The OFFICIAL release date APRIL/May. It's NOT a rumor.
If they release it sooner, at the right time or later that's another story.
Whatever SE says about their products is official, even if it becomes true or not.

Would be great to have ics. We already have awesome rom devs,kernel devs,and themers in addition to a fantastic device. This phone is gonna rock for some time now.

Indeed, after reading the article I came to the same conclusion.
In fact the article refers to the GT-N8010 for the ICS Android 4.0 Leak while not much is known about this device currently.

The article is saying that the newest firmware is one of the last gingerbread updates for the note. We should be expecting a leak sometime in the future.

"News" would be that an ICS build has been leaked and is available for download.
What you have here is just a rumour, and should be treated as such!

My "new" sony logo is intended to be a joke. I have no animosity towards sony. I just thought it would be rather funny. So to those of you calling me a whiner and such, relax. Get over yourself. Alot of people are rather disgruntled at the moment due to the ICS issue. I am not making a judgement as to whether their anger is justified or not, that is for the individual to decide. I just thought abit of humour was appropriate at the moment. It's a joke, have a laugh, relax, calm down and move on. It's a joke. If you don't find it funny, don't look at it.

Yes i think only bugfixes, too dificult to sony to bring us walkman, new album, and other media apps...........too bad sony.

Atleast Sony gave us ICS bro...Check out samsung , they are still running on GB...+ With XDA and flashtool and official bootloader unlock tool Sony phones are so easy to flash and mod unlike any other...

Yea, Sony is helping FXP team to include HDMI in CM ROMs. But that won't make HDMI open-source still.

Yes, everyone is fixated on huge screens and fail to recognize the flaws of touch screen keyboards. You can only type so fast on a touch screen before you slip up. People wonder how I reply so fast to their texts. I just hold up my phone, slide out the keyboard, and take a bow.

2011 devices are legacy devices now. They are no longer actively supported by FXP. I don't think HDMI will be available for our devices, it's time to move on.

Pity I received my Xperia Arc by Dec 2011 and Sony already dropped the support (no JB on the horizon). Now even the mod community is moving on. Well, at least we had the JB update thanks to the modders :good:

hdmi for cm10 is my dream, I'm tired of using all these terrible and slow stock roms

stock roms are really terrible :crying:

I don't see anything happening about HDMI over that link, its all about audio thing.
The only reason i use stock rom is the camera because i like taking picture randomly everywhere otherwise there is no point using the lame stock roms.
