I went to my local best buy store too. They said only 2 ppl had pre-ordered all day. I heard they do not honor the new every two discount so I'm sure alot of ppl will pre-order via vzw online tomorrow. I'm actually really surprised that there has not been any vzw htc incredible commercials. I have seen plenty of vzw moto droid commercials. I would think that they would want to take advantage of the large viewing audeinces watching both the NBA and NHL playoffs, but I guess not. I suspect that Incredible may not be as big to the general public as the moto droid was. Which is fine with me I talked to a CSR @ vzw and she told me that the incredible is shown as in stock and there was no note on the device stating that it would not ship before 4/29. She did say the launch date for all channels (stores/webstores) is 4/29. Best buy told me that pre-ordered phones can be picked up on or after 4/29.
when i went to BB one of the mobile guys asked if he could help me...i asked him about the pre order and he didnt know anything about it. Had to ask his manager what that was, so im guessing they hadnt done any pre orders that day.

I was the first to pre-order at my local store. It only cost $100 to put my name in the hat for two incredibles (..and of course they gave me two $50 dollar gift cards which I will use towards my phones next next week). The girl said the store will receive a greater amount of phones if more people pre-order at that location.
if one person pre-orders, they may get 5 phones
if 15 preorder, the store will get 25 phones (examples, but she has seen other pre-orders use the 15=25 numbers)
going from At&t (no complaints) with a Kaiser (wife has a moto q9 with a broken "a" key) to verizon with two incredibles.

I just got my new homeowners tax refund and once the check clears tomorrow I'll be marching into Best Buy and preordering that beautiful beast of a phone. Cyanogen expects that it will be simple for his roms to work on the Incredible since its very close to N1.
Pre-Ordered mine on Monday. I asked about getting it early and the lady said no. It sucks that some people who ordered through Verizon have gotten theirs today.

Last I read in forums was the Best Buy gets their inventory of phones on 4/24
i would leave any preorders that you did online alone, they will have it shipped to you by the 29th. if best buy or local stores get them early, they arent going to be able to give them out until the 29th anyway.
HTC Incredible is a great phone but i want to see it upclose before getting into a contract. I think it might be too plasticky but i will still get it.
There was an error at verizon on phone orders allowing them to get shipped early. They've plugged that mistake. Those lucky enough to have done a phone order on the Monday got them early.
I have mine pre ordered with Best Buy. Between my New Every Two and some BB Reward Zone certificates, I'm getting mine for ridiculous inexpensiveness!

Just pre ordered mine today and got Best Buy to price match Verizon on the 529.99 that big red is offering. BB wanted me to pay 599.99 but I'm not doing that.
so i preordered my evo a while back at my local BB (san antonio, tx) and i was "lucky" to be no. 46
i went today to check if anyone ahead of me had backed out and to find out how many they are going to have in stock on the release date.
the guy told me that the first wave of pre orders stopped at 99 so anyone after 99 will have to wait till the 2nd wave of phones
so everyone that is no. 99 or less is GUARANTEED a phone on the release date. according to him i have nothing to worry about.
so can you guys check with your stores and find out if this info is accurate?

BB in Pembroke Pines South Florida is on their second wave orders. Said that they would receive those on the 11th. I went to RS and reserved there. First "appointment" on the 4th.
I would have been first at my BB also if the idiots knew they were doing pre orders the first time I called!

wife starting new account. she will activate the phone. then we'll switch her evo with my hero on my separate account. she wants a smaller phone and doesn't care too much and knows i want the evo insanely bad.
she's doing $99.95/mo unlimited w/ my hero - work pays 100%
i'm doing the 69.95/mo 450min plan + $10 4g w/ evo - 25% sprint discount - work pays $25/mo (to reimburse "data")
lady didn't know but took a stab in the dark and said i was 16th and then proceeded to tell me that they are supposed to get enough to cover the 16 but don't get your hopes up high.

all I got was a receipt, gift card, and a flyer. Didn't see anything about what number I was and didn't have an appointment.

You need to go back and tell them you want your gift YOU'RE entitled to for you 50 dollars.
Also they SHOULD know what number you are in the preorder log. Don't let them play dumb.
They said all I need is the receipt and the $50 on it will be applied towards the phone.

Hmm... Well they took down my info and told me I was the first one in. They said the receipt is good enough and it will be applied towards the purchase of the phone. Maybe my BB is just backwards or something.
I guess I was just curious if they were doing an additional credit, somewhat similar to what Radio Shack is doing. I have heard they will match that $20 accessory credit.
BB called me 2 days ago to set an appointment up on the 4th to get the phone. I am getting 2 so my times are 5pm and 530pm

I'm 3rd on the list at BB here in Wilmington, DE... At first they told me no appointments were going to be scheduled. Then they called me yesterday and set up a 9:30am appointment... They also called me again today and said they are throwing in free installation for the Invisible Shield for the Evo.
Just placed my order through premier earlier and then got an email 3.5 hours later saying that they are backordered...
I haven't gotten my confirmation email yet from an order I placed about four hours ago, but the Premier website shows that I have an order in progress (with no details).
Man, that didn't take long!

I got the last one from my local ATT store, but they only had 3 total.
I got one from an AT&T store and they said they had plenty left, I guess it just depends what area you're in...

I got through (took about 30 minutes). They said that it would either ship the end of this week or beginning of next. I cancelled my order -- maybe I'll get the nexus one instead, and risk the wrath of my wife.
What do y'alls think? I like the small form factor of the aria, and the price is right, but ... nexus one!

or amazon, newegg, dell, or tigerdirect. all of which have it cheaper unless you have a really good FAN discount
Yeah Newegg (Simplexity) is best price around, no FAN req'd. Ordered Sunday night, receiving 2 Arias in the mail Wednesday.
If you want to pick it up in person and actually want to PAY for the phone, go to Costco. Best in-store price, better than Best Buy.
newegg and letstalk.com both have the Aria for free right now
Just an update:
I was finally able to get through to premier yesterday, all of the other times I tried it just said to try again later. The person I talked to said that it was too late to cancel the order.
Today, I just got an email saying that my phone has shipped. Now, it's time to wait for the fedex man to arrive @ my house...
I had ordered one for my wife through premier store on monday night and it came as back ordered too. I canceled and went to my local store where they then gave it to me for $229 and $100 in free accessories. The premier store wanted $318.99... I'm glad it was on back order or I would have paid the $318.99 amount. Its no nexus, but it sure holds its own. And, apps that aren't in the app store can be installed via bump. We put shapewriter on hers last night from my nexus and it worked perfectly (shapewriter is not in app store).
Mine finally shipped...just in time for the weekend and I doubt they sprung for Saturday delivery. So tomorrow I am going to call the FedEx depot and beg for them to let me pick it up.
Ordered mine today over the phone with premier. It has been processed and shipped already. So they obviously have them in the warehouse. Good luck guys

Best Buy. Long story but they really wanted me to buy a tablet there. Employees came from all around with discounts for me at check out. There was an actual line of employees with printed skews in their hands, each one adding a new discount. I was still in disbelief when I got home. Like I said, Just for fun I might stop by and have a go. I'm sure they need some kind of entertainment around there.
Oh yeah, the funny part was when the all got through with their discounts another guy walked up typed something in, while another dropped his jaw and said, "Did you just give him a $100 off without a managers aproval, how did you do that?" He just smiled and walked away. Everyone gets luck once in a while.

The guy said they haven't received their end cap for the Tab which usually comes with the accessories shipment. He said he would honor the 15% offer once they receive their accessories so I'm going to check back periodically. Checking stock on their website shows other stores in the area have Tabs as well but the guy said it can take up to 24 hours for the online stock checker to update so with the rush of buyers looking for them with the coupon deal I suspect they'll all be gone very quickly. FYI, they are selling the metallic gray version (not the white). The website doesn't give any indication of color...

Depending on your tax, I got mine for $430 after tax and coupon.

Tried a few Staples in DC metro area. Some don't have any. One store that do have in stock can't make the coupon work. Finally found one store that the manager knows about the coupon and offered to order one for me from Kiosk and pay at the register to use the coupon w/o any problem. I'll pick the tab up this Firday. $420 with tax.
Well, I was on a fence because of luck of Netflix. But now Netflix is sorted out and I've got 16Gb for 400 bucks plus tax from staples.
Got mine from staples 424.99 16gb when to four stores and the last store had 3 left also most stores don't have them on display
I picked up my Galaxy 10.1 at Staples today. I noticed that they didn't have any on display, but there were Xooms, Acers, Blackberries, etc. When I asked them why, they said that yesterday somebody tried to walk off with the display model, so they took it off display. Seems to me that he could have tried to walk off with any of them, so why remove just one?
Anyway, another guy said they had gotten their shipment in on Sunday (3 days ago), and I was the first to buy one. He said the store is getting many returns on tablets, because people buy them thinking they are laptops -- minus the keyboards. I assured him that I was familiar with the android system, owning a rooted Nook.
I am happy with the Samsung so far, but Honeycomb is a little bigger learning curve over Android 2.3. But my buddy at work has a Xoom, so I'll be picking his brain over the next couple of weeks.

What do you mean, "Netflix is sorted out?" Can Netflix be played on my Samsung? (Forgive me, I'm a Honeycomb newbie).
I have a blue 64gb on backorder called customer care and have them credit me due to the phone has not shipped and the price has been reduced. I don't know if this breaks any forum riles I just wanted to make anyone who has their phone still in backorder to check this out. I made sure enough get the csr name and ID number.

I didn't have the same luck. The CSR I spoke with said that she didn't have a way to credit me (64GB ordered on 11/24). Maybe it's because mine is new service and I don't have an account yet? She said that I'd have to do a new order on the web and then refuse the shipment of the first order. She also said that the 64GB is backordered with no information on when they would be available.
So for the people that ordered the 64gb version in-store on 11/19, are we screwed? Or is there some way to get credit for this? I see it says web-only orders but I still don't even have the phone yet and opted to pay in full for a new account/line.

I ordered on the 19th for what its worth...makes the 64gb basically the same as the 32gb was initially... I'll take that and wait for my whale.

Yeah it seems to be only for current customers. The csr also looked at my account. This phone release has been nothing but issues. But I guess this makes it a bit better since we are getting the phone for what the 32gb cost.

I was on the phone with T-mobile for the past hour trying to deal with this, but eventually they took care of the issue.
Essentially I am a new customer - single line - switched from Verizon - paying for the 64gb Nexus 6 in full - but ordered the phone in store and paid the taxes in advance on 11/19 after specifically asking if they normally have black Friday/cyber Monday deals and being told no. I asked if there was a way to cancel my order somehow or reorder the phone with the current deal etc, because it sucks to be out $50 when I have been waiting 2-3 weeks for this damn phone being on backorder etc and still do not have the phone in hand (on top of being told that there wouldn't be any deals). They said that I would have to refuse my shipment because it's already shipped, re-order again right now and wait for the new one to get to me, and then they would refund me for the old phone so that I have saved a net $50. So then I asked what is the purpose of wasting both parties time and money when an account credit would be fine for me? They apparently didn't think of that.. and said it would be no issue lol. I'm not the type of person to go complaining to get free stuff, but this legitimately sucks because I was told by a manager that there wouldn't be any deals and I might as well just order the 64gb now while I'm already here.
Overall even though T-mobile's customer service is set up somewhat clunky, I am very impressed with everything they've helped me with so far (had to deal with them 3-4 times already in the past few weeks). Verizon would have told me to go **** myself.
Hopefully this helps anyone that's in a similar situation.

Just go back to that same store and get the price adjusted. They should be able to do it.
Too bad those people ordering today probably won't see their devices until February. Or, T-Mobile just might screw us early orders over again and ship items ordered today by x-mas. Which will make me hate it even more.

yup, if it was a 32gb either just returned or some new stock there is a good chance you will see it soon.
No dice here. Spoke with customer care and they transferred me to the "buyer's remorse" department. Both said the only thing I could do was cancel and reorder, but I would be placed in the back of the line for the phone. Not cool....
I just got off the phone with customer service. I ordered and received my phone the week before Thanksgiving after being told that they didn't have any deals planned. The CSR I spoke with today couldn't change the monthly charge, but did credit the $48 against EIP.
I bought mine on GPS with Discover.
It has 90day price protection.
I'll see if I can pricematch it to tmo's.
