After searching the internet I've determined that Hulu Plus will not work on my phone because the ads are being blocked. But I've uninstalled ad blocker and cleared my cache with cachemate, and I still can't get Hulu Plus to work. Can someone help me out? Thanks so much.

I'm having the same issues on my Galaxy Nexus. I can watch ads but after that I get the annoying "network issues" message. Help on the subject would be appreciated.

"Sorry, the Blockbuster server cannot be found. Please make sure your device is connected to a data network (3G or Wi-Fi) and try again."
....... nope. haha
Kinda sucks..... i like Netflix for their FREE streaming with subscription.... but hate that they have delayed new movie releases. I like Blockbuster's online rental service due to getting new movies right away.... but they charge like $3-4 for one streaming movie. It's also nice that blockbuster has game rentals.... but lame that you have to wait like 3-6 months apparently before any of the new games are even available, but from my friend's experiences, GameFly isn't that reliable either.
*sigh*
Not working for me. Says need network connection and i have full bars not to mention im on wifi.

It was working for me for a minute. Where it usually says will be working in so and so days, it went straight to a.screen where it said thankyou for trying the app and they will let you try 1 movie free I guess. I just opened.the app again and your right now it says, the wifi 3g message. I should of tried to sign up when it was supposedly working.

It now says working! "Download in the android market" im trying it now.

I have downloaded the first version of the Blockbuster app 2.0.37. It will let you download the app from the market, but when you open the app it goes to a connection error message, saying it needs to be connected by 3G,4G, or WiFi. I then tried using WiFi to use it and it said it is connecting but then gives another error message saying carrier undefined? . Is this app ever going to be up and running!

I get the data error also, but not before first getting an error code 12012. Anyone else get that?
Yes! Finally got past all those error messages when trying to open the new Blockbuster app. First had to go to Blockbuster.com to register for a account, credit card ect. ,after you do that, you are supposed to verify your account with a numeric code they give you. Then your device will say activating, then brings you right to the Blockbuster App online store. Before the app went online it said on the advertisement app page that Atrix owners would get 1 or 2 free rentals, when the app starts working. I wonder how we get those free rentals? I will try it out now and post results, should stream well im guessing because of the Atrix's high res screen.

Ya I guess not, iam not sure if the Blockbuster app works with root. I just did a return and have not done the update yet, and it is now final working for me!

I don't think it really detects root right. I had rooted my phone but did the update and lost root. I still have the super user icon but any programs that require root don't work, yet I still get the error with the Blockbuster app that says root was detected. Pretty weak.

Hi guys
My friend has a nexus 7 and is having issues with the YouTube app. It buffers for 6/7 seconds then play for a second and buffers again. He doesn't have root so can't uninstall it. He's tried clearing the the cache and data to no avail.
Does anybody have any suggestions or advice?
I've had a quick search but could find any threads about this. Apologies if there is as I can only access xda from my Xoom at the moment.

For some reason the new Facebook app is giving me a Network Error message, even though the connection is fine. I have a S3, but it doesn't seem to be affected.
Here is a post I found about the issue:

I have had the same thing happen to me on my N4 and N7!! However, when I was getting the network error, I was using a verizon mifi hotspot. I tried uninstalling FB then re installed it, but it kept happening. However, when I took it home and was on tmobile's hspa+ network, I didn't really have any issue.

I am also having this issue. FWIW: Nexus 7 8GB

I'm on the GS2 and i'm having the same problem as well. Each new updates hasn't done a thing to fix this issue...
I get it on my phone and my Nexus, I think it is more of a problem with the app

i have the same problem. the new facebook app (version 2.0) always says network error. galaxy note, ICS4
In the gs2 forums, we decided it was caused by ad blockers. Is everyone here using one? It seems like the problem is fixed for me though.

Yeah I use adaway maybe that is it, I would rather go with out the face book app then go without a adaway
Sign up to Dropbox using my signature and we both get an extra 500megs free http://db.tt/YZjXmjTT

Just go to settings in AdWay > Your List > and uncheck graph.facebook.com
What worked for me was to log out of Facebook book, reboot, log in to Facebook. I haven't had a problem since with it.

Me too.
I had the same problem on my Defy & my S3. So I downloaded a app called FriendCaster. Works very well. I saw some other 3rd party apps too. Might help.
Messages that I keep getting? They are like spam or some bull**** and are pissing me off. They show up in the notification bar that I have credit cards to be claimed college grants to get. Plus I keep getting links for apps and crap on my home screen. This crap started this week and I haven't installed anything lately. I am running a stock rooted S4 with the total update and an ad blocker. I would appreciate any help at all this **** is annoying me. Thanks rant is over lol
Its probably one of your apps...many free apps have the ability to spam your status bar with ads...and ad blocker doesn't block all ads. Try disabling or uninstalling apps until you find the culprit

Try airpush detector. It should find the app that is causing the problem.
It worked great on my phone but my not on my dad's. My nephews downloaded a bunch of games on his phone and one or two of then were causing the problem. I just uninstalled them all and the problem went away.
Try updating your ad blocker.

Air push detector will definitely help find the app that is causing this. I had the same problem before as well.

I had no issue when I had Netflix last month, don't know if that helps at all. I prefer amazon prime anyways, especially now that they struck a deal with HBO
If you're trusting enough, I can try your login info on mine to see if it works here?

It's a known issue but with certain ISP not the device itself. Some ISP throttle Netflix traffic and even after some reached a compromise with Netflix it didn't get any better. Get a 30 day trial on a good VPN service and you will most likely see the problem go away.
Interesting. I heard people talk about VPN. . I'll give that a shot thanks
