernel. Good Battery, performance and stability.
I use stock kernel with Superlite stock rom. I noticed that phone is very hot sometime
Thread moved to Q&A
I flashed the last stock CRA2 with stock kernel and it is very good
