Official ROM for Touch2 T3320(special version)

Hello! I just bought an htc Touch2 T3320.
I just messed around and corrupted it's ROM.
I searched a lot here but I can't find any "Official" ROM only for T3320.
I want the simple "Official ROM". And Please I don't want any stupid answers saying to install Touch2 T3333 ROM. Please if anybody has it please reply, otherwise 'Leave It'.

why don't u restore it with a hard reset, the binary files in use are not related with the installers, so u can restore and bring it back to life

Ummmm.....After posting this, I flashed official Euro ROM for it....
So...There's no option to restore my previous ROM, right?

i doubt unless you flash the rom that was originally there.which you dont have.

It only clear your customization/PIM/ and soft data on phone memory..
not reflash the official rom for you

you can check out the microsoft website who are giving the OFFICIAL ROM

[Q] How to UNLOCK my LG GT540? Need 1.6 : Australia with 3 comapny

Dear All,
I updated my gt540 to 2.3 but forgot to back up my original ROM.
So now I cannot unlock my phone, and the 3 company didn't assist
me to do so neither.
I have tried the ROM other than 1.6 in this website, but none of them work for me.
Is there anyone who knows how to unlock my gt540?
Is recovering back to original 1.6 the only to do that?
What if I cannot find the original 1.6 for Australia 3 company users?

You only need to go back down to 2.1 (And any ROM will do, doesn't need to be the 3 ROM), that will enable you to enter the unlocking code.
I made the same mistake, went all the way up to 2.3.5 and then realized I hadn't keyed in the unlock code yet and had to re-flash with 2.1 to enter the code. (It's broken from 2.2+ as the ROMS are not issued by LG, and therefore missing the special codes to access these sections.)
ADDED: GAHHHH!!!! What CRAP!! I can't post in dev forums (which is where I should be) Due to my low post rate (Bless Modaco) and on top of that I can't even post links in here to actually provide answers!! HOW CRAP!! (Pardon my rant here franva -- I'll mail you the link, anyone else... go find it yaself or complain to the admins here for blocking my assistance.)

Tool Kit
Android 2.1 Stock ROM - 3 Australia
Firstly download and extract the Tool Kit... Reboot your phone into fastboot mode and connect to the PC via USB.
Run the SwiftBootloaderBuilder.exe file from the zip (you will need admin privs for this)...
Set System size to 250, click "Save new bootloader" (then ok in the popup) and click "Flash new bootloader" (giving permission to the popups, and finally OK to the last).
Then click on "Reboot device" (again give permission to popups), and hold the "Home" key on your phone as it reboot to enter recovery mode.
Download the Android ROM from the link above and put it on your phone's SD card (you can download it directly there, by mounting the USB storage via "Mounts and Storage" in the recovery menu and then starting the download and using the USB as the saving location).
Use the recovery menu to select the "3stock.zip" file as the upgrade file and proceed. (This file is set to pre-wipe all existing data to prevent any clash).
Added: I've provided the 3 Stock ROM for you, as you've already mentioned that they are and will be your carrier. The first step in this method is VITAL as I believe the issue with the Telsra ROM is that the /system partition is too small to install fully, the steps above have been tested and I have personally verified they work. (Also note that while this is the Stock ROM in that it has all the settings and apps, I have modified the boot.img and included the Superuser.apk giving permanent root)

Hmm, I kinda suspected as much when you never responded to my question on Skype...
Would have been nice if you had of at least mentioned that you had resolved this... a message via skype for example, could have saved myself an hour preparing this ROM.

request for Sticky thread about Backup and Restore
Hi
Can you make a sticky thread about a step by step guide to backup and restore the existing phone data and software(and everything else, so that anyone can comeback to present position anytime) before trying anything new.
I am a newbie and recently bricked one of my phones by trying a update(and still searching for proper firmware to restore it). I know that searching may yield some result but if there is a sticky thread, it will be helpful for people like me. I know there are stock roms available but nothing beats getting the good old phone back as it is with a feeling that nothing happened.
PS. I have installed CWM and tried the backup option there.However while backing up data it showed " failed to mount /data partition(backed up boot image and other things, but where I do not know(may be on SD card, but cannot find)). My phone is rooted and on original firmware (working perfectly). Samsung kies has a frequent crashing problem on winXP. So dared not use it.

If the backup was completed you can see a folder named
Clockworkmod.
You can find your nandroid backup inside backup..

It said during backup that could not mount /data. Will it affect in anyway during restoration? Will I get back my contacts, pictures and games? I like to try the jellybin firmware available here but also want to comeback to my present position if I do not like it. Is this backup sufficient for complete restoration or I have to do something else ?

I don't think that the backup will work..
Generally the backup has 4 files
Nandroid.md5
System.rfs.tar
Cache.rfs.tar
And
Data.rfs.tar
By the way if you want the stock roms nandroid backup (without data ie. Factory resetted) I can provide you the links..
Kernel is not included.

Would there be a possibility of having a Jellyblast custiom ROM with Merruk kernel?
I am currently enjoying my Jelllyblast V3. I read that we could overclock the unit. The thing is I have read most posts here but I am having difficulty understanding it. Most instructions are to techinical for me. I am hoping that the next Jellyblast custom ROM will have an option of either having a Kuro or Merruk kernel. But if there is a much simpler way of installing Merruk, I would like to know.

Will it help to restore me to everything like a new one (except the data) purchased fresh from market? Then please provide the link. BTW, I am using CWM Ver 5.0.2.6. Are you sure that the above four files will be produced ? I have taken the back ups twice with same set of files available.The data partition could not be mounted in both the cases.

I don't know about rom you are talking about.. so I can't help.. but you can do this..
First use "search" option in this forum for similar problems if someone had .. they might have got a solution there.. if not see in the place where you downloaded the file.. there you might find solution..
Still if you couldn't find.. search in Q&A /general section.. this will give you info/answer within 10 mins..
if still not available then ask in OT thread or create a thread for your Q in Q&A section.. this will give you answer usually within 1/2 days..

my phone works fine unless I insert the memory card.then after a few minutes it freezes and reboots without powering off. Then it restarts, freezes and again shuts down.removing the card fixes it but then I can't use my apps songs and videos on my memory card. That card worked fine for almost a year (I didn't test it on some other Android device but it works on non Android devices)
My Recent Activity
a few days ago I decided to deodex my phone using a flashable I found somewhere...it all was working fine except for a few FCs and sometimes it froze but after some time it would get back to normal.then I installed a few apps like undelete and ROM toolbox pro.I changed the boot animation too. So once I was using opera mini web browser and my phone froze and turned off in the same way I mentioned earlier... I tried clearing dalvik cache and the cache partition in recovery mode but to no avail.I also removed a few apps I suspected may have been the cause but that too didn't work.
I hope the experts here help me out with the issue soon.
And btw that 'you are a noob on xda' was genus:beer::beer:

Good that you tried searching.. please check in themes and apps section.. and you may find one.. and in that section try only "clock" in search and you will find appropriate threads..

[ROM] HTC Desire 816 dual sim International Version Sense 6 CWM backup

Here is the link of CWM backup of Stock rom of HTC Desire 816 dual sim International Version with Sense 6 .
Extract all the files into a folder. Then copy that folder into CWM backup folder and restore.

It's it just me or others are getting Google play download error too all the time ? It says error connecting to the server with the error code, RSC: ..... Blah blah error?
I found the temporary work around by deleting the Google account and re signing it but it is again going back to normal throwing error while downloading any app from play store.
Net gurus said that it is because of the device code not matching up with the room installed, which could be because of nandroid backups that we are using. So to get rid of this, may be we require proper RUU for the dual aim English version mobile.
If anyone knows any permanent problem, please share us here. Thanks

I dont have vibration problems. But if you do and have xposed module installed, then find the module called "vibration for kk" or so from the list and then install it followed by activating it. Then it would probably works. From my observation so far, it is happening when the 816W rom is ported on either 816N or 816d model phones. Can anyone reconfirm, if this is right ?

For me it was NOT right. I have 816w China Unicom version with Sense 5.5 on board. I was trying to restore International version with Sense 6.0 from 2! different phones: from this post and from another site. I didn't see the exact mobile version here. But it was exactly 816w in the other place. And two times my vibro stopped working. As long as I understood, it is a regional problem (CIDs are different). International version is not designed for Chinese one.
I fixed it by installing KingSenseDS Six from this site. Now it works like a charm :victory:

I had the same problem when restored from another phone backup. The following steps helped me to solve the problem permanently:
1. Remove your Google account.
2. Go to Settings, open Apps.
3. Navigate to All apps.
4. Clear the data for the below mentioned processes: Download Manager, Google Play Store, Google Play Services, Google Services Framework.
5. Restart your phone.
6. Open Google Play Store, log in again.
7. Use it!

Yes! I'm talking about the ROM on this site. You can find it here. In contrary, this version IS designed for DUAL sim phones and has problems with one sim. In the beginning of installation you would need to chose the version of your phone and follow the instructions. They are on Chinese but visually understood (when you make a choice of desired apps to be installed... you need to UNcheck the boxes... so, you check what you want to be deleted from installation... And I'm speaking just about check boxes! NOT about choices you make with lines in front. In that case you need to "front line" your choice!). In fact, this ROM has Xposed installed (if you choose it in your installation). But vibro is working perfectly fine without any changes! :good:

i have only one more question, you said its a chines version so .. after installing the rom, and choose English language: is there any apps or menus will still in Chinese?
or it will go all with English like any other devise ??

When you will install the ROM you will be given a choice of apps to be installed (there are a lot of Chinese progs you can get rid of on this stage). So, you can check in QQPlayer, Stocks, TVPlayer... an so on (I don't remember the exact names) to avoid their installation.
As a result, when I switched the phones language to one I use after installation, I didn't have any item on Chinese. However, BlinkFeed still works with China... I couldn't change it. So, I just switched it off.

Dear dunia suboh, dont worry at all in installing this rom. After you install it with english language, you may come across few chinese apps should you not select them not to install. Use the /system/app delete or root app delete from the playstore to uninstall the chinese ones that are not of your interest. Then everything else will be in english and you can enjoy it.
Btw, try to change the default home page in the internet app too, so that you would not get directed to hucui hompage all the time. You will enjoy this rom. If not go for jacktackle's soulrom6, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2780507, which is completely devoid of chinese clutter.

I have a Motorla DEFY no plus. The new nightly cm-11-20151015-NIGHTLY-mb52x works good but sometimes i have reboots.
- I know this cause the RIL BUG.
- I know when you have changed your basbend Version some works better some dont works good. I think the 2.21 work mostly good.
- I know you have to Play with HWA Settings.
I have seen on the developers Forum this post:

Can anybody help me please? Can anybody build a Flash file to fix this? Maybe this is importent for the stability Rom for defy too.

I have upload 1 falsh fix for cgroup-related log (i hope it is correct) but the Flash dont work properly. Please can anybody repair the Flash script?
And for the Flash file for bootanimation too?

FLAGGED - FAILURE TO SEARCH. FAILURE TO USE COMMON SENSE IN REGARDS TO ROM FLASHING.
Admins, please close/delete this thread. User does not know how to go back to a previous build that was not as buggy for them, nor does the user know how to search for flashable boot animations or how to modify said flashable animation to flash the desired boot animation. In other words, user does not know how to search, download, unzip, replace a file, re-zip, and flash.

Yes, yes you do find a solution. Its all described in my last post. If you are incapable of finding the answers on what you should have done compared to what you did do in my post, you shouldn't be customizing your phone and should remain on a stock OTA. And if there is a constant bug in something, you deal with it, find a temporary fix, or find a new rom.

No, you are unable to follow xda rules and need to watch the xda for noobs video on youtube to become more self sufficient. These are basic, not advanced, things that you can do but refuse to do.
Straight from my last post that you failed to take advice from.
ROM issues - since you complained about that nightlie you:
"go back to a previous build that was not as buggy for them"
Boot animation issue -
"search for flashable boot animations or how to modify said flashable animation to flash the desired boot animation. In other words," "search, download, unzip, replace a file, re-zip, and flash."
Baby steps method since you can't "build"
1) download a boot animation zip from defy.
2) unzip
3) open output folder
4) put your desired boot animation where the existing boot animation is
5) zip everything in the output folder
6) move to device
7) reboot>recovery
8) flash
9) reboot
Too easy and way too basic of a task for you to say i'm not friendly. All it takes is maybe 3-5 mins. You can't tell me you don't have that kind of time. Best of all, you don't even need a computer to do this. You can do it all on your device.

What order are you flashing these in?
Did you even look at the script you have on the boot animation zip here????
