I just want to thank all the Veterans on the incredible forums personally. Your service to our country gave the rest of us our freedom. You devoted years of your life so we can have the ability to complain on forums, ask for ETA's (like its your job), and bring us incredible development to our devices. All because you have a kind heart and skillful mind's. I wish you all the best, on this day of remembrance and just wanted to thank you all for what you did, do, and will do for all of us.
(i know this does not belong in development but i wanted everyone to see. Mods feel free to move.)
Thanks Synister! When my "thanks" button resets, I'm gonna click it for ya.
Thanks to all of You Service Men and Women! You are greatly appreciated.

Thank you all for your support. There's few enough people out there who are loyal to our country...even fewer who are loyal to our armed forces. I can't tell you how many times per day I am flat disrespected by the general populace simply due to the fact that I am military. Sucks living in such a liberal state...I hate California for that reason.
It really means a lot for me when someone stands up for everything we do...you don't have to agree with our government, you don't have to like our president, you don't have to support our "wars"...God knows I don't...but in the end, those of us who chose to serve still have to follow orders, and we make many sacrifices for the life you all get to have.

Hey everyone.
Well sadly, and happily the time has come for me to move on to another device. The epic, while having great potential just did not hit the mark. While many of you may disagree, etc, the truth is simple; The Epic4G had much more potential than Samsung/Sprint allowed it to have.
So now I say my farewell to the Epic dev community. I will still be around, and if you need to contact me you can do so via PM, or find me in IRC @ irc.freenode.net #G2x
As some of you know, I recently decided to switch carriers to T-Mobile, and I am getting a G2x. My new device arrives tomorrow, and I am quite excited to begin dev'ing on a new phone, with a lot more power.
Good luck to everyone, and I hope to see you on the other side
We're going to miss you. Thanks for all you've done.
Thanks Dameon you did SO much for this community

I've read reviews on it, and it looks to be plagued with battery life issues and random reboots on stock. So I'm sure you'll make that community very happy with fixes.

Actually, Bono has said Apple was the biggest contributor to (Red). And there are plenty of speculations that he did anonymous donations.
What a inhumane and downright crappy comment to manke, about anyones death.

An innovator? He did nothing innovative in the electronic world. there were already mp3 players before ipods. There a were already laptops and PC's before Mac books, and there were already touch screens before iPhone and iPad. Nothing he did revolutionized the electronic world. That would be interesting to see (that he or Apple have done any charitable works), but unless its on paper, it's simply hearsay.
He established a foundation in '86 if I remember correctly, but apparantly the guy who he left to manage it said Jobs didn't seem very interested in maintaining it and was more focused on Apple (which he should have been to a certain degree, obviously if there's no money coming in, how can he help anyone, right?).
But the fact of the matter is, his charitable contributions seem to be nil. There's no reason to hide helping people out. You can be quiet about doing it, sure. But to leave no trail of it existing? Not so sure about that.
And to clarify, if his will ends up giving/establishing charities or anything of the like, good for him and RIP. But until then, I can't feel much for the guy.
There will be no jokes about how the latest iPhone was a the proverbial nail in the... well never mind.
As a innovator he was truly a genius. As a businessman and a promoter, he was second to none. He was a man living ahead of his time. What ever your opinion of Apple, the World has truly lost one of its best.
R.I.P. Steve Jobs

Easy fix for that... resurrect your continuum and come back to the fold.
So get this. This chick I know had a DX2 and the screen wouldn't work right for her. I saw on facebook she was selling it so I asked how much and she said $20. I think maybe I can get it working and for 20 bucks, why not. I buy it from her a couple hours ago, plug my charger in and it works just fine. So I got a DX2 for $20 and I'm sorry to say it but I might not be around here as much. But thank you so much everybody for all you have done for the Continuum. When I first got it I was a little disappointed but after all the hard work from everybody it made the Continuum awesome.

One day I was on the verge of smashing my continuum after failed verizon and samsung support for this device. Tired of the same old crap I scoured the internet far and wide looking for ways to improve my experience before giving up. Then a friend referred me to this forum, and I must say that I no longer have the urge to flush my phone like the piece of crap it once was! I have been silently scoping the forum daily until today when I decided that the very least I can do is register to give thanks to the many such as yourself who have invested time into making this device what it is today. Thank you for making me not want to break my phone
Once upon a time in the never eat shredded wheat regions of the lands there came a little phone,"Willy the wilderbeast" Willy was said to be a loner, not much going for him,not as flashy or powerful as the other phones but cheerful enough to be liked. Willy one day stumbled into a new town named andyville where the locals were strong powerful devices with regular support from the neighbouring town of xda. Now all the andyville locals laughed at Willy with his small frame and low end interior, mocking that Willy was a joke and would never be able to survive in andyville.
Willy never got disheartened with all the mockery but did somewhat feel a little small when mixing with the locals and decided to seek assistance from the xda's.
After lots of roaming around he befriended froyo. Froyo was a respected individual well known in both andyville and xda and froyo began to show Willy his potential and Willy's status began to grow (lol) now Willy the wilderbeast was on a roll and decided to showboat a little gaining strength everyday and finding new and exciting allies everday. Then one day one andyville resident decided to test Willy and his new found status, introduce the ARCO. ARCO was one of the most respected residents of both andyville and xda and decided to pit Willy against gingerbreadman. Gingerbread was the newest andyville arrival and boasted great strength and was so advanced compared to Willy that again the andyvilles mocked Willy saying he was too weak to compete with gingerbread. ARCO spent many an hour working with Willy ( ) and his new allies the cm7s and on the day of the showdown Willy stood his ground and battled well with ginger.this battle was a long dragged out battle going on for months and months until one day enough was enough and a truce was called,Willy had gained respect from most of the residents in both towns but there were still doubters.
They named themselves the honeycombs but Willy never really interacted with the honeys very well and decided to try his luck befriending the most colourful residents of andyville called the icecream sarnies, this is an ongoing alliance said to be working well but andyville is a secretive town and no camera evidence of this friendship exist but rumour has it that a new boy from an outside town is on his way to challenge Willy and all his friends to a showdown and he goes by the name MIUI.
How will Willy get on with miui ? Only time will tell but the moral of this story is DON'T EVER UNDERESTIMATE YOUR WILLY.
TO BE CONTINUED..........
it made sense in my head !!!

Are you being interviews for a position as a tech? or a service rep? or in store sales? I'd think the interview would vary wildly based on the position.
I worked at sprint for 3 years, its a good and fun job. I got a lot of over time with them. I start with consultant sales, then to tech support. For the interview all I have to say just be yourself and act professional. They ask basic questions why you think you should have this job? and etc. Its mainly basic questions how you would help customers. Good Luck with the interview!

be yourself! no manager wants to hire a liar and 2 weeks later have a completely different person. if you like the job, tell them why you think you could fit the company, and yourself into the job, stay away from, and another thing, stay TALKATIVE! and friendly! and do not let the manager keep the conversation
I worked at a Sprint store a couple of years ago and the interview was extremely painless. It just felt I was talking with someone about my life. What I liked best about phones, why I thought I'd do well there and what I could bring to the company. I thought the fact it was so casual was a bad thing and that I didn't get the job but I got a call a day later and was offered the job. Just be yourself and you can't go wrong. If they don't hire you then you stuck to yourself and it just wasn't a good match rather than trying to be something you aren't. Sprint's qualifications aren't exactly high so... Haha. You should be fine. Let us know how it goes.

so I had my interview, it went pretty well, apparently it was for a technician position and I was asked to dismantle an Epic4g Touch on the spot, so I did. Then he had me put it together, pretty painless. I was amazed at what I had learned in such a short amount of time, I really hope I get that call back. Will keep ya all posted!
so I did a second interview back on Tuesday, soon I should hear back on weather or not I get to become a technician.
The store manager was impressed with my jelly beaned epic4g running Paranoid. Hes afraid to root his big awesome phone, haha.
