please advice what i must do so all the system works correctly.....
thanks to enyone answer me....

To flash MAGLDR or cLK you have to do it through the SPL bootloader (tri color screen), not through option. #5 USB flasher in MGLDR. That option in MAGLDR is only for flashing custom recovery via DAF file, android via DAF file (this method is obsolete), or a Windows Phone 7 via DAF file. If you have already flashed MAGLDR before you should know how to get to the tri color screen. If not then click on the HD2 guide in my sig, it should help answer a lot of questions you have.

[Q] Can't install Clockwordmod recovery (nand kernel open failed)

I have a european HTC HD2 running MAGLDR 1.3 and I cannot install Clockworkmod under any circumstances. I've been running MDJ's Cyanogenmod 7 for weeks now and have the correct radio and hspl, but every time I attempt to flash clockwork I get a message saying NAND kernel open failed when I try to boot AD Recovery. I've tried both the NAND boot and the old style SD boot with no luck whatsoever. I'm now totally stumped and unable to get any of the new ROMS. Thanks in advance for any help you can give.
Can you give us the exact steps you have taken?
This way we can see if you missed something.
Thanks for the response,
Installed radio and hspl, then magldr 1.11 (this is the setup I'd been using for a while). Today I tried to install clockworkmod so I upgraded to magldr 1.13 at the tri color screen. That seemed to work fine, all the functions working perfectly. I then downloaded cwm 1.3 150mb and tried to install (USB flash, ran as admin etc.) The install seemed to go alright but when I tried to boot into recovery I got the error message. I ran into the same problem using the method where you put files on the SD first and using the script to install magldr 1.13 and cwm one after the other.
i had problems with cwm 150 installer. i ended up getting the 250 meg version, and editinf flash.cfg, worked first time.
Did you use AD SD or AD Recovery (option 8 )?
AD Recovery is the one to use.

I've used both and neither worked, they both result in nand kernel open failed. Its unable to find initrd or the other file no matter what i do.
Sounds like the file recovery.raw (or is it recovery.img, i forget) didn't get flashed, please confirm there is a recovery image included with the cwm files you are installing, and also please paste us the contents of your flash.cfg. file.
Try flashing 400mb clockwork mod.most roms require this mod and it does work
Sent from my HTC HD2 Gingerbread using XDA App
I got it to work by using the 250mb version with edited flash file! Thanks a lot for all the help.

open the file flash.cfg in notepad on the pc, edit the number in the system line (you will see what i mean when you see it) change it, save it, flash it.
nand kernel open failed
you are probably putting the 'clk' version of the rom in your storage card for installation. you need the 'magdlr' version of the rom for clockwork mod to correctly install android
Same problem with NAND karnel fails
I bought my HTC HD from my friend at work, it had installed, android aMAGLDR V1.13 I had a problem to erase my friends gmail account from the phone and when ever i connect to the Internet his account appears to log on and sync, I tried to reset the phone but I failed, now I tried ti flash the android regarding gunjahman's Flashing a new nand android rom over a previous one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=11302885#post11302885
and I flashed with Recovery_400M and now I'm in Boot menu and can't get it to boot or anything else.
Can please anyone help me???

Help - NAND installation MGLDR

Hi guys
Im currently an SD user.
I want to install this via nand: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1250703
I used to use MGLDR etc, is there an easy way to install this? As i cannot find exact info. As there is stuff like CLK and clockwork recovery mod.
Can anynone provide me an easy installation method to do this?
I will really appreciated. I love Android, i dont think i want to boot via WM anymore, and im sure this will also increase the performance? Thanks!!
Have you even tried to look for everything yourself?
I mean, you should have looked for "what is cLK, MAGLDR and CWM?"After doing that little search you should have known that the easiest way to do it is through the NAND toolkit stickied in the NAND forum after (of course) choosing which bootloader you want to use
I would start here:

If you get stuck on something, just ask and I'll see if I can help you out.
after install MGLDR 1.13, my HD2 Doesnt start
Hi,
After installing MGLDR 1.13 my HTC HD2 doesnt start, I have just the HTC screen(whit screnn with HTC in green), it's freeze no menu.... nothing at all, just the white HTC Screen
Can please some one help me
You need to install a rom... download a daf file rom for your hd2 on to your computer... unzip it... run the daf file... do all this your phone have to be plug in to your computer... in magldr... select USB flash... wait for it to say.... USB....USB. then run daf file that you just unzipped....
Or install clockwork mod recovery (install through USB flasher) with the right partition for the rom.... the rom have to be for magldr... the downloaded rom also have to be transfer to your SD... but into magldr... select ad recovery... then follow prompt... this is the best way to flash rom...

Google or Search here how to flash HSLP to a version needed for this ROM. Be sure also having the right MAGDLR version installed after HSPL. (easier to change than SPL).
I recommend using CWM. (press long red button while booting - go 8. Recovery AD - mount USB - get .zip of ROM on SD and install from .zip)
I recommend you to make sure your SPL version and MAGLDR versions are right before continuing. Also a total wipe or SD formatting (just search here for the stickies) must be (optional) done.
The white screen comes from ? Just guess ? Did you install a ROM ?
If it were no rom flashed, it would stop at the magldr menu. If a phone goes straight to bootscreen after flashing magldr it means either the spl isn't 2.08.hspl or the radio isn't a 2.xx.50.
@neolan enter bootloader, set 2.08.hspl, re enter bootloader, flash radio 2.15.50, the phone will now start into magldr and you can proceed flashing cwm.

stuck on bootloader or magldr

first i must say that i have a little experience with installing win 6.5 and android nand roms. I have HSPL 2.08 version and radio 2.15.50.14 version.
lately i installed a miui clk rom and it worked o.k, after a while the phone stuck and i pooled out the battery and after that the rom and the clk was wiped out.
since then i made task29 and installed the radio 2.15.... again then the clk but could not install the cwm because from some reason the pc didnt recognize the phone Through the usb port, so i've installed the magldr 1.13 and then the cmw but now it won't start up (the cwm) and it give me an error, so i decided to try and install win 6.5 again but the phone won't start up.
is anybody know what is wrong or if my phone ended its life on this plant?
my suggestion would be to download hd2 toolkit. task 29 phone then start over. flash magldr then go to maglr option for usb flasher and repartition your phone for your rom of choice. install rom zip on sd card and install

done that with the toolkit and first it didn't flash the task29(usb erorr) after some Struggles i made it but than it didn't flash the magldr Through the dft (again usb erorr) so i flashed it with ruu and than the and the rest is written above.
the toolkit isn't working and on the dft i get alot of usb and connection erorrs, but with ruu flash i dont have this erorrs.
now is it hardware or software problem?
bump!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HD2 problem with flashing CWM

Hi.
My friend has HTC HD2 and we wanted to flash CWM and new nadroid.
The phone has already HSPL 2.08, MAGLDR 1.13 and radio 15.42.50.11U_2.15.50.14.
In the phone there is android (Android 2.2, kernel 2.6.32.15 dirty cotulla, software number 2.29.405.5).
phone (in info): HTC Desire A8181
I tried flash CWM 150MB but:
1.) DAF doesn't work for me (error init USB). So I tried andr_install.exe, it worked and phone was connected
, but then it show message:
PARTITION LAYOUT NEW
Do you want to preserve data?
Press POWER to save it
Press GREEN to clear it
Press VOLDOWN to abandon flashing
I tried abandon flashing and I get error (something like can't clear partition)
We want to flash HyperDroid CM7.
So My question is, did I make something wrong?
Must I make repartition of MAGLDR befor flash CWM or CM?
I would to try HD2 NAND toolkit, but I looked, that it use also DAF.
I would try a full wipe (task29) in HD2 Toolkit.
But if it not work, we will have cleaned phone
Can I do this?
Repartition of MAGLDR to 150MB, catch 44MB.
Run CWM from SD card.
Install CWM from SD card to NAND (recovery_5.0.2.6_leo_CWR.zip)?
When you repartition, it installs cwm too.
Use the nand toolkit, put phone into magldr USB flasher, in nand toolkit select tye size you want, clik 'reaprtition' bottom left, hey presto partitions created and cwm installed. If you get connection errors click download drivers. (Alternate means of getting the correct drivers are - install 'myphoneexplorer ((also good cos it syncs with outlook)) or install the android sdk (Google for android USB drivers).
The reason you got the errors trying to flash cwm in post 1 is because the old method used to install your original rom doesn't create a recovery partition, so there's nowhere for cwm to install.
OK I will try it
I have already google drivers (from ADB)+HTC drivers (I have EVO 3D)+I installed windows mobile device center.
But andr_install.exe worked, so I hope that toolkit will work too
Thank you!
Android reflashed!
It worked really well, thank you!

[Q] HD2 stuck at boot: bricked?

Hi,
a friend gave me an HD2 which stopped booting about three months ago, when he tried to install android on it, without really knowing what he was doing.
I have a bit of experience in installing custom roms in some android devices (HTC Vision, Samsung P1000...), but I know nothing about HD2 or any windows phones.
This is what it says after switching on:
tinypic.com/r/2hywdp4/5
This is after switching on with windows key pressed:
tinypic.com/r/29y43fb/5
This is after switching on with volume key pressed:
tinypic.com/r/25i3f9c/5
[sorry I can't create links because I'm new to xda]
Is there a way to go back to a working status?
If I fix it, I'll earn some glory and a free beer.
The final aim would be to install a NAND android rom, preferably CM7 or similar.
Thanks a lot.
Correct me if i'm wrong guys, but this pic :
tinypic.com/r/25i3f9c/5
is the bootloader mod and it says that you have HSPL 2.08
In my opinion, you just have to flash back a windows 6.5 ROM and follow the whole process to get android (Flash MAGLDR, [....] , and flash a CM7 NANDROID Rom using the clockworkmod) refering to the tutorials in the NANDROID section.
Its not bricked. Just restart the process to install Android as jediL pointed out and you should be good to go. Check here for a detailed explanation on how.
Ok the pictures help a lot. From what I see the first picture is what you see when you boot a HD2 that has clk installed for the custom bootloader but does not have as Android ROM in memory to boot. This is the only reason you well ever see clk at all if you just power on a HD2 with clk installed.
The second pictures is clk trying to boot into recovery but is not able to. It probably either has some kind of problem booting the flashed version or it just does not have a custom recovery flashed to it. My bet is it does not have a custom recovery flashed to it. As most people have problems Glasgow.g a recovery after flashing clk if they are not using the HD2 NAND Toolkit.
The third picture is the the stock bootloader of the HD2 and yes it shows you have HSPL 2.08 installed so you are good with HSPL and do not need to flash HSPL 2.08 to your HD2.
Now to get you on to getting Android up and running. Seeing as you already have clk on your HD2 you do not need to flash it. You do need to flash a custom recovery and you can either check out the guide linked in my sig to flash it via fasboot comands manually or you can use the HD2 NAND Toolkit to flash it in a more automatic way, or to be more specific a more noob friendly way. There is a link to the toolkit in the guide linked in my sig.
You need to pick out what Android ROM you want to use and read the first few post by the ROM chef to see what partition size you need to have and use the Toolkit to repartition the NAND memory to that size. Next download the .zip file for the ROM, make sure you get the version that is for clk. Some ROMs have only one version though that works with MAGLDR and clk. Next copy the .zip to the root of your SD card and then power on your HD2 holding down the home button and your recovery will boot up. Then just find the option that says install from SD card and then select the ROM file and flash it.
I installed HD2 NAND Toolkit.
I executed the following operations:
- Wipe (Task29)
- cLK repartition (150mb)
- cLK install recovery
then I rebooted into CWM recovery and installed the HyperDroid rom.
Now I have a fully working CM7-based android phone!
Thanks a lot!
