I can confirm this.
I just flashed a new rom and as I was booting I got a prompt for the system update. I was like... huh? I had seriously thought the official GB update went out a while ago and had never been prompted before. I came over her to see if there was some other update going out.
Anyway I didnt install it, because Im running a rom anyway. If someone tells me how to pull it I suppose I could get at it and post it.

I followed 42turkeys' excellent How To Root and everything seemed to work as it should. I then used the ROM and root updates from andrewb84uk and they went on OK with no apparent problems. Andrewb84uk has since seemed to lose faith in his own ROMs, although other users, like me, are happy with what he's done. My phone seemed to be working fine, I can boot into recovery mode, and I really like some of the new features on 2.1.
So, my question is this; how can I tell that the root worked OK? I never really investigated the OS too much when it was running 1.5, so I'm not sure I'd spot too many of the subtle differences. Also, it is an updated OS, so any change I see may simply be an update rather than the result of root.
Does simply the fact that I can boot in recovery mode confirm that root is successful?
Go to the android market and type in Screenshot in search...
Download the app and see if it works...
If it does your rooted!
It it doesn't your not rooted!
See below...
It works! Many thanks...

Instead of using OTA, you can manually flash your phone to 4.4.2 using the stock Google rom.

You'll need to unlock the phone's bootloader and reboot before continuing.

You know if everyone who didnt get the update made a thread we would be seeing over a hundred threads
Now you can keep an eye on your update here http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/#firmware
Next time do some research or post in the right section!

The build is still listed as MRA58K aka 6.0.0 and in software version and the hidden menu it still lists 6.0.
edit: are you sure about the new emoji? I don't seem to have hot dog or Lion face (the first to 6.0.1 emoji that I tested).

Hi all
I've got Lenovo YT3 PRO and i want to ask you
Is there any way to completely back the changes i've did?
On start i've got a bios leader (i think i can fix that)

}
Next - code 03 - it shows after rooting
Then yoga start and everything is ok.
Is there any possibility to make it work like new? (or just hide this annoying code 03 error)
If Yes, please help (step by step)
Sorry for my bad English and huge images
Hi the only way to get rid of boot error 3 is to relock your bootloader, I do NOT recommend this if you keep tablet rooted. Unlocked bootloader allows to run twrp live session.
To remove the bios loading screen, access bios and enable fastboot.

Also if you update to marshmallow it autoloads at bootloader error, at least it does on my 4GB version.
Thank You very much!!!
It's working now
Ok, i've got one more question
How to install update now?
I've got notification, that update is ready to install but when I try to do this, tablet says something like "update package is not correct"

To install update you have to restore your clean backup, the one you made before rooting.
