[Q] I screwed up a folder name... help. - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 General

So I added some folders in the app drawer, and I named one of them:
File/root
When I looked for it later, the folder (and the apps inside) weren't visible anymore.
I assume that by using the forward slash symbol I've broken something. Any ideas on how to get it back?

[Q] Lost my icons

I am using Androkidd on my device which is an Android type screen on which I created an icon directly to system settings and another icon which went directly to the "new text message" page.
I needed to move the app to the storage card and in doing so lost some quick launch icons. Therefore it was necessary to redo the icons lost, but now I cannot find the paths to the settings and new text message screens. I do not remember in which file/s they were located.
The links do not appear anywhere in the Windows directory that I can identify. A link to 'Settings' is found in the Start menu, but the path cannot be determined.
Can anyone help me? I'm up against a wall on this one.
Thank you.

If you moved the app, you should have some configuration or settings file, which should be readable in a text editor. Having said that, if you need the links to settings, take a look at this:

Hope this helps.

Folders on home screen

Is there a way to create folders on the home screen like 2.X?
I have the same question. For the life of me I can't figure out how to make a folder. As a work around I downloaded "Group My Apps" from the Market as a work around until somebody tells me how to make a folder.
I am using folder organizer. Icons are still somewhat small for the screen but its a good alternative
Sent from my Xoom using XDA App
Am I missing something? Droid newb here..

In honeycomb there is no folders option after long press. Least not that I see.

[q] elocity a7 file names

Just got my A7. On the home screen when I choose "file" I get a blank black box and a file icon named "file". I am able to put apps, bookmarks etc. into this file, but how can I change this icon name on the home screen from "file" to the name I want for it?
Many thanks.

By file do you mean folder?
If so, open the folder, then hold your finger on the title for a couple seconds until a edit box appears.
One more question?
Thanks for the help. That works and I can now rename my folders.
How do I do I get the shortcuts or apps into the folder? I thought I was "adding" them to the folder but it turns out I was putting them on the home screen. I am trying to do the equivalent to dragging and dropping into a folder but I can't seem to drag them on my A7.
Thanks in advance.

Same as renaming the folder. Hold your finger on the icon until it is movable, then drop it on top of the folder you want to put it in.

LG G2 (D802) clip tray issue

Hey guys
I was hoping someone could help me out here because I've searched everywhere and haven't found a solution. Whenever I copy text from anywhere and access my clip tray, the clip tray always says "no items copied" even though I did copy a piece of text (just using text as an example). When I do hit "paste" it pastes the most recent thing I copied. Basically, my clip tray no longer stores a history of all the other things I've copied. Any idea as to why it does this and how to fix it? I re-flashed the ROM I was using (CloudyG2) and that fixed it for while but now it's happening again.

Deleting multiple folders in the download folder

So when I was going to add a picture to my Snapchat I noticed I had tons of pictures from Facebooks stickers. So when I went to go look for them I found them in the download folder and in images, and used the select all tool ( I had over 1000 sticker pictures + Stuff from ads on games) and all I can do is copy the items. I want to delete them all all at once, not have to go into the folder separately and delete the image from the folder. Is the an app I can do this with? Because this is super annoying and I dont want to spend hours trying to delete them individually
After selecting all files don't you have a trashcan icon at the top? Second icon on the right side, left to the three dots that open the dropdown menu with the other options like copy.
Edit:
I missread. You want to delete multiple folders not multiple files in a folder. Doesn't work for me either. Maybe use one of the file explorer like apps from the playstore. I'm sure most of them have no problem with deleting multiple folders.
